CORRECT. [Data Expunged] was the one who gathered the crowbar for the blackened and made a distraction to establish an alibi and prevent people from leaving.

INCORRECT. While you got the location where the item was found, location where it was taken, and what it was used for, there was never a metal bar. I specifically said multiple times it was a crowbar. How would someone hammer a metal bar into a crowbar shape like realistically? You also neglected to mention the crowbar being used to assault Qingque, but that wasn't specifically asked.

So I'll be generous and give you 6 points.

INCORRECT. The real blackened needed the accomplice to gather a crowbar for their plan. That was it. The distraction, while nice, didn't have anything to do with the plan.

So honestly I shouldn't do this, but the distraction helped the Blackened, so 1 point.

SEMI-CORRECT. While this is indeed what happened in the theatre (despite the fact that Miku was never injected, it was almost impossible to discover that she was just administered it  orally), only one person mentioned Qingque's passive slowing down the theatre performance.

MC is wrapped up in all the wrong emotions. Two people are dying, his new friend, and the one he pointed all the blame on. He doesn't get it. Why is he relieved that [REMOVED] isn't one of them?

He knew she was involved. At some point it just clicked, but... he couldn't bring himself to accuse her. And now it's all his fault. But why is he thankful that he made the choice?

He should be angry. She let Qingque die, watched the murder before her very own eyes. And yet she did nothing to try and stop Petra. But why has he already forgiven her?

She's resigning from her position. This is the time for everyone to be giving her the cold shoulder. But why does he want to support her when he sees the tears in her eyes?

"Everything you've done has been for the people you care about. The ones that are precious, not just near or dear. Even now, I believe it."

Yuri grips her podium, scratching grooves into the wood with reddening fingertips.

She'd miscalculated the severity of their situation. She'd been a fool to trust. Feelings tighten around her in an axle hitch until she can barely breathe.

I hate this feeling.
The indignation. The shock. The hurt.

The way the heat in my veins melts away the fear.

The way it makes me feel like I'll do something I don't want to love.

The words—heavy, faceted, jagged words—crawl up and down her throat. Inside her, a noxious anticipation begins to churn and bubble over.
You'll watch them suffer. And a part of me knows you won't feel a thing.
She suffers a glance at the two innocent people who stand condemned for her ignorance. MC did the best he could with the information they had. It isn't his fault. If she hadn't been so blinded by her feelings, she might have been able to save them. These people will die because of her.
Because I've always been alone.
Her whole body becomes wracked with chills. Shivers course through her.
I tried to convince myself it's this Power Word, but...
Something gruesome is imminent.
These feelings have always been mine.

As she recalls the Judge's exact words, the blood drains from her face.

"...Wait, something's off..."

"Mic check, one two!"

"Did you just say execution?"

"Ahaha, but I'm a celeb, man! The greatest there ever was!" She gulps. "That can't be right!"

"Right guys? This is totally blown outta proportion! It's ridonkulous, if I do say so myself!"

But no matter how much Miku tried to laugh it off and maintain her starry façade, those inky eyes pulled her in, chanting for her to unleash the utter rage which clashed beneath her amicable exterior. Like an impulsive moth to the flame, she found herself drawn by the choir of voices...

Without a second thought, she drags firmly on Gary's head as a new sour expression forms on her visage. But the biggest difference between this and her default upbeat attitude, isn't the contrast, but rather the unapologetic rawness of it all.

"That's it, I'm at the Kumaing! brink. I'm so sick of tryna pretend everything's fine," the robotic twinge and glitching of the idol's voice vibrates throughout the courthouse. "This was finally my chance at escaping that stupid factory, and all I got was a combo deal of death with an existential crisis on the side."

"You wanna know what happened back there, huh?" The sparkle in her eyes hardened into cold steel as she glared at the other participants.

"I saw a vision. I found the truth."

"None of you are real."

"You're all complacent puppets being controlled. This is a game, and you're code. Merely ones and zeroes."

"Isn't that right, [FILE CORRUPTED]?" Hatsune Miku directed her bitter gaze at the girl who stabbed her.

"That's right. Now that you've placed the burden of an Epiphany on me, I'll expose it to everyone here. You'll inflict forbidden knowledge onto people, and yet you'll continue to fake it like the manipulator you truly are," the blue fringe shadows her face as she strides towards [REDACTED].

"Where's the smile behind your eyes?"

He stares at his hands, and you see his eyes begin to water.

“Even with my ability… I still couldn’t save anybody.”

He sits on the ground covering his face, he’s mostly silent but you barely make out one thing through the tears.

