"With the information we have now, we should be able to make further deductions on how the blackened acted. First, I believe Makoto had to know about meeting with Sayaka by A4 or earlier. Byakuya's testimony that Makoto asked him about 'wooing' Sayaka at A4 means that he already had plans to romance with her at that point.
Next, the origin of the paper used to write the love letters is nowhere to be found. However, the Art Storage being reduced to ash is the only truth bullet that hints at paper. This most likely means that the killer wrote the letters in the Art Storage, at the same time they were setting up the fire to go off.
Combining these two deductions, informing Makoto of the meeting and writing the letters at the Art Storage, here is one possibility I can imagine for the blackened's actions. If Makoto received the letter to learn about the meeting, then the killer’s actions would most likely be A1 at the Cafeteria to take my ballpoint pen, A2 at the Chem Lab retrieving the bunsen burner, A3 at the Art Storage writing the letters and preparing the fire, and A4 with Makoto delivering the love letter from Sayaka.
If this is the case, then the person who met with Makoto at A4 is the true blackened, the other Byakuya. He would just have to kill Makoto during A5 in the Headmaster's Office and let Sayaka discover the body A6.
The other possibility I can think of is if Makoto was not informed of the meeting by letter. In other words, he heard it by word of mouth, and the love letter was made afterwards and planted as a red herring. In this case, the killer's actions would be A1 at the Cafeteria to take my ballpoint pen, A2 informing Makoto of the meeting, A3 at the Chem Lab retrieving the bunsen burner, and A4 at the Art Storage writing the letters and setting up the fire.
This would mean the person who met with Makoto at A2, Sayaka, is the blackened, and she killed him during A6 for their meeting. What do you all think of these two possible outcomes?"
