Sign-Ups:
1. The total time of this period will be usually 48-72 hours.
2. To sign-up for an official game, please follow the sign-up guidelines the host has given you on the application page. You will be given a blank application to fill out. Make sure to follow it precisely. Please don't post twice as it may cause confusion to the Host of the game.
This game runs on activity. With that said, please do NOT sign-up if you know you will be unable to participate, or else you will be removed from the game.

Daily Life:
1. During Daily Life, the players have the opportunity to roleplay as their characters. The host can introduce their mastermind, the murdergame and the motives during this period. Some games will include story and plot, which will require your attention (You may see NPCs whom you could RP and get story from). PM the host if you are unsure about anything.
2. Players can apply for Blackened (the murderer of the round) by sending a Personal Message to the host through forum or Discord. If more than one player applies, the Blackened will be randomly picked.
Nighttime:
1. The Blackened is notified at the start of Nighttime by the host.
Optional: The host will discuss the murder plan the blackened wishes to execute, in order to help them successfully executing it.
2. Players send the host Personal Messages of their actions during nighttime. Most games use a limit of 6 actions per night.

3. After everyone (besides inactive players) has sent their actions to the host, he/she will piece everything together. For example:
Aqua: "I go to the Kitchen and get a big slice of carrotcake."
Host: "You leave your dormroom and head to the Kitchen. On your way, you see Alucard running around with a carpet tied around his neck. As you and Hoshiko enter the Kitchen, you see Emi is already there, sneaking a kitchenknife into her jacket. You take your cake and eat it cheerfully."

As you can see, the other players (Hoshiko, Emi, Alucard) are also walking around the building, just like our exampleplayer Aqua. This way, alibis can be presented during the Trial Phase. Aqua could tell the other players that he saw Emi taking a kitchenknife if it would be relevant to the case.
4. The Blackened is treated just like any other player during Nighttime, with one exception: The host will try to keep the Blackened from getting caught. It's very vague but this could be done by, for example, giving the Blackened better reflexes than normal players and avoid passing by players in the hallways by hiding in a corner.
5. After the last action, everyone will automatically go to their own dormroom, falling asleep until Deadly Life. If three or more people discover a body before the last action though, a Body Discovery Announcement will happen and Deadly Life will start early. Players cannot be hurt once they've reached their dormroom after the last action. The Blackened won't automatically go to their dormroom after the last action, as they have more actions than the whitened. Blackened´s action limit is decided by the host. Blackened will however always have more actions than whiteneds.

Deadly Life:
1. A Monokuma File will go out revealing the victim, location, and minor details about the body. Additional info can vary depending on the circumstances.
2. Players send the Host a PM with a location/locations in the school they wish to investigate. Each player has 2 investigation credits (per floor). A room can be "scanned" by spending 1 credit, and investigated "in-depth" for 2 credits. In-depth usually gives more information than scanning. The victim's body counts as a separate room.
3. Investigation results from a particular room is the same among all players depending on the type of investigation you choose. However, only things revealed at face value are shown to the player. It's up to them to look for hidden clues or investigate pieces of evidence further. This can be done by asking the host questions about the given investigation results.
4. This period lasts for 24 hours, and then the Class Trial will occur.
Class Trial
1. Remaining Players will discuss for at least 24 hours about the murder and possible suspects. The host can choose to increase the trial's duration before or even during the trial.
2. A poll will be open from the get-go containing all of the names of the players from the Sign-Ups. Dead students will not appear except for the suicide option. The results of the poll will be hidden until the 24 hours is over and the polls close. You will only have 1 vote to use.
3. Players, in an optional scenario decided by the host, can choose to take a piece of evidence with them to trial and present it, so that other present people can have an in-depth look at it and discuss about it.
Furthermore, only if the host allows it, you are allowed to examine player(s) themselves for any clues they have on themselves like items, bloodstains on clothing, etc.
They just have to ask to do so in the thread, and the host will post the results whenever they can.

4. Results will be posted after polls close.
Results
1. The player with the most votes is killed. If a tie occurs, the kill will be randomized, unless the host specified otherwise.
2. If the Blackened was not killed, usually one of the following things will happen, depending on what the host decided:
- Everyone besides the Blackened is executed and the game ends OR
- The player with the most votes AND 1/2 randomly picked player(s) get(s) executed and the game continues.
The Blackened either leaves the game immediately after OR stays until the end of the game, immune to murder or executions. Both count as a win for the Blackened.
3. If the Blackened was killed, then another daily life (or jump straight to night phase) will be posted within 24 hours. This is again when people will be able to sign up as blackened.
Extra Gameplay Info:
1. 1 round of inactivity in a game will result in removal from the game by execution. You are counted active by posting in a Class Trial. If you're inactive during Nighttime, you will be auto'd, which means the host decides where your character goes and what they do during your absence. Your character's safety cannot be guaranteed during these actions. HOWEVER, you the bare minimum you can missed is for ONE(1) action for the entired Nighttime session, if failure to commit, the other option is to post your ALIBI and INVESTIGATION RESULTS for the purpose of activity. Failure to do so, will lead to consequences from the host of the Game.
2. A game will not end until everyone has either died or survived, or if the host decides to end the game after a certain trial.
3. The blackened has a larger amount of actions during the night. HOWEVER, a victim cannot be acquired after the whitened action limit is reached. By then, every other player should have returned to their dormroom, which should be impossible to break into. Cases will be unsolvable if the entire murder happened after the last action. The maximum amount of actions is determined by the host of the game, and they should make it clear on how many actions a blackened has.
Unlimited blackened actions are not allowed, and should always have a clear limit that is fair for both whitened and blackened.
All Subject to Change if problems are presented.
