(Haha so some reminders before this starts. Once again, I stink at writing so sorry ahead of time. second its probably gonna be a pretty short story. New chapters will come out whenever I feel like it. Also lastly I am pretty bad at ending chapters so sorry XD If I think of anything else I will put it here.)



Chapter 1

~~~~~~~



The room was chilly. A light breeze blew throughout the room. The room was also pitch black. It was very silent. Not a sound was heard. Suddenly what seemed like stage lights flickered on and revealed a group of 6 students which looked like they were aged 12-18. Everyone's eyes opened at the same time revealing the room they were in. It looked somewhat futuristic. It showed a couch which had just about enough room to fit the 6 on. In front of the couch was a absolutely huge flat screen television that was currently turned off. Under the Television was a door. It was the only door in the entire room. The only single exit from the room they were in. There was also no signs of any windows. The girl on the very left of the couch spoke up almost instantly after awaking. "Hey. Where am I? Who are all of you?" She questioned. "I-I'm not sure." answered back a guy with white hair with a black streak in it. He was near the very right of the couch. The man with slicked back black hair stood up and stretched his legs. They seemed very stiff. The guy to his right also stood up and did the same thing. He also had black hair but he had an eye patch on. The girl toward the left started to panic a bit. She had very long black hair that reached her lower back. She also looked like the youngest. "Where am I?!" She exclaimed. "Who knows." Said the guy on the very right. He had brown hair and glasses. The guy with slicked back hair looked down at his hand and saw a device on his wrist that had two screens. Both were pitch black. "Hey does everyone have one of these?" He asked while pointing to his wrist. Everyone instinctively looked down at their own wrist to find that they also possessed one of them. The girl with purple hair attempted taking it off but was unsuccessful. "Why are these on us?" The black haired girl asked. "Hey listen, we all have questions but none of us have answers. We should spend time getting to know each others names before trying to figure out whats going on. I'll start. My name is End." Said the guy with the eye patch. The guy stood up next to him answered next. "I'm code, nice to meet you all...I guess." "I-I'm Kairi" Said the girl with long black hair. "I would be Bodhi." Responded the guy with brown hair and glasses. The guy with mostly white hair went next. "Hey, I'm Aqua." "I guess that just leaves me. I'm Siren" Finished the girl with Purple hair "Well now that we are all introduced we should figure out whats happening here!" Said Kairi. "I'll try the door" responded End. End grabbed the doorknob and twisted. It didn't budge. He tried again, harder this time. "No use. It's locked." He called back. As he finished the television in front of them flashed on showing a sound wave image. A voice then started speaking. It was very deep and obviously a way to disguise their voice. Kairi let out a little gasp as it started talking. "Hello, contestants, to my little game." The mysterious voice explained. "You see, all of you are trapped inside this game of mine. It is completely luck. No skill involved. However if you are unlucky, you can be...well...killed." The word killed rung out throughout the room. Bodhi's eyes widened a bit as he heard it. "This isn't very fair, leaving our lives up to chance! What even is happening?" Asked Aqua. The voice continued talking on. "You all will leave this room after I finish explaining everything to you. So in this little game of chance you will see you have machines strapped to your wrists. You will also see that there are 2 different screens. On the screen on the left, you will see the player who will be advancing in the game. On the right will be dice that you will roll if you are the person advancing in the game. If you are chosen to roll your dice then you will tap on the dice on the machine. You will receive a random number and that will be how many spaces you advance forward. When you land on that space you will look under your feel. An image will appear. If you see an arrow pointing ahead of you, you may advance an extra 5 rooms forward. If you come across an arrow pointing behind you, you will have to move back 5 spaces and you will lose 1 'heart'. Oh thats right, I have not explained to you what hearts are. They are, simply put, your life. You start out with 3. If you run out of hearts, you will be promptly electrocuted from your machines on your wrist. Don't worry though, it isn't deadly...just yet. It will only knock you out. Anyway continuing on what can be under your feet, you can also see a heart. This space will give you 1 extra heart. However if you have a full line up of 3 hearts, you do not recieve any more and it