“The response I got was ‘Dining Hall, Tower of Worship, Chamber of Solace.’ That’s it.”

Mipha looks visibly frustrated and restless. Clearing her throat trying to get everyone's attention.

"Excuse my silence about this until now. I had hoped anyone else would've also preferred some concrete evidence backing up this critical information. Sadly, this did not seem to be the case, forcing me to speak up about this."

"Anyone can claim to have received a card helpful towards solving the crime. Yoshida simply says he "has a card that lets him ask the dead a question" and that's all that's needed for you people to believe him?"

Clearly showing she's upset by the impression people are this easy to trust people with information.

Before anyone asks, the answer is no, I do not feel comfortable going into detail about my card ability for now. If me saying this makes you doubt my words, then you should also doubt Yoshida's words as he hasn't given any of you proper information about his card either. Mipha shakes her head.

"Honestly I don't even want to know if the latter is the case. It already seems people prefer to trust some people's words over the others."

She looks over at Excel after he had asked Mipha this question, showing a hint of annoyance at the thought her words were somehow less trustworthy than a man providing information with no evidence.

"Yes, I have no problems telling what I've seen."

"During A2 I had left the Dining Hall and headed towards the Main Hall where I sat down on the couch. From there I first saw Hisoka walking towards the Dining Hall. Then I saw Mydi-Enn and Jafar walking towards the Hall of Four. After that Spelly had entered the Main Hall and emptied a bucket of water, making the floor slippery. But Battler and Ranranru seemed to not be bothered by this and simply walked by. Lastly Hanna passed the Main Hall on her way to the Hall of Four, but she was not immune to the slippery floor. I spent my time here talking to Spelly."

"Because of the slippery floor, I didn't feel safe to move around a lot hence me staying in the Main Hall for A3. I was intrigued by the armor knights, one had been missing it's sword when I entered during A2. Spelly had taken the remaining sword when we were talking. So, while I was investigating when this armor knight had it's sword stolen I was not looking in the direction of the doors. I did not see anyone leaving or passing through during this time. But I did notice Satan and Vaellin entering. It was hard not to have, the two were absolutely soaked. They had both stayed, trying to warm themselves up by the fireplace. The Observer had blessed us with his presence for a bit as well during that time. We talked about the predicament Vaellin and Satan had found themselves in earlier."

Mipha turns to Hanna.

"I had heard about this from the Duke himself actually. Although he was kind enough to not mention any names, it doesn't take much to figure out who it had been, Hanna. Considering you had told me yourself that you had angered a God and was forced to run away."

She chuckles.

"To think a God would be fancied so easily... It is so naive, I can't help but think it's adorable at this point, Buttercup. You'll have to enlighten me now or later on how you had actually thought to make it work. Perhaps I may be able to learn a thing or two."

"The Chamber of Solace was incredibly dark, so it's not too hard to believe that someone wouldn't have seen it. But Battler alone found it. Why? Because he didn't need to 'find' the body in the dark. Mipha looks at the judge. The smug grin she had before, fading away quite a bit.

"I'm sorry sir, but that's not what I implied. What I meant is that her thinking a God is that easy to impress is quite naive. One would have to do way more to impress a God and even more than that to get them romantically interested. That being said, I do think she deserves to be treated with more respect. She is not just a plaything, sir."

Her grin had completely faded away, and all that was left was a very uncomfortable looking fishperson.

"I really had hoped to not have to say this, but I guess I'm forced to..."

Mipha puts her hand under the sash she's been wearing and pulls a card up for everyone to see. Looking away, ashamed:

"This card... It's The Star... It's ability "An Interview with A Spirit" allows me to ask the deceased one question during the entire trial to gain an insight...This is why I'm convinced Yoshida is lying about the card he has, why I want him to state it's name and ability."

"If he would say different names, it'd prove to me he has been lying and the information he's given is most likely not something we should rely on too much. Even when there's a card that lets a person copy another card's ability, there's always the chance they would only be informed about the ability's effects and not it's name or the card it originated from..."

