The mentioning of a killing game had frozen Hanna with fright. After calming herself out of it, she looked at the gods and asked
"I'm sorry, but, you aren't serious, right?"
"This is just some kind of joke... right?"
Coming to the realisation that they maybe weren't joking, she turned to the group of people around her
"How... how are you all okay with this? Throwing away your lives on a whim because some gods told you to? This is unbelievable!"
"Are we not among DRG Lands best in our own fields? And these gods wish for us to die, to decide some trivial matter between themselves?!"
She moves away from the gods, rather panicked
"This is-"
She falls over, tripping on her own feet
"This is... insanity!"

"It's not a joke," Excel says very dryly. "And the sooner you accept the reality of the situation, the better. That reality is, we don't have the right to resist our dear rulers' commandments nor the means to leave this place anymore. All we can do is go along with their plans. If you do not have the heart to make your wish come true by whatever means necessary, you might as well throw away your ambitions and serve as a stepping stone for the rest of us."
Sholmes is halfway through his third slice of pie when this "Killing Game" news finally hits his ears. Oh dear these gods seem serious. He eyes glance from Excel to the rather...excitable Satorae. He whispers rather loudly to Excel, his usual jovial expression turned much more serious.
"Keep your eyes on those who seem a tad too devoted my good man. Those girls chattering over there might just start slaying if the good Witch looks their way. Keep your wits about you, and I shall mine."
Sholmes raises his voice, turning to the gaggle of Gods gallivanting over yonder, and asks.
"Surely this game can't possibly take place in a small room such as this? Seems a bit too...simple, no? If I may be so bold...you have a more appropriate venue in store, don't you?"
"I too, would be interested in learning of the venue beforehand, so we can make... preparations."
