Game 97: Rules

[Tetsu]

General 

- DON’T post if you’re not signed up for the game. 

- MULTI-ACCOUNT is prohibited. 

- Multi-posting is allowed but keep it to a minimal. 

- In this game only you can create alliances, but if the blackened wins, you won’t receive anything, but also beware of being backstabbed by the blackened themselves. 

- Do know the limit of roleplaying, everyone has different rate of tolerance, hence moderation is the key. 

- If you’ve died first last game, you will not be First Blood, but this doesn’t mean you won’t be lynch during trial or become blackened. This applies for new members as well, if this is your first game. 

- DO NOT screenshot your investigation, if found out, you will be given a warning, copy and pasting to a certain extent is still fine. 

- DO NOT METAGAME. Do not reveal information to others who are not supposed to know about it. Such as revealing your night actions to others. Only share it in the appropriate section, i.e. TRIAL. 

- If you’ve sign up, DO NOT go inactive. If you feel you will be inactive sometime during the game, have the decency to inform the host. Failure to do so, will lead to a warning. 

- To be consider active AT LEAST THREE (3) Nightly Actions to be submitted and ONE (1) post per thread would grant you minimal participation. 

Daily Life 

- This is purely for Roleplay and character introductions of sorts 

- It will last 48-72 hours. 

- Players will get to apply to be blackened during this phase, if no blackened signed up for the FIRST 24 hours, RNG will come into play. 

- Maps will be up during this phase as well. 

- Private conversations between characters is discourage but allowed. However, do inform the host and get them into the loop 

Nightly Life 

- There will be 6 actions including an Action 0 and blackened has an additional action if needed (Action 7) 

- The goal here is to survive the night, look for clues, set traps or even make some intimate connections 

- Actions will be done through Forums unless with good reason, Discord will do. 

- There could be plot lying around the area, if you look hard enough 

- Nightly will come to an end if a Body Discovery has been triggered. At least 3 person needs to find it before it can be triggered, blackened included.

 

Deadly Life 

- A report will be triggered during this phase, which details everything related to the victim and their death. 

- You will have 24 hours to send in the places you want to investigate. 

- Investigation cost Story Points. Everyone will start off with 2 points. 

- Points can be spent as such; 2 points for an in-depth (full room description) or 1 point for a scan (simple room description), through Forum PM. 

- DO NOT speak of your night actions with anyone. 

Trial 

- All living players will discuss about the deceased and who you think have killed them.  

- This will last 48 hours; the first 12 hours can still be use to clarify the results.  

- An extension will be granted with a minimum of six (6) person agreeing. 

- If there are two deaths, you must determine which one them is committed first and find the respective blackened. 

- Searching of players are not allowed, description of players will be provided if required. 

- Everyone has to vote for the trial to end. Players who don’t vote, will received a penalty of sorts. 
- You may use a lifeline only once. However, all players MUST agree to one question to be asked unanimously.

Results 

- The players with the most votes is punished 

- If there is a tie, an extension of 12 hours will be given to fully finalized which of which is the blackened. 

- The highest voted player’s role will be reveal. If you voted wrong, a punishment may incur 

- Game will last 3 to 4 rounds if activity permits. 

Misc/Others 

- Blackened must kill, if not they will be punished. 

- Transferring of blackened role is allowed during the Daily Phase (only if RNG’ed)