"The reason I didn't say any of this initially is because... I don't want to be forced to waste this one question I'm allowed to ask the deceased simply to double-check his claim. I feel there may be something much more important we can use it for later on when we have a more clear idea of what has happened... When it can be the answer we need to tie everything together instead of giving us a vague idea... We have plenty of those already we'd need to talk about first..."

"Hmm... My alibi... (A1) I went to the Kitchen with Oracle , right after grabbing some snacks from the Dining Hall. There's a lot of food ingredients, a big fridge and freezer and kitchen utensils. A group of people entered the Kitchen. Then I went towards the entrance of the basement which is now easily found. It's very dark beyond the basement stairs . But there seems to be only one torch left. There are no footprints that indicate that other's been here but I heared sound of water someone there.

(A2) I left the basement and head up to the Kitchen, grabbing a spatula, noticing Hanna making something and Joe is standing near the oven. While heading the Merchant Room, I meet with Mydi-Enn and Battler inside. After a while Hanna walks in with a jar and a frying pan then speaks to the Duke. I feel a little suspicious with the others in the room. My brain tingles.... at thee feeling.

(A3) I left the Merchant Room with Battler and Hanna, The two of them continued into the Main Hall. I noticed Storm was there looking at the statue. While examining them closely suddenly a loud crash was heard and I saw Jafar has smashed one of the statues to smithereens and continues breaking the other one. What the kuma is he doing???, then a laughter echoing is heard inside the hall.

(A4) I hide behind the column and then when Storm left, I tried to knock Jafar out with my hand. To stop him from destroying anymore statues. However, he suddenly took a side step and facepalm me right in the face. I saw that Munnin, Mydi-Enn, Ms. Satan, Mipha and Junpei noticed the whole thing. I'm so embareseeed. Just then Hanna enters holding a harmonica in her mouth.Then you noticed Battler walking in and began to circle around the statue mumbling a lot of things. Then  Ms. Satan seems to try breaking the statues that are remaining in the Hall.

(A5) I stayed in the Hall and stared down at Jafar while most of the people left then noticed Junpei , Cloak and Mydi-Enn were the only people that remained. Ms. Satan gets punch in the face by Battler before the latter ran off. After a while Excel walked past into the hall that led to the Tower of Worship while Jane stopped and looked around the place and Mipha entered the Merchant room. Yoshida and Satorae enter, the former looks shocked at the scene while Satorae seems to try her mask on the remaining statues".

Yoshida turns to Mipha, his right-side podium neighbor.

”You’re right, Mipha. It shouldn’t be that simple to trust someone’s information in this kind of situation with no one else to confirm its validity. I understand your frustration over it, and I’m sorry I didn’t notice it sooner.”

He goes back to facing the others and pulls out a card from his bracelet or wherever the cards are supposed to be kept before tucking it away again.

”That’s the Star card. I also told Hisoka and Kyuku about my card’s title during Action 1. I’ve told you all the truth about what it does and the information I received from it.

Yoshida thinks of what to say to Mipha, then returns to facing her.

”It seems like you and I have the same card, so I’ll tell you our reverse card ability is called A Shining Star. Does this gain your trust that my information is genuine?”

Kuruguru nods, "He did indeed say that he had the Star back when we discussed it. We were even discussing something along these lines, wondering if there would be minor arcana or duplicates."

  Hisoka's eyes slide thinner at the sound of that. He even nods after Kyuku's reply and adds.
  "Yoshida told us the name of his tarot card is The Star, that's true. But he never mentioned the skills that come with it."♠


  Hisoka takes out the card deck and starts flipping it arounf while talking visibly annoyed. The cards seem less in number than usual in his hands as he's flipping them

  "I started the night at the Kitchen.