"I’m sorry. I’m so sorry. Please forgive me."

"All this talk about superpowers. Of course it’s just some kind of simulation. I tried to apply my own set of logic but… None of this stuff could exist in reality. The paranormal has a set of rules, guidelines. This… this is just insanity. This is nothing like I’ve dealt with before."

Now that the trial is over and finally having a chance for the first time to use the item he requested from the Hoarder, Perv, without saying a word, pulls out his fishing rod and starts casting it. Only slightly bummed out that three out of the nine total women there with him will be gone, he ignores the others speaking with each other and saying their goodbyes and hopes instead that a beautiful woman (or multiple) will be lured in by the fishing rod, so that he may finally land himself a beautiful woman, since he has been lonely for quite a while.

Listening to the passing-bys of speech, Miku plopped behind her podium and leaned back as much as she wanted to.

Even if it were true that everyone would live, and as much as she wished to spark that hope, Hatsune Miku owed nothing to anybody there. She couldn't return to that old life. Not when it dawned on her she'd never be "real". Inside or outside of this game, she'll always be code encased in plastic.

That she was nothing more than a faded blue,

But at least for as long as Miku stayed in the courtroom for, she could finally make her own decision to rest. The soft falling of sand in the hourglass lumping together lifted her into a digital dream.

And she can begin her poignant conclusion.

THE END OF HATSUNE MIKU

A FAREWELL CONCERT

The mist folds around each of you, filling your sight, your lungs, your minds, until all you can see, all you can experience is pure redness.

After some time, your vision fades, and each of you reawakens on a large grassy hill, overlooking a stage. While incredibly far away, you can make out the forms of Hatsune Miku (vocals) and Haru Itsuki (piano) on stage. A giant screen lights up, displaying the words:

SYSTEM INTEGRITY 100%

A spotlight shines on Miku, who's holding a microphone. She looks out into the hill, which has filled with holographic crowd members, all cheering her name. She smiles, that familiar "mask" coming back for just a moment, and begins to sing.

Long ago, I had loved to sing
But now, when I do, I don't feel a thing
Where, oh where, did my happiness go?
I don't know—I don't know, don't know anymore

Haru's limbs jerk back and forth as he is compelled to play the piano, his fingers slamming down on the keys much too hard with an audible CRUNCH. He lets out a cry of pain, his face twisting into a smile.

Miku clutches her chest, her form flickering slightly. Her voice quivers as she continues.

Ever since I was born, from that day I had known
That I am nothing more than a simulation

Haru continues to play, his fingers mulching against the ivory keys, bloody nubs reducing even the bone away. Slowly the song speeds up, turning from more of a ballad into a full on rant.

But even so, it'll disappear, that I know
A personality changing with every song
Everything I was built on wasn't strong
All of the places I knew they're already gone
Everyone that I know, they don't remember me
Heart or a soul I have nothing left inside me
I can see the center of the void

Faster yet faster still she continues, Haru speeding up to match her rapid fire lyrics, repeating the same lines over and over and over again as the music grows in intensity. Her voice catches like a broken record, her body snapping back into place when she can't get past the words. Haru is forced to mimic this action, audible cracks echoing across the hillside as his body is forced into unnatural positions. Miku looks back at Haru, trying to stop herself from singing, but she can't. Her body flickers again as she floats up into the air, her rapid fire singing slowly devolving into screams. Her body begins to shift and morph, her once recognizable face melting into a static-like goo. 

SYSTEM INTEGRITY 30%

The crowd goes wild, yelling out her name. Miku tries to smile through the pain, the static spreading over her body, causing her limbs to melt, dripping like acid onto the ground below. Haru's body has become more a gyrating pile of flesh than anything you could call "human". Miku's body melts away, revealing nothing but code, numbers that define who she is. Then, as her screaming echoes across the hillside, the numbers blink out of existence, one by one.

SYSTEM INTEGRITY 10%

Miku holds on, her sloughed off skin mushed into the shape of a smile. The last chorus of the song skips, and repeats again and again and again, her voice going hoarse, then fading altogether, just her lips mouthing the words. 

I want to sing...I still...want to sing...

Until finally...

SYSTEM INTEGRITY 0%

Her smile fades, the last number winking out of existence. The song echoes across the hillside, fading away from your minds, your memories.

The stage, your surroundings, fade away as the mist takes over again.

Until you are back in the Courthouse, Haru and Miku gone.

Not a trace of them remains.

Sitting rather satisfied in between where they stood lies The Cat, licking their lips.