will be treated as an empty space. If you come across the poison square, 2 hearts will be taken away from you. Another space you might see is the 'Dead end' space. If you come across that space you will be brought back to the start, and try to get through the game again. You might also come across a medicine space. Now this space is a bit complicated. You see, with the medicine space you can either gain 2 hearts along with 1 other person of your choosing, or revive one 'dead' player who has run out of hearts. The last space you can come across, which I can tell you, you do not want to come across, is the skull space. If you come across one of these, you will lose all of your hearts and be electrocuted. Order is random in this game of mine. Your turn will be randomly generated, which means 1 person has the chance to go twice in a row. When it is your turn tap the screen and see what roll you get. You will then move that amount of spaces. If the path splits up at any point you, the player, can choose which way you would like to go. If you land on the same space as a dead player you have the choice of reviving them. In doing so, you will lose 1 heart, which is then given to the dead player. To win the game you must land on the finish space at the very end, but you are not done yet. You must roll a 4. Everyone that is still alive, however, can help you escape. If you reach the finish line and do not roll a 4, everyone still alive also rolls. If one of them rolls a 4 then you escape. If no one rolls a 4 between every alive player, then you must go all the way back to the start. Now the final thing I need to say is that you were all assigned player numbers by none other than yourselves. You may not remember that, but that's not important. To start off, player 1 is Siren. Player 2 is Kairi. Player 3 is Code. Player 4 is End. Player 5 is Aqua. Player 6 is Bodhi. The game will start as soon as this message is over. Oh and by the way if you haven't realized already, if everyone is dead and there are no living players left in the game, then everyone will be instantly given an extra, deadly shock all through their bodies, but do not fret! There is a chance that all of you escape and continue your daily lives. However, there is also a chance that all of you die together. See you at the other side. Maybe." After the long speech, the voice on the television stopped talking and the television turned off. Everyone was silent after listening to the voice, except for Bodhi's heavy breathing. The heard the door unlock, a cue for them to move on into the starting room. End led the pack of them into the starting room. The door locked behind them. No one felt safe in this game. The game was left up to pure luck, something that they had no control over.

Chapter 2

The screens on the wrists of all the players turned on revealing a screen that said Current Player on the left screen and Dice on the second. A sound of a gong went off and revealed the first chosen person. The player chosen was player 3. Code. "Huh, figures. So I guess I just do this?" He questioned as he tapped the die which had appeared on his right screen. Everyone sighed in relief that it wasn't them chosen to go first. The dice on the screen tumbled until they revealed a 3. Code looked ahead and took 1 step forward. The road instantly forked in 3 directions. One going left, one going right, and one going straight. Code took a turn right and disappeared from view of the other contestants. Code continued walking until he reached the third spot. The area underneath him was completely black until he first stepped onto it. He was greeted with a glowing blue arrow pointed forward, which he remembered he was allowed to move forward an extra 5. Code grinned feeling a bit safer and continued his extra 5. Once he finished another gong was heard throughout the building. Everyone looked down to see that the next person selected was player 1. Siren. Siren made a noise of annoyance and tapped the die. It spun multiple times before revealing her number. She also had gotten a 3. She walked forward to the fork in the road. She looked over to where Code had went but he was not there. She assumed that meant he got the extra 5 spaces so she did the same as Code and went right. She too got the extra 5 spaces and met up with Code. The gong sounded and the next player was up. Player 4. End. End quickly tapped the die without taking much thought. The die slowly landed onto a 1. End moved forward to the fork and stopped because that was as far as he could go. He looked down and the floor glowed blue but had no image on it. The gong sounded, meaning End's turn was over. However, when the player selection showed the next player, it was once again End. End narrowed his eyes a bit in frustration, but still tapped the die. It spun to a stop on the number 4. End chose to go left. He took his steps slowly, knowing that he might come to a painful stop once he stepped on the last tile. Once