  On A1 we left the Kitchen with Yoshida as a group of people entered. We both went to Merchant's Room. There we noticed Kyuku looking around. I was interested in the way to enter the Tower of Worship so I asked the Duke about it. The Duke said I need 4 masks to open it and it had something to do about the puzzle at the Hall of Four, which Yoshida asked about."♣

  At the beginning of A2 I left a 3 of clubs card from my standant 52-card deck on the floor and I left the room together with Yoshida and Kyuku. On the way to teh Hall of Four I saw Pogokuma, Storm and Munnin and in the Main Hall I notcied SpellCraft dropping a bucket of water. I headed for the Kitchen where I saw Joe eating something inside as I made my way down the stairs. The path was dark so I picked up a torch off the wall and walked until I reached the flooded Tasting room. While I was searching for masks I heard sploshing and saw Vaellin and Satan coming in. Satan wanted to taste the wine when suddenly the doors slamed shut, the barrels started exploding and the water level begun rising by the minute. I'll spare you the trivial puzzle to escape the death trap.♣

  At the beginning of A3 I dropped an ace of clubs on the table of the Tasting Room and left with Satan and Veallin towards the Chamber of Solace. We saw Satorae and Rudy coming towards us and we passed by each other who were moving towards the direction we were coming from. We then split up, they moved on while I stayed in the Chamber of Solace to look aroud for masks. I was finding myself on dead ends due to the massive space in there so I was leaving cards once in a while in order not to get lost in there, which didn't really work since it's full of water. At some point I gave up and stayed in placed trying to fix my wet cards when I heard some sploshing echoing from the darkness. I didn't bother to look as it stopped fairly quickly.♣

  At A4 I slowly to found my way to the Special Chamber where I saw Joe cheering a couple up before he left. Alistar and Clover came in after me. Clover was looking for the Wizard of Oz and her brother at the same time and Alistar was rummaging through the furniture of the room.♣

  At A5 I stayed in the Special Chamber from which Alistar and Clover left as soon as SpellCraft entered snooping around. I left a queen of hearts in the Special Chamber upon leaving the room at the body announcement."♣

  Hisoka puts away his card deck and places his hands on his waist.

  "There you have it. Every little detail of my night.
  I have to point out how I never noticed Joe pass through neither the Tasting Room or the Chamber of Solace to end up in the Special Chamber. Teleportation tarot skill? Maybe."♦

She then turns to Yoshida.

Yoshida nods at Clover.

”Sure. My night started by going to the Merchant’s Room with Hisoka and Kyuku. The three of us read the scroll inside the ball maze puzzle there with some information on the Observer. That’s also where I learned about the puzzle in the Hall of Four, and I told others about the puzzle as I came across them for the rest of the night. Hisoka and I agreed to split our search so that he’d take the Basement and I’d take the Ground Floor.”

“After that, I went to the Opera House with Kyuku. We passed a few people on the way there: Pogokuma, Muninn, Storm, and Spell Craft. Jane and Kyuku were with me in the Opera House for Action 2.”

“At Action 3, I tried to explore the Courtyard next, but something weird happened. The three of us left the Opera Hall, and I saw Takiji and Spell Craft enter. Then I saw a flash of light and got hit on the head, blacked out. When I came to, Hanna had already pulled me back into the Opera Hall, and I spent Action 3 with her and Spell Craft.”

“I had to stay in the Opera Hall a while longer to recover for Action 4. Hanna and Spell Craft has left, and Oracle and Satorae were here in their place. To be more precise, Oracle entered normally, and Satorae materialized in the middle of the room wearing a kitchen pot, pot lid, and mask as armor.”

“Satorae and I left the Opera Hall to go to the Hall of Four and test her mask on the statues for the final action. We passed by Kyuku and Snake on the way there. And the other people inside the Hall of Four with us were Jafar, Ruru, Junpei, Cloak, Midi-Enn, and Jane.”



“That about covers my alibi. I’m still not sure on what kind of card ability could knock me out like that, but it might not even be relevant to our trial.”

Clover looks lost in thought, almost as if she's making, oh I don't know, a spreadsheet in her mind.

"All right... There are some people who haven't really spoken up about their nights, or maybe I just want a bit of clarification. I would like to know about people's whereabouts during Actions 3 and 4. The people I want to know about... um...

"Yoshino, Herlock, Takiji, Pogokuma, and Jane. If you could please tell me about your A3-A4 that would be great~~"
