103C Deadly 3 - A Midnight Escape?

[Vaellin the Bard]

Sirens. That is what is heard all throughout the island, both inside and out.

After several minutes, the sirens abruptly cut off and Sue's voice fills the air, just as sharp and loud.



"I understand your desire to leave, please feel free to continue your futile attempt. However just two things."

Her faux smile oozes through her conversation, the veil threat hanging in the air.

"One, Some of you may desperately wish to solve this murder. And two..."



"You're not leaving with the hacker"


There's a pause and many see the lights in the building come back on with a bright flash and a loud buzzing sound. The red lights have faded.

"I've restored power to the building. I will have one of you executed, whether it be the killer or one of you... well I won't say innocents at this time. You have an investigation to figure this out. Since many of you are making an attempt to break the rules, allow me to explain the situation verbally."

Despite saying this, the trial room still flickers to life with the display as per usual.

"Tonight victim was none other than last night's murderer, Power. She was found dead in the lounge."

"And if anyone has the hacker with them, know that I will find out who you are. And there may be a penalty for hiding them."

"You have one hour to investigate."

Aki could REALLY use a smoke right now. Despite the stoic demeanor, he impatiently taps his foot and appears to be highly restless.

"Lounge. Got it."

He immediately starts to walk off, expression still unchanging. He mutters something very quietly

"I will take care of your cat if I have to. Don't worry. I'll see you later, I hope."
