Your Answer: The victim was attacked with a bag of chlorinated water. The chlorine fumes rendered the victim delirious and short of breath. Alcohol was set aflame using a set of matches to ignite the card table; the smoke from the fire eventually asphyxiated the victim. The fire slowly spread across the flammable carpets and eventually sealed all the doors leading into the Casino, delaying the body's discovery

{Answer}Correct Answer: The area was doused in alcohol (hence the burnt smell of alcohol in the investigations) when the blackened was left alone A2. Then they set up matches in the card deck and instructed the mannequin to shuffle in such a way as to strike a match. The trigger was when someone was close to the east exit as to prevent them time from escaping.

[Vaellin the Bard]

Sue tilts her head with a grimace on her face.

“Incompetent. Entirely incompetent. You all are the best we could find this time? This whole thing is going end in another dead end, isn't it?” She growls in disapproval.

After a few moments her face twists into her usual faux smile.

“But that's okay. I will show you exactly the price you will pay for being wrong. If one demonstration before wasn't enough, with Rio, allow me to present two.”

“The first of you will be executed for doing nothing to accomplish their task. They succeeded by pure luck, and mostly because of the blackened.”

“The second dawdled in their task, focused on doing more than time tonight would allow. An overachiever, sure, but one needs to learn to limit themselves.”

“So someone who achieved success by doing nothing and someone who failed by doing too much.”

The screens in your hands flash except for two. Those two go red as their faces are presented on everyone else's screens.

The tiny face of Fuzz and the wistful face of Kaworu.

“It is now that they must pay the price.”

Mannequins rush in, grabbing the two. Kaworu doesn't put up a fight and while Fuzz tries to get away, their diminutive size works against them without their flight.

They are pulled into two doors at the side of the trial room—doors you hadn't seen before—and the black walls once more portray an image. A video feed.

First Execution:
(Warnings: Gluttony, those who have a hard time with depictions of being force fed, overeating or eating gross things look away)

{Unwanted Overindulgence}Fuzz is strapped into a small chair with a comically large tray before them, like an out of proportion baby chair. The tiny moth gasps and struggles against then pauses as a loud thump hits the tray.

Clothes. A lot of them. Stained and smelling bad enough that you could see the other bugs jealously floating around it. Fuzz's eyes widened, bothered for multiple reasons as it struggles even harder against the straps, so hard that you can see breaks in Fuzz's exoskeleton.

Then a small mannequin arrives. It picks up a sock and starts dismantling it into threads and sets it in front of Fuzz like cotton noodles of mustard and sweat. It turns then to a shirt, doing the same.

A crane hand comes down with a fork, stabbing it into the noodle clothing and spinning it before presenting it to the moth. Fuzz attempts to pull back shaking its head and mumbling in protest until the straps slap around the moths face and wrench open Fuzz's mouth.

The crane then immediately slams the string into the bug's mouth, goes back for more and does it again before Fuzz has a chance to finish the first.

Another mouthful.

Another sock unstrung.

Another mouthful.

A pair of pants torn apart.

Another mouthful.

The flies buzz around jealously until the pile, bigger than Fuzz originally, dwindles to nothingness.

As the last headband is brought before the insect, Fuzz pleads for mercy, but they do not relent and the last bite is delivered.

The sobbing stops.

The video darkens.

Another starts.

Second Execution:
(Warning: violence, torture, broken limbs, gore, uh it is very violent.)

{Above A Sea of Blood}The screen shifts to an area with a red ground. No, there's a flat platform that is red and red water surrounding it, like blood but far to bright. The sky is dark, as if trapped underground, and on the platform stands on figure alone.

Kaworu.

From the darkness and hand launches out, bigger than Kaworu himself. It holds onto the gray haired teen, clenching him in a tight fist. It squeezes tight. Tighter. One can hear the snapping of bones and Kaworu doesn't resist. There's a spark in his eye, something between hope and also disappointment. Especially when the hand, now several feet up, suddenly opens and drops him.

Kaworu lands with a sickening snap, his legs crumpling beneath him. Then four more hands launch out, smaller than before. This time they lift him up together, holding him out with the limbs spread out.

They start to pull. The skin tears at the joints. Kaworu cries out.

The large hand snaps back out again, holding onto Kaworu's head.

The small hands pull harder, the popping of joints is audible.

The large hand then starts to twist.

It happens at once, the final snap of the twist and the pop of the limbs as arms and legs pop off and the head tears open. Kaworu's torso falls back onto the platform. Red liquid pools out of him, as bright as the red water that it spills into.

The screen darkens.

{The Mannequins Bundle}Everyone is left in the trial room the ground a brilliant color.

Sue turns with a frown to everyone once again and then snaps her head as a mannequin rushes into the room. It whispers in her ear and Sue glowers at it before another mannequin steps in with a bundle. Fuzz is held in its arms, tired and hurt and crying but alive. Somehow.

“Fine. Enough of a show. Everyone is to go to their rooms and rest for the rest of the night. In the morning, I will have an update on the hotel. We will meet in the lounge.” Sue huffs angrily and then walks out of the room towards the monitor room.

The masked man looks at the scene, before sighing to himself, realizing that their captors are even less rational then he thought.

A tense girl watched the executions play out, and one could swear that she gives a sigh of relief as the mannequin unveils the bundle. After Sue leaves, Roroa stands off to the side dejected. Quiet mumbles emanate from her corner, "I didn't... She forced me... Is a wish... really worth all this? Couldn't they... find another way... They have all this technology... all this power... Why did they choose this?"

Just as gentlemanly fails to apply to one uncouth enough to immediately jump to false conclusions and resort to violence based on said assumptions. Coercion is exactly what this is, unless a bookworm as yourself is only putting on airs. What else would you call a tyrant’s demand to follow or die? As we’ve all seen, she isn’t afraid to murder those who displease her… Though considering the situation… I’m likely dead either way… Doomed if I do, doomed if I don’t… Is this really all this world of the future has in store for us? ...”

Amaya stares at the screen before looking away...and whispers

"This...isn't what this was supposed to be...."

She then dug through her bag and took out two chrysanthemums and walk over to where Fuzz and Kaworu had been standing and placed it on the podium before walking away from the trial room with her head held high and holding her tears in....she needed some fresh air or anything...

Mr Anonymous looks at both the Roroa and Maki. He walks up to the two arguing girls and says to Roroa "I agree with your decision, after all, we are trying to win this game, are we not?" He looks over to Maki."And I would appreciate you stop trying to argue with the winner of the first round, we have all been bested, so the clear action to take is to first either plan a way to win, or join the winning side. Saying so, he reaches out his hand to the queen. "Would you accept an alliance from me, perchance?"

Roroa stares at the masked man's hand, "I'm afraid you've the wrong idea, I want nothing more to do with this morbid wish machine. If this is how they choose their leader, I've to question what exactly they seek. One who makes it through this ordeal of theirs is unlikely to remain mentally sound. Winner? There is no such thing here. I've only made myself a more enticing target. If I was to join an alliance, it would be to overthrow the our 'dear' hosts or escape."

The masked man takes his hand away..."I see..." he says regretfully. "It seems I expected a bit too much of you...I thought you were also one who was willing to do anything to win...I must say, I do not understand how you managed to stay a queen with such a shaky mentality...but I shall not argue, as that is pointless in this game. I bid you good luck in this game, but I shall not agree to overthrow the hosts...as that would be unhelpful to the fulfilling of my wish."
