I am officially taking over Game A, or, since it is something of a merger, it will now be known as “The A/B game” aka “Ambidex edittiiii- *Shot* No, there will be none of that nonsense.
Roles will be available to Game A participants until Wed morning and then I will open it up for Game B participants until Fri night or until the roles are all taken.
Original intro by Mao:
Game 95A will be a murder mystery in a sci-fi setting with some aspects of a strategy. The host’s intention is to make this a story-driven game with emphasis on the characters, so I’m all for roleplaying and building character arcs in collaboration with the players. The extent to which this is done will depend on how actively you participate, not just during the trial and the night phases, but also during the day phase!
The key to this game is teamwork. Your characters will not start out as strangers, but rather, a crew that has been together for quite some time, in contrast to being randomly selected for a run-of-the-mill Killing Game. You won’t really have a motive for murdering or distrusting anyone, and withholding information from everyone else doesn’t really make sense: for the most of you, that is. Your objective is, of course, to survive the murders by correctly eliminating the killers among you - or die trying.
There are a lot of quirky mechanics to make the game more interesting, which you can read more about in Rules & Mechanics thread. It has already been posted and covers a lot of the expectations for the game, and it is recommended reading before signing-up. There are only two possible endings - survival or extinction - but various strategies to reach either one of those resolutions!

Sign-Up Info:
To sign-up, post your character’s name, role and picture. You’ll find a list of what roles are still open with base descriptions and which ones have been already claimed.
There are no Ultimate talents in this setting, as Killing Games are known as some kind of ancient rituals that savage Terran tribes used to practice before the Heat Death of Internet thousands of years ago. Your chosen role will come with a neat skill set, though!
A couple of addendum's by me,Dio, Yuu.
- Actions will be decreased from 8 to 0-5 per night. (An extra 6th for the blackened, if they need.)
- My poor little brain has very low RAM and will require a 24 hr defrag period in between Chapters.
- Dio is an NPC. He cannot be blackened or, murdered, for good. Mononeko will rez him and it will not count as a murder for blackened. ( Consider him more of an irritating plot device than a character)
Roles:
Captain (Open) - The leader of the crew, responsible for the success of the mission and the safety of all crew member under their authority.
Lieutenant Link) - cond-in-command, whose job is to keep in check both the crew and its captain to make sure everything goes smoothly.
Pilot (Crow) - The ace pilot of the crew, who makes sure you get where you need to be, and has knowledge in operating vehicles of all kind.
Navigator (Maria) - The navigator of the crew is responsible for mapping out routes and in sync with the pilot, makes sure you reach your destination.
Technician (Momoko) - The comms and sensors specialist of the crew, you’re the voice on the ship’s intercom and responsible for surveying the space.
Gunner (Open) - The gunner is responsible for operating the ship’s weapons and artillery systems. They’re quite a good shot outside of the ship too.
Medic (Open) - The medical specialist of the crew, who tends to injuries on the ship, as well as acting as a field doctor whenever required.
Engineer (Taka) - The engineer is responsible for oiling of the many engines of your shop, maintaining its hyperdrive reactors, and offering their technical expertise.
Scientist (Open) - The researcher on deck, whose job is to provide the crew with their scientific expertise and to analyze any samples in their lab.
Operator “Deceased” - The expert on information technology, you are good with all kinds of electronics, but spend most of your time with the ship’s mainframe.
Security (Jash) - The muscle of the crew, you step in when violence is needed to resolve problems. You have extensive military and combat experience, and your most important job is to guard the prisoner and make sure they don’t escape.
Agent (Deaceased) - The agent is a freelancer, working for the client rather than the crew. Your mission is to make sure the prisoner is delivered as per the deal.
Robot (Open) - The non-human attendant of the crew, who tends to their daily needs and acts as the steward of the ship. They may look like a human, but are, in fact, a borg and should not be treated as anything more than that.
Cadet (Lysithia) - The fresh recruit to the crew. The others may underestimate you due to lack of experience and you do mostly grunt work around the ship.
Prisoner (Yuu) - The criminal the crew is transporting from Europa to this station. Always accompanied by a guard, they can’t move about freely, but given the chance, they will make a run for it and try to escape their captivity.
Snekey -(Vael) - Who knows?
