Class Trial 25: Non-Stop Debate

*Masuno pulls out a piece of paper as he sits on his throne, overlooking the participants of the Class Trial. He clears his throat, and begins to read off of it, in a voice mimicking Monokuma.*


"Let's begin with a basic explanation of the class trial! So, your votes will determine the results. If you can figure out "whodunnit" then only they will receive punishment. But if you pick the wrong one... Then I'll punish everyone *besides* the blackened, and the one that deceived everyone else will graduate!"


*Masuno crumples the paper into a little ball, and tosses it behind him, returning to his normal voice.*


"Blah, blah, blah. You get the points. Begin, and figure out the killer. I don't care if you do or don't, it's been a while since I've used my weapon anyways. So, get to it. Chop, chop."

This class trial will be using the new rules for the class trial. You will get a period of 48 hours to discuss, which is called the Non-Stop Debate. Extensions may be granted towards the end if the discussion is still heated and going, and everyone seems to agree that they have not reached the proper conclusion yet and votes to continue the discussion. After the 48-hour period has passed, a poll will be opened for all to vote for 24 hours, after which, the results and execution will be posted.

What? Nothing happened until now? Then let's get this started.<br><br>My day started around 7 AM. Walking aound, I meet BoyM4st3r, who stops you for a moment. He asks me to help him cooking for a pool party he is planning to hold, to which I agree. He tells you to meet him at the Kitchen at around 2:30. I then continue on to the Library at about noon where you find Jurie, who invites me to play a game of Five-Card Draw. We play for a <br>while, until 2 PM, where I go to the kitchen and help cook for the pool party. After I arrive, I and Boymaster start cooking various things, such as turkey and ham (I am proud to announce that I was the slightly better chef out of us two). We take the food out to the students, but two people were missing. Jurie says that Seadrias had decided to skip out, and go to his room, and Lloyd <br>was in the middle of some very intense game at the VR room. I shrug it off and decide to eat. Everyone starts to fall asleep, I being one of the last, but as my head hits the table, I see someone standing up, but  couldn't figure out who in the daze. I then lose my consciousness. After about an hour passes, I wake up to Kuroyukihime and BoyM4st3r rapidly shaking my shoulder. I notice that out of everybody that showed up, Jurie was no longer there. After call this fact out, everybody seems to panic. I walk off, and the others follow, calling out to various rooms for Jurie. Not being able to find her, we were about to go up to the second, when Lloyd Bannings steps out of the VR room and asks about the commotion. Kuroyukihime explains that Jurie was missing, and so Lloyd joins with us. After we go up to the next floor, I see something happening behind the door to the Pool, and rush in, where I find Jurie, who seems to be in a horrible state, covered in blood, and coughing up blood. Then, Lloyd points something out to me. Floating in the pool was the body of Seadrias.<br>  <br>Looking at the body, I notice one knife in Seas chest, as well as some conspicuous bruises on his knuckles that were evident after the body was out of the water that looked like he was struggeling and fighting something.<br><br>My investigation was in the kitchen. I was looking for the drugs used to make us fall asleept. I did not find any discarded bottles of drugs, however, I notice that one knife is missing which was there before and remember that, until during the time everybody was eating, which is we felt aslept, nobody but me and Boy ever entered the kitchen. However, that does not exclude the possibility that someone went there and took it after that.<br><br>Waiting for someone else to tell their story before pointing fingers.

Righto, I've been away for far too long, and I'm pretty hungry, so let's get this show on the road and get vengeance for both Sea and Jurie, as well as keep myself from dying of hunger. First off, I'd like to apologise. I was getting into a rather fantastic game called Zero no Kiseki, such a great game, courtesy of Masuno. The protagonist of it looks exactly like I do, too! Isn't that strange?
I would've loved to continue with it, but... this kinda spoils the mood I had for it.


