As the discussion of the trial reaches it's conclusion, everyone's gazes landed on Excel. The latter pushed his glasses up to his nose, the light obscuring his eyes- and thus, his expression.
...
There is silence as The Witch stares down the crowd. Tension can be felt in the air. Eventually, The Witch casually looks away, as if minding her own business.

"So. It seems we have found the one who carries the sins upon them. Whether it was by your own choice or not, I shall never know."
She then hums as the draws her tea cup to her lips, then looks straight back at everyone. There is a vaguely malicious glint behind her eyes. A certain glee behind her growing smile.
"You however, are forsaken. Your darkness will not stain this place any longer. Begone."
For there can only be one.
The area then begins to rumble. Everyone holds onto their podium as dark, shadowy wisps pour into the room, as if it was liquid darkness spawning from somewhere below. The shadows dance around the place like snakes before aiming towards one particular podium - Excel's. It rises, then looms behind him like a spawn of cloudy, grey smoke. Suddenly 4 pairs of arms, fitted with claws that could cut through diamonds lash out. They forcibly and swiftly grab Excel and drag him into the smoke. The smoke then decends back into the ground below.
Excelcution: Deletion Complete
The Witch conjures some telepathic orbs to show everyone what is to become of Excel. Perhaps it is a warning of sorts. Excel seems to have been dropped into a nearly empty room with a small lamp illuminating from overhead. Excel was placed in front of a desk which contains a computer and a stack of papers. He was then shown an instruction: "Key in these into the Excel Sheet by the end of the day. 6:00pm and no later." There is a digital clock on the wall, displaing the numbers "9:00am" Easy, right?
Excel then began his work, neatly and diligently following his instructions. Due to his expertise, he was quickly done with half the paper stack within 25 mintues. Piece of cake. As he stretches to take a break, suddenly the whole room illuminated with an even brigther light. It was filled with paperstacks to the brim. The dim light hid away the majority of the work! Realizing the predicament, Excel furiously began grabing stacks of paper from the corner of the room and entering them into his excel arcs. He truly had to strain himself as the time ticked on... and on... Soon enough, he was down to his last stack of papers with about 30 minutes to spare.
Excel managed to complete his challenge with but a mere minute to spare. He raises his fist slightly in silent, controlled triumph. However, as he began to save his work to upload it and clock out, he noticed that the data that he input into the sheet all began to delete one row after the other. Soon, the whole excel arc had returned to what it once was. Just a mere, blank slate. Looking up at the clock it shows 6pm. A sudden, loud toll of the bell to indicated that time was up. Excel began to look around in frantic anticipation, knowing what was coming...
And yet, nothing was happening. Excel lets out a small sigh. Whether it was out of relief or something else, no one will ever know.

He then stood up to adjust his glasses with his hand. The orb of perception that you all watch from, zoomed in onto Excel to show you that his hand unexpectedly became pixelated and faded away. The deletion process continued to his arms and then followed by his right hand and arm. Excel's mind seems to be working at a frantic pace. He looks around the room, but there is nothing in there that could stop his demise. Soon, his legs were deleted. Everything below his waist, his entire torso, shoulders... all the way up to his neck. The room was left with a single Excel head perched on a chair, with glasses still calmly obscuring his eyes.
...A minute passes in an awkward silence. And then, the last remnant of Excel is gone. The light dims back to as it was at the start of the execution. Excel's glasses remain spared of the deletion. The fall off the chair and clash down on the hardened concrete floor. The lens cracks at the impact and everything within the orb of perception goes black, forcing you all back into reality.
