Mr. Lacey had left the vtubers realm after all the trouble that had been there. He can't believe he was convinced to kill poor Mr. Maes! Well, maybe he can, either way he was reformed now! He had died! and come back alive! What a story to tell his other Leprechaun friends! He did agree that he might have to meet up with Maes again to help with his research at some point, unfortunately that is the sort of bargains you make in death! Especially to make up for killing him dead! He made it back to Ireland (Where else would I state he would be, I mean come on, I'm British) and he was hopping along the forest paths towards his hidden home, and to see all his friends! He saw the delightful stone wall covered with vines, and he knocked thrice times and a circular door appeared in the wall! Almost like a hobbit door, be he promises he is a Leprechaun and not a Hobbit, even if they both may be small! He opens the door and goes through. this side of the forest is much more sunnier, and the trees in bloom and the flowers growing, it seems here that winter does not take it's hold on plants as much as upon the side where others may live. He carried on skipping his way through the forest until he made it back to home. A home in a hill, a home which is quite small, but fits in him, and he can sit outside and smoke his pipe and not have a care in a world, a home where a note was initially sent to him from Miss Fauna about her Autumn Solstice Festival. Oh how he wished he did not go. Also again yes, it sounds like a hobbit home, but I promise it's a Leprechaun home! Look inside, there is my pot of.... Wait? Where is Mr. Lacey's pot of gold. It was right here on the table when he last looked. Wait was the door unlocked? Did he forget to lock the door before he left? Does that mean the other Leprechaun's had stolen his gold? Added to their collections? Well this wasn't right! He stormed right outside into the village on top of his lungs and shouted:
"Now who here among you all decided to steal my gold?
I cannot believe any one of you would be that bold!
Now if you would please be so kind,
and return of which is mine!"
A window slammed open from one of the cottages across the village square; "Oh stop with the rhyming Lacey, we get doing it to humans, but we cannot stand it here. As for your gold I think Frank took it, you just upped and left without no word of goodbye, and even left your door unlocked, of course we presumed you'd never return!"
"Now my dear lady,
That just seems a bit shady,
If I was leaving forever,
Why would I leave my gold! That isn't very clever!"
The poor female leprechaun rolled her eyes at Mr. Lacey's rhyme, "It's not my place to say Lacey, bring it up with Frank." The window slammed shut again, it seems that most of the leprechauns were still sleeping at this early hour of the morning. Mr. Lacey laughed, if only he got to complete his story for Omegaa instead of killing, then he would of had a new pot of gold, now he has to go and find his old one because of some silly misunderstanding. Mr. Lacey walked across the village and approached Frank's house. When he banged on the door, a solid three times, three times the charm, but also because the loud bangs show that he is not happy. An equally old Leprechaun opened the door, and had a look of surprise on his face when he saw Mr. Lacey standing in front of him. "Oh... good man Lacey! I wasn't expecting to see you back so soon! How.. how can I help you?"
"You know exactly why I'm here "Good man",
I'm here for my gold of course! Not some pecans!
So return what is mine,
and then our business is done, all is fine!"
Frank looks a bit sheepish, but nods his head all the same. "Yes yes, you're quite right, I'll go and get it now." He disappears for a moment, but then comes back holding a pot of gold by the handle, these Leprechauns are much stronger than they look. "Now next time take it with you!" Mr. Lacey eyeballs it and then grabs the handle to weight it. He nods his head, exactly 1000 gold coins, as it should be. He tips his hat at Frank, who tips his back and shuts his door. As Mr. Lacey whistles on the walk back to his cottage he thinks about how he can't wait for a normal day again.