I got to take a look at the body, and I did discover a few notable things. One, Sea most likely was fighting before he died. This is due to some bruising on his knuckles. Sounds about right, Sea definitely wouldn't go down without a fight. The other notable thing is that the stab wound came from below so to speak, and it appeared to be hastily made, so we can assume that someone had possibly charged him. It may have been a last ditch effort to kill him after their fight, seeing as bruised knuckles does mean he hit something.

I had assumed that most people would decide to check Jurie's room, Sea's room as well as the Pool, so I decided to check out both the Nurse's Office as well as the Kitchen. My reasoning behind these rooms was because Jurie was covered in blood and supposedly coughing up blood, and Sea was found dead with a knife wound in his chest.

I wanted to see if any form of anesthetic was used to incapacitate either Jurie or Sea, and I also weighed my options when it came to what to check between the Kitchen and the Dining Room. I assumed that the Dining Room wouldn't contain many blunt objects capable of wounding Jurie or Sea other than a broken chair leg or plate, but I believe we would've noticed plate shards or potentially some splinters if someone beat either of them with those. So if somebody examined the pool and found anything of the sort, by all means, do let us know. 

My investigation of the Nurse's Office did indeed yield something useful. While for the most part everything appeared to be in place, there were two bottles of sleeping pills missing. I think we can imagine what those were used for. 

The Kitchen on the other hand was missing a knife, which was most likely the knife used to kill Sea. Oddly enough, it looks like tons of food was missing, did you guys have a dinner party or something? I wanted something to eat, too, but here we have this trial instead of dinner. I just might fall over and die of starvation at this rate! 

If you guys wanted to know how the rest of my day went, I woke up at approximately 7 AM to find a gift from Masuno, the aforementioned Zero no Kiseki. Afterwards, I went to grab a bite at the Dining Hall, and I noticed that both Sea and Alterego were MIA. I didn't think too much of it though, I know Sea likes his privacy, and perhaps Alterego does as well. At about 11:30 AM, we said our goodbyes to the other group, which I assume contained Boy, Kuro and Jurie as I was with Akira and Siren. I then left the two so I could check out that gift from Masuno, as the package had a note on it telling me not to open it up until I got to the VR Room. I basically played as much of the game as I could. Afterwards, I heard you guys making quite a bit of noise and figured I'd check it out, only to hear that Jurie went missing. So naturally, I went along with everybody else, and it looks like Alter's 6th sense alerted him to check the Pool out. There we found Jurie in pretty poor condition, and somehow although nobody else noticed this, Sea's corpse was floating right there in the pool. Afterwards, I assume the rest of you know about how Jurie's key was missing and how her room was opened for investigation. 

That's the sum of my day. How did everybody else's day go?

I woke up at around 7 AM, and went to the Dining Hall after getting ready for the day. Once there, I spoke with everyone that was there except Seadrias and Alterego. After eating, we all talked about the day, until about 11:30 when BoyM4st3r calls me and Jurie over to the side to begin planning a pool party. BoyM4st3r offered Jurie the chance to cook, but she denied, leaving the role to BoyM4st3r. He sighs, and once the three of us split, he went to find someone to help. I took care to plan some of the effects that would happen during the party. I even tried to see if I could jury-rig some fake pyrotechnics out of stuff that I could find around the school, but I couldn't find everything I would need in time. When the time for the party comes, I had few effects set up in the pool, but first came lunch. Everyone but Seadrias and Lloyd Bannings were present. When it came time to eat, I thought about the portion at the pool, and how the others would recieve my hard work, so I didn't get to eat quite as much as the others. Shortly afterwards, we all suddenly felt drowsy and passed out. I woke up later, around the same time as BoyM4st3r, who seemed to awaken shortly after. We both then tried to wake everyone up, but Alterego announces that Jurie is gone. The five of us then went to explore and look for Jurie, and on the way to the second floor, I was stopped by Lloyd who came from the VR room. He asked us what the commotion was about and Alterego explains the circumstances. Lloyd then decides to go with us and eventually, we arrived at the pool, which Alterego seems to immediately enter and notice something wrong. I noticed Jurie on the floor, coughing up and covered in blood and in a horrible state, by the pool, but Lloyd notices something even worse. In the pool itself was the body of Seadrias.

