As Ruah is currently unavailable, Bayleef's investigation results and Nightly activities will be provided here.
Beach
Many sets of footprints on the beach can be identified. In fact, only four Pokémon's footprints can't be seen: Mimikyu, Eternatus, Slaking, and Ditto. Eternatus and Ditto, however, don't have visible footprints to begin with, so theirs aren't any surprise. A pair a messages have been written in the sand, but the tide has unfortunately muddled and obscured whatever was originally written, making them illegible. Near the entrance to Beach Cave, a small bouquet of flowers has been laid before the flattened corpse of a Pokémon not from this group of apprentices.
Guild Entrance (Exterior)
The only odd feature of the guild entrance exterior is a pair of large wooden logs, which have been lazily dropped in front of the entrance tent, one partially covering up the entrance. From the drag marks, one can easily discern they were brought up the stairs manually.
Nightly Synopsis
Action 1: Samurott, Eternatus, and I were the last ones in the guildhouse, so I gave them some of my special secret-recipe cake. Judging by how much Eternatus was thrashing about and gagging, I think they liked it.
Action 2: Samurott had to leave to do something important. I realized Eternatus must not have very many friends, so I decided to play tennis with them as a bonding experience. I used an egg as a tennis ball, and got egg goo all over them.
Action 3: I wanted to look for someone who had a move that could help clean up the egg mess, and I figured Samurott or Arcanine would be perfect. I heard Arcanine's howl from the beach, and used the Chimecho Assembly to warp to the crossroads, where I found Nincada.
Action 4: I chatted with Nincada about my night, and he told me about some logs moving on their own. That's when I heard the explosion.
Action 5: I met up with Espurr by Tent G and we went to the beach together. There was bad-smelling grey smoke. Samurott and Ditto left just as we arrived, and Arcanine was there too.
Action 6: Arcanine left. Espurr, Sandshrew, and I started looking for the source of the explosion, and I asked if anyone knew anything. Samurott explained what happened and then helped Slakoth look for his dad. Espurr took me to the wall that is now a cave, and showed me a dead body. I didn't enjoy the experience.
