Hello everyone. Welcome to Gold Crown Town. My name is Edel and I will be your host this evening. Before you set forth into our city, allow me to tell you a story.
Once upon a time…
There was a town that felt isolated from the world. It boasted of its stories, its music, its grand ventures into the unknown. “Why our stories are so powerful, so magical, they feel real sometimes!” the mayor would boast.
How right he was, even if he was not aware, for stories that were written both outside and in came to life to experience their endings in the walls of the city.
But what of the conflicts of the stories morals, of the tales themselves? What of the authors who found their characters running free beyond the pages and ink? Surely not all tales will end the way the story was written…
“Ufufu! That’s no way to tell a story, Edel! These stories have no ending and we certainly need guests before you can host anything! Hold on one second and let me find some for you…”
A strange man in flamboyant clothes digs through space itself before presenting sheets and pressing it to the screen. “Here you go, here you go, come join our wonderful story that is Gold Crown Town.”

Concept is that each character is from or is tied to a story. Ideally something like a fairy tale or aesop’s fable or similar, but not required (the story doesn’t have to be real even, I’ll just have to ask a few questions about it if it’s fake).
Blackened will be for volunteers. If we get no volunteers, I random it.