My investigation didn't wield any useful evidence though I would like to note that the pool was completely filled with blood that I couldn't see the bottom of it.

*Masuno raises from his chair, and picks up the penguin, placing it up on Seadrias's stand, in front of his dead picture. He then returns to his seat.*

Oh, yeah, uh, by the way? Less than 24 hours left and nobody's even made a theory yet. Better get to it. You know what the punishment is for losing.

Where is the rest of you guys? Hello? Would you be so kind as to tell us what you did that day? The time limit is getting close.

Edit: Could I ask for an extension? There are not enough people who have spoken up and information to work with beyond random guessing after all.

A 48 hour extension will be given (since nearly nothing has been said). It is Thanksgiving break/weekend after all; I didn't expect a lot of people to be active during this session.

The six of us talked for some time, but at around 11:30 PM, BoyM4st3r calls Kuroyukihime and I to the side to talk. The three of us begin to plan a pool party, and BoyM4st3r nominates me for cooking duty. Even though I'm good at cooking, I do not believe a queen should cook for herself. The servant, meaning BoyM4st3r should cook instead. I storm off to the library, furious that Boy would even think to order me to cook. Alterego steps in soon after, and the two of us decide to play some Five-Card Draw, using trinkets and other objects resembling chips as the bets, cause I didn't want him to bet real money and lose it to me. The two of us play, and the game is essentially at a standstill, his skills were meh and I'm convinced his luck was doing well that day. Around 2 PM, Alterego excuses himself, as BoyM4st3r had apparently tricked him into cooking. I wait for a while but give in and go to the pre-party lunch. Out of everyone, only Seadrias and Lloyd didn't show up. We all eat, but soon, I feel faint and black out. When I awoke, I felt strange. I couldn't breathe at all. I opened my eyes and realized I was underwater and above me was a person but the entire scene was tinted red. I struggled and the assailant got scared and let go. They ran off like a sissy. After the struggle and pain I had gone through, I could barely see, but I did hear a splash and the sound of footsteps. Barely able to move, I climbed up onto the side of the pool and began to cough water. As my vision returned, I noticed I was covered in red, and the water I coughed up was red as well. Soon, a small group of people help me up and Lloyd points out Seadrias's corpse in the pool which I was previously drowning in.

After Masuno appears with the Monokuma files, I realized that my key is missing so I went off to tell the others. We all go to my room and find that it is unlocked... I reluctantly allowed everyone to search my room during Investigation; after all, I never leave my room unlocked like that.

My suspicions lie on BoyM4st3r, and Alterego for the time being.

K, so, because of Thanksgiving weekend, since everybody was probably out and about and that's why there was no time for anyone to do anything, I'm gonna go ahead and grant a 24 hour extension.

Mmkay here we go.

I woke up at about 7:00AM and went straight to the dining hall for breakfast. Once I was there I noticed Seadrias and Alterego were the only ones missing, but thought nothing of it. I ate, and then didn't really do anything until about 11:00 to 11:30-ish when Boym4st3r, Jurie, and Kuroyukihime went to have their little secret conversation as stated before. Also as stated, Akira, Lloyd, and I talked for a little while until Lloyd went to play a game in the VR room. Akira and I were going to plan something for the day, but Kuroyukihime announced the pool party so we decided to do that instead. I ended up just waiting around for a few hours until Alterego and Boym4st3r came out of the kitchen with food. After eating I began to get drowsy, but thought it was just the turkey. I was jsut about to excuse myself to go to my room when I passed out. I woke up to Kuroyukihime and Boym4st3r shaking me frantically. After I was fully awake Alterego yelled about Jurie going missing. When we all went searching Lloyd came out of the VR room and Alterego explained what was going on. Then we got to the pool and you all know how it went from there.

