After the explosion and a brief investigation, you all gather around the crater at the Campsite. A smell like burnt metal hangs in the air. You do a body count, Seteth is nowhere to be seen. This explosion wasn't some freak of nature, one of you must have killed a fellow Grifter, which is a death sentence in these parts. You eye each other warily and begin the tradition, a mini trial of course.
Trial Ends at 8 pm EST on Sunday! Good luck! Ask me for any questions.
TRUTH BULLETS
State of the Slurping Snail - The bar has been trashed, with broken tables, bottles, and chairs littering the floor. The bartender, Wrux, is missing and several posters for Vivy’s concert are on a couple walls.
Dead Assassin - An assassin lies dead in the dirt at the Murder Torch. He appears to have shot himself, yet strangely his gun is missing it’s magazine. There is some dirt covering the body but honestly not much. A “Magic Bullet” lies embedded in a rock several feet from the body.
Spree HQ - Nadan, the leader, is missing and several members were trapped in a cave-in at the nearby Partok Caves.
Spark Baron Offices - The vault has been broken into and a single cult artifact has been stolen. Aside from that nobody has been harmed.
Docks - The main salvaging company, the Lindhart Company, has been trashed, with a shipment of rare artifacts having been broken into by an “unknown figure”.
Tim’s Tendies - The slum-based store used to have a rat problem, but now makes chicken tendies with the help of the rats, like something out of Ratatouille. Business has boomed.
Smoldering Crater - A massive crater lies in the center of the Campsite. Whoever was caught in the explosion appears to have been completely vaporized, aside from a spear with a white hand gripping it laying at the edge of the hole. A Spark Baron badge lies hidden in the bushes a ways away from the crater.
Admiralty HQ - A concert has been held here, with a crowd of drunk people hanging out in the area. A hot air balloon is hanging off the HQ’s central spire, pierced by the pointy metal.
Missing Equipment - A few items of note have been snatched from the Scrap Forge’s poorly guarded armory, those items being:
- An axe head made of pure Edelrite
- Several Bylythium Sothiside Batteries
- An...Edelrite Toothbrush?

Innkeeper's Account - The innkeeper of the Grog n' Dog kept an account of when people checked out at A0, but not whom. According to her notes:
1 Person Left First
Followed by a group of 4
A short while later 3 others checked out
Then 1 final person left
{Loredump of Metal Usage}Loredump of metal usage, some helpful, some not.
In the future, some more elements had been discovered, and praised for their applicational usage.
Bylythium: A crystalline element, whose elemental symbol is "By". It has an atomic number of 139, and is the second heaviest halogen. Depending on how light refracts through it, it can appear lime-green or cyan-blue.
Bylythium Sothiside has common usage in larger batteries, where it can be found in sheets, along with Rheaic Acid. Pure Bylythium has also been known to be used inside of illegal "Magic Bullets'' as a gunpowder replacement. These bullets are used by assassins and mercenaries due to their longer range and higher piercing power. Due to how hot Bylythium can get, the temperature change for traditional lead bullets is too great and they often melt before reaching their target. To fix this issue, the bullet heads must be made from Tungsten and the casing must be made from Clauditrium. The bullets glow very brightly when fired, and travel at 0.0002c, hence earning the nickname, "Magic Bullets."
Magic bullets with Tungsten/Clauditrium bullet head/casing, on average, tend to travel a maximum of 5 miles before melting, whereas lead bullet heads can only travel around 500 feet before becoming slag.
Edelrite: A recent element discovered by asteroid mining. A shiny and reflective white metal, with the elemental symbol of "Ed". It has the atomic number of 131, making it a post-transition metal.
Edelrite when exposed to air is quick to form an Edelrite Oxide layer, however this does not weaken the metal, but rather forms a protecting strengthening layer, which does not shatter or break easily. However, Pure Edelrite can rust away rather quickly if it is exposed to water or electricity for too long, so for most applications, the alloy known as "Jeritzium" is made, and is a combination of Edelrite, Chromium, Carbon, Nickel, Sulfur, Neon and Hubertium.
Jeritzium finds common usage in construction as it's characteristics, however expensive they are, are perfect for construction and reinforcement.
Naturally, this means that Edelrite has found its way into weaponry too, as it's ability to be sharpened while maintaining structural integrity, and lightness is unmatched.
Important Notice: Whatever you do. Do NOT combine Edelrite and Bylythium. Although Edelrite Oxide is unreactive with Bylythium, should that Edelrite Oxide layer be removed, a violent exothermic reaction will occur, and a large explosion will soon follow. Edelrite Bylythoxide is a military-grade explosive, and is impossible to control. Even a small amount of this reaction is strong enough to badly injure, maim or kill someone.
