Yoshida raises up a hand, having something to say.
”Hey, this took a while to get, but I’ve got some info to share with you all. My card lets me ask the dead a question, so I asked about what their alibi for the night was. The middle part was a bit strange to hear, but I can’t really ask a follow-up question. Sorry about that.”
“The response I got was ‘Dining Hall, Tower of Worship, Chamber of Solace.’ That’s it.”
Mipha looks visibly frustrated and restless. Clearing her throat trying to get everyone's attention.
"Excuse my silence about this until now. I had hoped anyone else would've also preferred some concrete evidence backing up this critical information. Sadly, this did not seem to be the case, forcing me to speak up about this."
"Anyone can claim to have received a card helpful towards solving the crime. Yoshida simply says he "has a card that lets him ask the dead a question" and that's all that's needed for you people to believe him?"
Clearly showing she's upset by the impression people are this easy to trust people with information.
"Well I used to have a weird card. I think it was called the... Temperature? (Ow!) Temperance! It was The Temperance.
He pulls out a small card and holds it aloft, which glows with a similarly-hued light.
Yet through the power of my deduction (and this Justice is Blind ability I gathered from the Justice Card)
"Both the very adult man and the fancy detective have actually shown us or given us more information than just saying they simply own a card that allows them to do something."
"I know for a fact that Yoshida is lying about his card ability. My card allows me to make this claim with certainty. Before anyone asks, the answer is no, I do not feel comfortable going into detail about my card ability for now. If me saying this makes you doubt my words, then you should also doubt Yoshida's words as he hasn't given any of you proper information about his card either. Or is my word somehow worth less than his?"
Mipha shakes her head.
"Honestly I don't even want to know if the latter is the case. It already seems people prefer to trust some people's words over the others."
She looks over at Excel after he had asked Mipha this question, showing a hint of annoyance at the thought her words were somehow less trustworthy than a man providing information with no evidence.
"Mipha, you said you were in the Main Hall in A2 and A3. Would you be able to list the people you saw pass by in the order it happened - and if anyone was with you till the end of those actions?"
"During A2 I had left the Dining Hall and headed towards the Main Hall where I sat down on the couch. From there I first saw Hisoka walking towards the Dining Hall. Then I saw Mydi-Enn and Jafar walking towards the Hall of Four. After that Spelly had entered the Main Hall and emptied a bucket of water, making the floor slippery. But Battler and Ranranru seemed to not be bothered by this and simply walked by. Lastly Hanna passed the Main Hall on her way to the Hall of Four, but she was not immune to the slippery floor. I spent my time here talking to Spelly."
"Because of the slippery floor, I didn't feel safe to move around a lot hence me staying in the Main Hall for A3. I was intrigued by the armor knights, one had been missing it's sword when I entered during A2. Spelly had taken the remaining sword when we were talking. So, while I was investigating when this armor knight had it's sword stolen I was not looking in the direction of the doors. I did not see anyone leaving or passing through during this time. But I did notice Satan and Vaellin entering. It was hard not to have, the two were absolutely soaked. They had both stayed, trying to warm themselves up by the fireplace. The Observer had blessed us with his presence for a bit as well during that time. We talked about the predicament Vaellin and Satan had found themselves in earlier."
"Oh my....Ms. Gold was it? I heard from the Observer of your risqué conduct in one of the rooms...mind letting us know?"
Her eyes open widely and sticking her finger up, as if she's been wanting to bring it up earlier but forgetting about it after other matters popped up.
"Ah, yes that reminds me."
Mipha turns to Hanna.
"I had heard about this from the Duke himself actually. Although he was kind enough to not mention any names, it doesn't take much to figure out who it had been, Hanna. Considering you had told me yourself that you had angered a God and was forced to run away."
She chuckles.
"To think a God would be fancied so easily... It is so naive, I can't help but think it's adorable at this point, Buttercup. You'll have to enlighten me now or later on how you had actually thought to make it work. Perhaps I may be able to learn a thing or two."
