You've been getting wet from the rain during your investigations. But day has broken. Ame tells you it's time, you follow her to the usual set up and discover one more banner have joined Maes, Mr. Lacey and Sana. (Elias's now has a cross instead of a question mark, but I'm lazy).



Yasu is dead.

You need to find out who killed him. The Solstice has happened, Yandere Fauna's powers have weakened, who was affected before the solstice was complete. It's up to you to finally beat Yandere Fauna.

Okay again adjusting as we go. This time there are no locked objectives, I thought about it real hard, but I think this should be solvable but challenging the way it is.

You have 72 hours.

No extension.

For 24 hours you can ask me questions about your invest results via discord pm or forum pm's, I only prefer discord because I can reply whilst I'm at work, but I will try to reply to both.

After 24 hours you can no longer ask questions but I will open up the answers thread. You will have 48 hours to finish the trial and put your answers on the answers thread.

After that time I will lock both threads and you'll have a final 24 hours to vote on the answers you agree with.

Now this is just a comment from Ven, CAN YOU PLEASE, USE, THE, TRIAL, THREAD, TO, SOLVE, THE MYSTERIES.

This is has been a big bug of mine with this site, for a very long time, I understand yes you wanna do a bit of out of character working outs, but the majority of things should be discussed using the trial, make the site feel loved.

"Everyone! I the great vtuber Rin Hasagawa would like to start off this trial with a speech. As you all know. We've all been trapped here by Fauna's crazy twin and she has been causing havoc throughout the whole festival and has been responsible for all the recent deaths! This cannot stand any longer! That is why I call upon everyone to rise up and fight against Yandere Fauna and it begins by finding out who murdered poor Yasu! I urge everyone to give all their investigations and alibis at once and give it our all for we cannot afford to stay on the sidelines and to waste anymore time because if we fail. Yandere Fauna will take away all our lives, our futures and our happily ever after! Make no mistake! This is not just a trial. This is WAR and thus we must show no mercy and do whatever it takes to defeat Yandere Fauna once and for all and put an end to this madness!"

“My night was pretty uneventful, but I’ll say what I learned through investigating first. The body first, the only notable injury was the sword through the heart…and they died with an expression of peace. As if they felt no pain and/or where expecting it.

The crime scene was pretty bare bones too. There were drag marks from the body that went from its location back to The old tree, then to rester's retreat.”

(Tree Stump Village: Side/Outside of Fauna's cottage it looks like a splash of blood.
Rester's Retreat: A bed has been dug up and there's a red-shiny sigil (what's a sigil?). There's a shovel and smashed bottle near it.)

"Hmm... Let's see. Lovers Outlook had little leaf balls everywhere... Timmy, did you make them? Oh, and did you go to the VR Lobby at any point? Myth Floor Hallway has a pair of muddy footprints walking that way. The foot size seemed like it would fit you best"

Cynthia grimaced, shifting her weight to her other leg slightly. "For the first hour of the night, I headed to the Old Tree (once again) to take another look around it. I'm still supposed to be climbing it, or I guess I was supposed to be... guess I failed my task." The girl sighed, dropping her head into her hands before giving a wince of pain at the movement. She continued, "I was informed by Fauna that the sigils had a puzzle relating to them and the tree before, so I searched for any hidden sigils there and didn't find any. I originally intended to go there and then move onto other areas for the rest of the hour, but got really tired after walking there..." (I didn't realize I couldn't switch locations mid-hour, which was unfortunate but makes sense and I still feel a bit silly about it lol)

The dirty-blonde-haired girl looked to the side slowly, having learned her lesson from moving her head too fast the previous time. "Once I had gained a bit of my strength back, around the second hour of the night, I left from the Old Tree to the Druid's Hideaway to check it out and see if the festivities Fauna had mentioned had started yet, to which I found that they hadn't. As I was leaving the Old Tree, I heard rustling in the bushes, but it was light enough that it might've been natural. Once I got to the Hideaway, I saw Calli there as well alongside almost all the Vtubers. I took some extra time here to search for sigils, but, again, didn't find any." Finally done with this part of her account, Cyn took a deep breath.

"For the third hour, in a stroke of brilliance," her voice was clearly sarcastic, "I headed up to Yandere Fauna's hideout to see if the ritual circle was also a sigil... Only to find that it had apparently been washed away by the rain... I was planning on doing a bunch of stuff, though, so I also went to look for any sigils and actually found some which was vaguely surprising, but I went ahead and punched one of them to see if it would break and ended up hurting my hand and having it gain a red glow for a few seconds. Then, I headed from the hideout to Lover's Outlook to look for any more sigils, but didn't find any. On my way through Rester's Retreat, I saw that Yasu was there and digging up a sigil. I heard some people outside of Fauna's Cottage, but didn't see any of them..." After this piece, Cyn's expression deflated and she began to droop and sat on the ground. "Well, after that, at the start of the fourth hour, I tried to head back to Rester's Retreat to see what Yasu was doing and was planning, if he wasn't there, to go to the Old Tree because we worked on the sigil stuff together for daily 2, but was interrupted while going past the cottage by being "grabbed and hit against a wall, which made me momentarily black out" so I couldn't see, and then I felt myself being dragged and then lifted before I felt a sharp pain and went entirely unconscious, and was told I wouldn't be able to act for Action 5." At this, Cyn seemed to be entirely drained of energy. "And, then... yeah. For the fifth hour, I don't think I did anything."

"Heehee, yeah! I made them yesterday when I was feeling a bit sad, but one of them turned out super duper good, so I gave it to that lady before she left last night as a gift."

"It also looked like someone was hitting a rock there with a sword? Right next to one of those glowy red runes."

Cynthia frowned, and raised her eyebrows in puzzlement. "In the Hideout? I mean, I had tried to hit some of the sigils in the Spider's Den yesterday with my sword, but they couldn't touch it, but I didn't try doing that with the ones in the Hideout."
