DEADLY (INVESTIGATION)
For Game 94B: The Promised Neverland
Morning breaks. The sound of a bell in the distance rings, although softly. The majority of you probably do not hear this. But it signifies that it is 6 am. Everyone runs on a strict sleep schedule at the orphanage. In bed by 10 p.m., wake up by 6 am.
Some of you wake before 6 a.m., and the majority of you wake right at 6 a.m., your body programmed after months or even years of being at the orphanage.
Unlike on a regular day, Mother does not enter the bedroom. Normally, she would enter the room with her wide smile, waking up everyone with her gentle voice and throwing the curtains to the bedroom open to let the sun shine through. This morning was different.
What's more, not everyone was here. There were four people missing. Counting Mother, that would make five. Of those in the bedroom, you look to one another, confusion clearly written across everyone's face. Every day was a routine, and breaking that routine just felt wrong. Something felt wrong.
Uratsu is the first to speak up, taking charge of the situation.
"Are we missing some people?"
"Let me see..."
"You guys get ready, I'll just count everyone here."
"Let me see..."

He starts taking a head count, while everyone begins a quick morning routine. Still dazed, still tired for some, and completely in a state of uncertainty, you all at least get dressed for the day, and morning hygiene stuff.
Lucie is limping around.
Sandra looks well rested.
Mica seems very upset and exhausted.
Asai is looking around the bedroom more than getting ready.
Raphara smells of a strong odor.
Luka's hair is fizzy and a little damp.
Shinoso also looks well rested.
Wiccan is keeping to himself a bit more than usual.
Niles is as clean as ever.
Once everyone reconvenes, Uratsu tells the mass what he has found.
"I don't seem to see Sato, Eve, Hana, nor Julian."
"Maybe something happened to them...?"
"Or maybe... they were adopted last night."
"Where's Mother as well?"
"Maybe something happened to them...?"
"Or maybe... they were adopted last night."

He looks out of the window of the bedroom, but all that can be seen are the woods, the shed below to the west, and the livestock pen to the north. Nothing looks out of the ordinary of those places, although not much of those places can be seen to begin with.
It was time to figure out what was happening, and investigate where everyone went.

As you may have noticed already, there's not much at ALL to work with right now.
We're trying a small different thing this time around:
- You will have 12 hours to send any investigations.
- After 12 hours, the Trial will start.
- From when the Trial starts, you will have another 24 hours to send in investigations.
(This is so you have 24 hours to talk about alibi's before investigating, which realistically makes sense)
- The Trial itself will last 72 hours.

Q: are we allowed to look around without losing investigations?
A: I don’t see why not. If you look around though, I’m not gonna give like in depth investigations or anything. I’m just gonna say whether or not you find anyone who’s missing. If you enter a room, I’m going to say that everyone is focused on finding the people. So you will only find the missing people, and literally nothing else even if something is a little out of place
