Game 105 - Deadly 1

As the night wanes on, one sole person runs to and fro, "yelling" out in a hoarse haggard whisper. They gather everyone at the Docks, where a figure lays on their back, motionless.

Let's take a stock of how everyone is doing, shall we?

Saya Kisaragi - Is drenched head to toe. She was the one who gathered you all here.

MC is there
Monika - Has cheesecake crumbs on her hands.
Fu Xuan - Shimmers and appears next to the group.

Gary the Referee on Vacation - Has pockets full of gold

Yuri - Can't help but smile.

Natsuki - Holds that satchel she found during Daily. It's full of things.

Zoro is clutching Sanji.

Sanji is clutching Zoro.

Haru - Looks sleepy.

Hatsune Miku - Is bleeding heavily from her shoulder, a crazed look in her eyes.

Perv Asshat - Holds a fishing rod with a far sexier man's photo at the end.
Petra - Looks on in horror.

Sayori - Trembles in fear.

Tetsuo - Is holding the bridge of his nose.

That just leaves...

The waterlogged corpse of Qingque, covered in grime. Blood leaks out from a wound on his head. His body is ice cold.

The Judge appears from the mists, repeating a rhyme to you all.

Blood spilled

One killed.

Solve the case.

Or take their place.

He really should workshop this.

Time to investigate!

(I'll fluff this up a bit later but everyone will get 2 credits to use to investigate. (1 for a scan, 2 for an in-depth look) You may search any named location, the body (which is at The Docks) and 2 credits can search "The Streets of Town" (Figured I don't waste your time with inconsequential streets)

You have 24 hours to send in your investigations.

"I'm sorry...I was unable to read the ending of your time."

Fu Xuan then bows her head
"Once we return to Xianzhou Loufu...I will ensure to hold a ceremony of parting."

She looks at the group stoically and say
"I'll search the Street of the Town"

Yuri does her utmost to keep her breathing steady.




"What did they mean by ‘solve the case?’­­ Then we're... investigating? The Judge never mentioned—"


She has to turn away to hide her grin, unable to hold it back any longer.




"Ahem. Well, if it's necessary, then... I can search the... um... Crime Scene, I suppose we should call it. I don't mind."

Zoro pushes Sanji away, blushing, and stalks off to investigate the Inn.

Sayori is still shaking out of fear.

"E-Everyone is fighting and getting hurt.. I can't help my friends.."

Tetsuo grinds his teeth.

"Damn it. Why now? Why here? Could I have prevented this?"

He is silent for very a long time.

"I'm so sorry, little one. I hope you find the peace on your end, that we now must strive for on our own."

"Listen. I underestimated the severity this situation. I had hoped we were a united front. Had a shared enemy. Now I know that was a foolish assumption."

He crouches down next to where Yuri has started investigating.

"Don't take this personally kid. I just think it's especially important to get this right."

"Afterwards, I can scope out the Bank as well. Don't worry, with my experience, I think I can handle both without half-assing things."

(Tetsuo is claiming to be able to investigate both the Docks and the Bank with a 2-credit investigation)

"So all that talk... wasn't for nothing."

Even with everything that's happened today, MC was hoping that their despairing state of affairs was just a prank by the vacation contest organizers. That possibility is nowhere to be found now.



When he sees a red-bowed girl trembling at the body before her, he forces his frozen legs to walk to her. He turns Sayori away from the scene and pulls her into a hug.

"Sayori, don't look that way anymore. You can help, and your help can save more lives."

"Remember the Judge's poem just now? I think he's threatening us, if we don't solve how this happened, then he's going to take out the rest of us. That means we need to search for as many clues as we can."

MC glances behind her shoulder at Qingque's corpse. Asking Sayori to investigate near the body would only do her more harm. It has to be someplace far from the Docks. Once he decides where, he unwraps his arms from the hug and rests his hands on her shoulders.

"Can you see what you can find at the Tram Stations? If we can learn when people rode into town, it would be an amazing find. We could split it, so I check the Central side and you check the Hotel side."

Miku is clutching onto her injured arm, staring into the distance.

She glances at the dead body with a pained grimace on her face.

"This is not daijoubu."

As she sees the others already picking their spots to investigate, Miku knows there's no way she's heading to the Moonlight Theater again.

"...Miku is heading to the bank and Qingue's room," she replies, veiling the slight glitch of her voice.

But before she goes, she visits the Hoarder's warehouse to ask the rats for bandages.
