Emistery
Alucard and Emi were walking down the boulevard of broken dreams. The former had had some trouble with Emi lately, with her repeatedly waking him up in the middle of the night. Talking to her never worked, so he was at his wits’ end.
That week had been particularly difficult. His mental state had deteriorated to the point he recalled some stupid advice a friend gave him once:
“With locked rooms, you are sure to solve all your problems!”
Having conveniently recalled those words, Alu decided to carry out a plan. He called his friend, who was very willing to help Alu with a locked room. As he spoke over the phone, he could not contain a grin as he looked at Emi. His problems would soon be no more.
Later that day, Emi would find herself dead inside a room.
The only window? The latch had been set from the inside.
The only door? The chain lock had been set from the inside.
The cause of death? A stab to the heart.
Objectives & How to play
Your objective is to figure out how Emi was put in this locked room scenario. To do this, you can ask questions or give theories/statements, like so:
1) You: “Did Emi die instantly?” // “When Emi was stabbed, she died instantly.”
2) You: "The room lacks an element such as a wall, floor or ceiling that allows to bypass both the door and window."
3) You: "Did Alu kill Emi?" // "Alu killed Emi."
I will then answer your question or confirm/refute your statement if it is right/wrong. Whatever I answer will always be true.
1) Me: "Emi died instantly due to the heart stab."
2) Me: "The only way that anything could possibly access the room is through the door or window."
3) Me: "Alu was indeed the one to kill poor Emi."
[These three responses are examples, but they are true.]
You can ask and state whatever you want (as long as it has to do with the game).
The person to solve the case with the fewest questions/statements will be declared the absolute winner of today. All others who solve it will just be winners.
[Note everything will be done in DMs.]
