"That was me. There was... a lot of poisoning going on so I felt I may have been able to help if I had the right materials. At least slow things down. Sorry for the alarm." Luna flushes in embarrassment over causing anyone worry due to her own worrying nature.

I did receive your message, but I didn't go there with Micah because we were worried that something happened to Nobu. We weren't able to message him. All of his stuff was left in the Security Room.

Luna couldn't help it. She laughed. The irony of the situation and the tension and depression she felt just mixed into the perfect moment where the slight bit of levity made her chuckle. It was still weak, but a laugh nevertheless. She briefly squeezed Chiaki's hand. "Nobu came to us. We were worried about the both of you and made a beeline to the tenth floor to find you, since Nobu thought it unlikely you were on the eleventh. I was so scared for you two last night.

"I assume it's safe to think you and Micah were together all night? Or most of it anyway."

Nobu nods. It's exactly as Luna said.

I only met up with Micah after half of the night passed (A4).

Her next words came hard. They would sound accusatory, even if she didnt intend it, but she had to know. "Also I want to know why Rantaro and Micah didnt respond at all to the message I sent. I know Omni was down, but we didnt see you at all."

Micah sighs, looking guilty. "I'm sorry, Luna. I did get your message and I tried to send one back, but it wouldn't send. Look..." He pulls out his tablet and showcases the two messages he tried to send, one to Nobu and one to Luna. "I was injured during A2 after a... run-in with Alucard. I spent the next two actions trying to rest and ease the pain. It was then that I met up with Rantaro, and we searched for Nobu for the rest of the night."

He pauses for a moment before continuing. "Nobu already shared the state of the lounge, and he was, of course, telling the truth about all of that. I also investigated the Security Room and found that everything was pretty normal except a small pile of ash in the centre of the room."

“While I don’t think I’m under my suspicion, nor did I see anything of note, I suppose I should also give a brief run down of my evening. I started the night off with Alucard and a most enlightening conversation with the man. While not incredibly relevant, he left with a small blowtorch towards the treehouse. I grabbed an odd crowbar and headed towards the main computer room, or the metal door rather.

“While I was breaking open the door, Chiaki showed up and started helping me out. We left a note indicating when we opened it, if anyone wants to check. The computer room, unfortunately, had nothing of note. A finger scanner wouldn’t let us access the computer itself. But we notified Rantaro, Micah, and Nobu of what we found.

“Then we waited. Scoured the room for anything of note. Nothing.

“So we left briefly to see if we could find the others. We were a bit nervous, after all. Nobu and Alucard were headed our way so we went back to the room, tried a few more things, and decided we needed to find Micah and Rantaro. I should also note that Alucard had um… he had Kira with him. He then declared he was throwing her into the fire he made of the treehouse. He did not follow us.

“Since Nobu had spent most of his time on the eleventh floor, we figured the best place to look for Micah and Rantaro would be the tenth. We went as far as the viewing room before deciding we needed rest and would resume looking for everyone in the morning. Fortunately, Rantaro and Micah were safe.” Luna frowned. She’d been worried sick. And while she found the boys, someone else was missing.

I'm a little tired, so I'll do this briefly. (A1) Firstly, I was in the copier room. (A2) Secondly, I was in the storage room. Thirdly, I was in the kitchen (A3 and A4). (A5) Fourthly, I was in the security room. (A6) Fifthly, I was in the morgue. That's all.

The Tablet speaks up:

"I started in the Kitchen with Alter and Ego. I sent everyone that message and left out that I was there to fill my thermos with boiled water to open the frozen drawer in the Morgue. On my way there, I saw Smokey in the hallway and Rantaro in the copier room. As I suspected, the drawer held the key to the Security Room, which is where I went next. Alucard joined me at some point with... Kira. He pressed the button and killed Omni. We ran out to look for others, and having gotten the message from Luna, we ran towards the Main Machine Room. We passed by Tasogare in the lift and the Treehouse which was on fire, until we reached the Main Machine Room where Luna and Chiaki were... The rest of it, you all already know."

Also, I'd like to specify that we I went into the kitchen, nobody was there (A3). Then, after some time had passed, Alter and Ego came in and drank some tea. After they left the kitchen, Micah entered (A4).

Micah nods in agreement with Rantaro.

"I suppose I should take this opportunity to say what I was up to last night, huh...?

I started out in the locker room, where I changed into my bathing suit and ran to the pool to swim (A0&1).

I swam for a bit, then I grabbed this floaty ring and went to the Panic Room, where I saw Alucard, who tried to burn my hair with a small blowtorch. I... tried to make a move on him, and... it was not reciprocated. He slammed his knee into... well, let's say the family jewels. All I could do was lay there in pain (A2).

Alucard left the room toward the mud room. I lay on the ground for like 10 minutes. When I could finally stand, I left, walking through the Mud Room, where I saw Tasogare with a pretty bag walking past me into the Panic Room. The lift was on floor 11 when I arrived, so I waited til it came to me and then took the lift up to Floor 12. I saw Smokey in the southwest corner of the room before I headed into the Lounge, where I found that the fireplace was out. (A3)

I tried to reply to my messages from Luna and Nobu, but Omni-san wasn't working. I left for the kitchen; when I walked out into the hallway, I saw Akane covering her mouth and running from the Storage Room to the Main Central Hub. Smokey was there too, and he asked if I was okay. I made my way to the kitchen, where I found an ice pack to hold on the, ah, injured area. I found Rantaro baking a cake too, and we started talking about Nobu. We decided to look for him. (A4)

I put the ice pack back. Rantaro and I went searching for Nobu in the Security Room. When we went through the hallway, I noticed Smokey in the same place he was in before. When Rantaro and I went past the Initial Testing Room, we saw Tasogare inside playing with a robotic bunny. The Security Room was empty, but we did find Nobu's backpack there. That made me nervous; his tablet was inside, he'd never leave that (A5).

Rantaro and I searched the morgue for Nobu, but it was empty too. We then went back to the boys' bedroom -- thankfully Nobu was there, safe (A6)."

Luna looks puzzled for a moment. Something isn’t adding up. “Guys, when did Akane get poisoned? Her actions around 8:30pm indicate she was poisoned then. But with what? If we think chlorine is involved, she couldn’t have been poisoned between 8:00 an 8:30pm. The chlorine is in the kitchen and Smoky pointed out she had nothing in her hands.



“She couldn’t have grabbed it through the hole in the kitchen. Not only would that be an incredible feat but surely Rantaro, who was in the kitchen at that time would have noticed, especially when she put it back. I think we’ve been looking at this all wrong. I think Akane legitimately was trying to live, but she couldn’t trust anyone especially since she went to the kitchen and saw no one there at that time.



“But Rantaro. He was in the storage before she was and then in the kitchen while she was below him. Rantaro, I don’t want to think this is the case, but you gave such a vague alibi. Tell me, what were you doing in more detail before Micah joined you at the end.”

Um, sure. After I grabbed a pen in the storage room (which was A2), I decided to go to the Kitchen to bake a white chocolate cake (which was A3). When you I entered the Main Hallway, I could still see Smokey sitting in the South West corner and Akane walking out of the Lounge towards the Storage Room. After I arrived at the Kitchen, I started making the cake. The oven was totally fine when I was there. So, I continued baking (it took me two actions to bake the cake (A3 and A4)). During that time, I remember Alter and Ego coming into the kitchen to drink some tea. After they left, Micah came in. He tried my exquisite cake and ,then, as you know, we went to look for Nobu, who we thought was in danger.
