{Ok but like really what actually happened}Early in the morning, Rin went to Kinzo's Study, and retrieved one of his ritual daggers; or rather, its sheathe. He lined it with a small plastic bag, filled it with water, and put it in the back of the Kitchen's freezer, forming an ice knife. He then directed everyone to have sandwiches for lunch, minimizing the risk of it being discovered.
Later, just before 5, Ange, Reiko, and Gonta had been working in the Rose Garden, and had made plans to make a cake. A few minutes before they all went inside, Ange claimed that she needed to use the bathroom, so she could get away early. She went up to Kinzo's Study, retrieved a rope, and brought it back down to the Garden (while Reiko and Gonta were inside washing up), where she retrieved some bugs, a rose petal, and a small rock. She brought these things to the Chapel. Inside, she threw the rope up over some ceiling beams, tied one end to the heavy urn, used the leverage to lift the urn out of sight, and tied the other end to a pew. Finally, she placed the rose and the bugs in the middle of the pew aisle, underneath the urn. She then went to the Kitchen, where Reiko and Gonta had already been for a few minutes.
At about the same time, Hatsuharu was heading up to Kinzo's Study. He had previously asked Ruby to meet him on the Balcony, as he had "some juicy gossip" for the Narc.
Hatsuharu pushed the large couch against the door to Kinzo's Study, making sure no one could enter. After waiting until closer to his allotted time with Ruby, he readied the remaining two coils of rope from his Storage. He anchored the first coil in the room, hung it out the window overlooking the Rose Garden, and used it to climb down to the Balcony.
While this was going on, Ange and Gonta were leaving the Kitchen. When they stepped out, Ange told Gonta about the bugs in the Chapel, directing him to go there. When they arrived, and while Gonta was low to the ground distracted with bugs, Ange attacked his face, including hurting his eye, to get him into the perfect position to drop the hung urn onto his head. Then, she began setting up her locked room, which took awhile to make work.
While Ange was playing around with locked rooms, Ruby was heading to the Balcony. When she arrived, Hatsuharu attacked her from behind, including pressing her eye in. Hatsuharu then used the second rope he had to strangle Ruby, and then hang her from the balcony. After that was complete, he locked the Balcony pre-room from inside with the chain lock, then climbed back up to Kinzo's Study.
Back up a little bit. Rin had made plans to kill Guacamole in Kinzo's Study. She asked him to come there, where she would stab him with the ice knife. Rin went to the Kitchen to retrieve the knife, then headed upstairs. However, the door Kinzo's Study was blocked via the couch, something that 5 people discovered when they tried to open it (first Karma and Kaelynn, then Max, then Guacamole, and finally Rin). When Guacamole found the door locked, he felt dread, and ran away to another room; the Honoured Guest Room, where he found Max eating a popsicle with a second one in hand.
When Rin found the door locked after that, he thought someone found out about his plan. He ran to the Storage Room across the hall (which is basically a janitorial closet), and hid for about 10 minutes. After waiting that long, he peeked out, and saw someone head into Kinzo's Study. He followed.
Rin walked in and witnessed Max stabbing Hatsuharu in the eye with a broken popsicle stick, and then push him out the window overlooking the Rose Garden.
Max had previously wandered into the Kitchen and grabbed two popsicles; he started eating one and kept the other in his hand. He then headed to Kinzo's Study, but found it locked, and went to the Honoured Guests Room, where Guacamole later saw him.
Max then went back to Kinzo's Study, where Hatsuharu had now unblocked the door, and was double-checking his work at the window. Max quietly walked up to him, broke his popsicle stick in half, and stabbed Hatsuharu in the left eye with it, before pushing him to his death out the window. He then ate the murder stick, and put the second half in his mouth to eat, when Rin stabbed him repeatedly with her ice knife, furious at Hatsuharu's death. She made certain to stab his left eye, and then push him out a window, just as he had just done to Haru. She spent the remainder of the time before Hatsuharu's body was found closing and locking the windows and cleaning herself up. She also left the ice knife in Max's blood, where it melted.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Ange was finishing up her locked room trick. She tied one end of the rope to the rock, the other end to Gonta's neck, and weaved it around pillars and ceiling beams and nooks and such in the Chapel to stretch it to its limit. She arranged everything in such a way that when and only when the door handle was turned, the rock would be free to move, hit the loose bar causing it to fall into place, and also allow Gonta to from his precariously balanced position on the pew he was on, causing the rope to follow him and land on top of him. The entire thing took just over half an hour to execute, including failed attempts. When she successfully left the Chapel through the door without turning the handle, she got back to the Kitchen only just before the cake had finished baking.
Of course, what Ange hadn't planned was that Karma would be such a prankster. Just after the cake was taken out by Reiko, Karma threw some water at Reiko. This pissed Reiko off, and she grabbed a nearby pan and started swinging it. She hit the oven door while doing this, damaging the tempered glass. Reiko then cut a piece of cake for Ange, leaving the knife on the same table as the slice of cake, set the oven to self clean, and left to clean herself off.
Ange, having been in the large, unheated Chapel, stayed in the Kitchen in front of the warming oven. When she heard Kaelynn scream as she found Hatsuharu's body, she decided to stay put, assuming that it was her work, and having a plan to keep playing the innocent good girl. However, shortly after, the self-cleaning oven with a cracked glass door exploded into Ange, including her left eye. She stumbled backwards, pulled the tablecloth with her cake and the knife off, and the knife coincidentally happened to stab her straight down the chest.
