"I suppose I should discuss my night, as well, just so that no one can suggest that I might be suspicious." Merlin takes a very long time to clear his throat, then strokes his magnificent beard and begins the story.
"A0: I left the mayor's house with a large group of people and we all split off into smaller groups. I walked towards the forest with Thomas and 410, who I gather are mother and son. A stranger duo I never saw! Except for a lovely pair of hippies that I met a few decades back, who introduced me to a number of miracle herbs that allowed me to see the future. If only I could remember ... but never mind. What was I saying? Oh, yes, that was when I went to the graveyard. I've told you all about that.
"A1: I went to the pawnshop to do some shopping. I always find something great at pawnshops and thrift shops, like that bright blue sequined jacket I wore for almost twenty years straight. Anyway, this pawnshop was a disaster. If I find out who made that mess, I'm reporting you as a vandal just because you ruined my shopping trip.
"A2: I went to the diner to drink some tea, and also because I heard there was an old lady running it and I thought someone might help me handle all these whippersnappers. Unfortunately, she had to be about half my age, so there was no way we'd have anything in common. She made a good tea, though. I saw Little Red and Thomas there, both with appalling table manners.
"A3: I decided to put on an impromptu magic show for the other people in the diner. My card tricks used to be a big hit when I was young. My mother in particular would cry when she got the honour of witnessing my talents. That irritating red boy jeered and walked out of the show, very rudely. Thomas, however, loved my act. I had him begging for an encore.
"A4: I went to the harbor to see the beautiful ocean once again. It was very quiet up there. Donny was doing some fishing, but otherwise it was very serene. You know, ocean air extends your life, not that that matters to me because I'm immortal anyway.
"A5: Donny and I had a fascinating little chat before I went to the library. There, I found Zelena and Kyrie throwing books at one another like fools. This is why I later chose to investigate the library, you see, because it seemed suspicious that they would vandalize a library for no reason. I thought one of them may have been covering up a crime, but it seems that the only crime committed here was these girls being criminally stupid. I would have berated them, but I heard a shout from behind the building.
"A6: I saw Rapunzel attack Zelena as I left, though Zelena seemed capable to defend herself. Kyrie approached me to talk, but I was more focused on the voice I heard. The only person I saw was Kokoro, who seemed perfectly fine. I checked the hospital, but I only saw one patient there. Would anyone like to explain the voice I heard?"