I ended up searching Jurie's room. Nothing was out of place except for the large kitchen knife thrown into the middle of the room after the door had been unlocked.

I'm also suspicious of Boym4st3r and Alterego. But, I lay suspicions on Lloyd as well. He wasn't in the dining room with the rest of us, so he didn't pass out. He could have been doing anything, who says he was actually playing his game?

At 11:30 PM I rather Jurie and Satori to share my plan to her. I wanted to do a party in the swimming pool, and I wanted Jurie to do the cooking but she refuses. I was upset, but I tried to find other person to help me cooking. I found Alter and asked him to help me and he agrees. I was walking around the school when I saw a shadow entering in the nurse office. I entered there but I didn't find no one, so I continued to go happily to the kitchen waiting for Alter.(In the PM it didn't said that I was happy, but I think that if it was a real situation, I would be happy ) At 2 PM me and Alter started to do turkey and ham. We took the food to the others, but two people were missing. Jurie said that Seadrias had something else to do and Lyod was playing a game. We all ate the food and the only thing that I remember was to pass over. I woke up to see Satori awaken. We tried to awake everyone when Alter said that Jurie was missing. We started to look for her and we went to the second floor where Lyod was. Alter explained to him what happened and we went to the pool where Jurie was and where Seadrias's corpse was.

My investigation was horrible, I found the pool itself completely filled with blood, I couldn't see a clear part of the water at all and outside of the water, nothing else seems to have been messed with

Maybe Jurie or Alter?
I think Jurie could be the killer or she could be framed, dunno.
Alter, I think he is one of the most capable to kill someone.

We know the weapon and how he was killed. Now we have to put everything in the place.

So it is proven that I meet with Jurie shortly after she left Boymaster. And in between that time, I needed to have time to have meet Boymaster and talk to him himself. I could not possibly get the drugs afterwards and still have met Jurie "soon after" she left Boymaster. And that I did not get them after leaving Jurie can be seen by the later half of the bolded text in Boymasters quote.

Jurie has an alibi with that as well as she did not have time to apply the drugs to the meal; it could be done by spiking ingredients as well, so it does not need to neccessariely be me or Boymaster. But since no one was in the kitchen but me and Boy while cooking and I was with Jurie the whole time before, she simply had no time to drug anything.

Then, who remains as suspects? Essentially everyone else who was told about the poolparty by Boymaster by the time before the cooking started, which limits the list to Boymaster and Kuroyuki. Neither of them have an alibi for the time the drugs must have been obtained as well. As gamblers are bad at hiding evidence and tech stars are good at it, and since I did not find the bottles of the drugs in the kitchen, I am currently tending towards Kurojukihime. What also seems to fit the bill right now is that no one saw her wake up as she claims to be the first one to wake up, as I am not confident that it is an easy feat to pretend to be asleept after fighting and killing Seadrias (indicating by his knuckles) and then fighting Jurie as well. And last but not least, she says that she did not eat quite as much as the rest of us did, but that also means she had less drugs in her blood. Not only is it strange that she awoke at around the same time as the rest if it is true, if we assume she did eat but only a little as to not fall asleept, it also possibly tells us why Lloyd described the stab wound made by the knife as hastiely made. Of cause, even if she is good with weapons, there is no way to handle weapons as well as normal when you are drugged, even if only a little.

So yeah, I think Kurojukihime is our best guess right now.

    Hmm.. I don't know if you missed something, but I'm a victim of this case as well and my entire day is accounted for. Not to mention, YOU went into the nurse's office and the only parts of your day that you mentioned are what Alter and I have already said. What about the times in between? Trying to push the blame on to me seems ridiculous as I was quite obviously drowning. How does that look like I've been framed?  It's obvious you're trying to tell people you have dirt on me, when in fact, you don't; Just because I mentioned that I suspected you. What say you in your defense?