he reached it, the tile glowed blue with an arrow pointed forward. End smiled a bit and walked an extra 5 tiles, this time quicker than before. It was then time for the next persons turn. The contestant chosen was player 6. Bodhi. Bodhi, too, took no time in clicking on the die. The die revealed a 1. Bodhi was relieved and walked to the fork in the road and stopped. Like before, for End, it was nothing. The player selection screen then showed, once again, player 4, End. End let out an annoyed growl this time and clicked the die. The die revealed the number 1. End moved forward 1 space. The second he stepped on it, he looked down. In horror he saw the poison image pop up under his feet. A very strong jolt of electricity flowed through his body. End fell to the ground but got back up. He looked back at his machine and saw that 2 hearts were taken away from him, and that he only had 1 heart left. End brushed his shirt off and stood still on his space, done with his turn. Or so he thought. Once again player 4 appeared on the screen, once again to Ends dismay. End cursed and hit the die. It landed on a 2. End walked over the first tile and finished on the second. The floor revealed an arrow pointing backwards. End braced himself for the final electric blow but felt nothing.  He loosened up and realized he still needed to go back 5 spaces. He figured that maybe the game had made a mistake so he walked back 5 spaces. The second his foot reached the 5th space back an even stronger bolt of electricity ran through his entire body and he fell to the floor again, only this time, passed out. The entire room that everyone was in flashed red. Everyone either gasped or screamed and looked at their machines. Player 4 flashed on the player selection screen with a skull over his name. Everyone realized this meant End had 'died'. Kairi let out a whimper in worry along with Siren and Bodhi. Everyone had finally realized how hard it truly was going to be in order to get out of this place alive.

"And I am amazed at how you based the story off our own ages."

Chapter 3

Once the red lights stopped flashing throughout the entire room it was very silent once again. Everyone stared down at their machines seeing that the next person to move was Bodhi. Bodhi tapped the die and it landed on a 6. Bodhi walked very slowly to the sixth spot. He stepped on it and watched the floor glow blue. but reveal no image. Bodhi sighed in relief. The next person on the screen was Player 2. Kairi. Kairi whimpered but pressed the die. It rolled around and finished on a 4. Kairi got to the fork in the road and chose to go forward. When she stepped on the fourth space she saw the image below her. It said 'Dead End'. She was slightly annoyed but walked right back to the start where she had been the entire game so far. It was then Code's turn. Code glared at the screen and then tapped the die. The die revealed the number 4. Code then took the 4 steps and looked down. There was none other than a skull. Code cursed as her was electrocuted and lost all his hearts. Code fell to the ground as the lights in the room pounded the color red. This time, all the remaining 'alive' characters, Siren, Kairi, Aqua, and Bodhi let out audible sounds of worry once again seeing how easy it is to lose in this game. The game continued on however. The next player to show up was Player 5. Aqua. Aqua almost seemed a bit happy to finally be able to have a turn at the die. When the die finished tumbling they showed the number 6. Aqua moved to the fork and chose to go straight. He looked under him when he reached the space and saw nothing but a blue glow. The next person up was Kairi who now had another chance to leave the starting space. She anxiously tapped the die and saw it reveal the number 3. She walked forward to the fork and took a moment to decide. she eventually went to the right. She looked down at her feet as she reached the space and saw an arrow pointing forward. She smiled and walked forward. She then realized she was on the same space as Siren. When she reached her spot the next player to go was revealed. The next player was Bodhi. Bodhi hit the die and they landed on 5. Bodhi walked forward 5 spaces and looked down. There was once again nothing for Bodhi. Bodhi was starting to feel good about his chances. The next person up was Kairi. She touched the die and it showed the number 1. She quickly looked at Siren in a bit of worry but took the step forward. It revealed a wonderful image under her. It showed medicine and Kairi remembered the words the voice had said earlier. She remembered that she could revive someone. She looked at her machine, and where it normally said who was up next, it showed the two players that had been pronounced 'Dead'. She suddenly tensed up realizing she had to choose who to save from possible death and who to leave to possibly die. She closed her eyes tight and went with who she thought would be a better choice. She chose to save End.
