"Calliiiiiii! Come on it'll only be for a couple of days~!" The bright orange haired vtuber said, almost singing it at the very angry looking pink haired scythe wielding vtuber. "I can't believe you took my bed without saying anything!" "Look it was perfect timing with Fauna's upcoming Solstice party, it just means you have to sleep with her guests for three nights, whilst I try to save your bed from the Phoenix nest." "Kiara I just don't understand why it's going to take three nights, surely you could just go now, and save my bed from your pets." "But with all the celebrations for the festival I'm only going to have a limited amount of time each day to work my magic! By the time you've hosted the music festival section of the celebrations anyway it'll basically be time to come home! Besides you like working at night anyway!" Calli rolled her eyes at Kiara. "Okay fine, but you owe me! My things are not to keep becoming part of your pets nests!" "I promise it won't happen again Calli! I just am pretty busy at the moment, apparently there is an issue with the vr headsets at the moment as well, all these problems just keep building up!" Mumei has placed herself on the floor of the
room, her back towards the wooden door locking her new friend away. She came across the door by accident, she was planning on what they could transform the storage room into when the lights went out. So she went to investigate when she came across a door she did not recognise. That was when the Narrator spoke to her for the first time. Since then she has come back here daily to talk to the Narrator, not only has she helped the Narrator fill out some plans to get some people who weren't originally invited to Fauna's Solstice party now invited, in return the Narrator has told her some interesting things. It's quite interesting how even behind that locked door, she can see what the other vtubers are doing. Mumei can feel the Narrator's powers, she is definitely interesting, and she hopes that even after her escape that she'll still want to work with Mumei. "So you managed to get Kiara's pets to steal Calli's bed? I won't lie it was a weird plan of yours but it seems to have worked." "I had to think of a pretty convincing way to get Calli involved with the celebrations. Well more then she already was going to be involved anyway. Usually it can be quite hard to keep that Reaper in one place, especially since she's been doing shows in the US and Japan." "Well I'm impressed either way Mumei, well done." Mumei slightly blushes, and she hopes that the Narrator cannot tell, or at least especially hopes that the Narrator will not mention her blushing. "I'm still quite surprised that one of these stories have to be completed by my own friend." "Everyone has a story Mumei, even you, but I can tell that your purpose and story right now is to help me, and not to actually be one of the stories to open this door."
Calli takes the elevator towards Fauna's Forest. Fauna is sat in her Cottage. "Ah Calli! Kiara said you were going to join the other guests as her pets stole your bed! I'm sorry to hear that but I hope you enjoy all the celebrations!" "Yeah it's chill, I wanted to host a music festival anyway as part of the festival, so just means I'll be more heavily involved in organising it, I felt like meeting up with the others at the entrance, will you be joining us?" "I will be in just a bit, I just want to finish this chapter!" Fauna holds up the book she had been reading. "Yeah okay, no worries, I'll see you up there then." Calli heads out of the cottage and starts walking towards the forest entrance, she mutters some obscenities about the fallen tree that has blocked off the quicker fast. "Fauna could just get that cleared up, but nooooo, it's part of the environment here now, jeez." Calli hears a snap in the thick trees behind her. She turns to look at it. "Hello?" Calli shakes her head and continues walking. She tries to shake the feeling like she's being watched. This forest has definitely felt strange since the failed ceremony the other day. She just hopes that other Fauna isn't planning any mischief during the festival, maybe actually because of this being closer to the festival will also be good, keep a better eye on people.
