It is time for a teary-eyed goodbye to all your monocoins!
That's right, a complete revamp of the Monocoin system is being implemented. All your coins, name colors and trophies will now vanish into the void and become a flat zero. If you feel an intense despair and annoyance from such an unfair reset, fear not! Moneykumas and Anniversary cakes will stay even after revamp, so you can show the world off how much of a rich kid you used to be before democracy ruined it all!
From the day of the apocalypse revamp, passively getting money will now be impossible. You will no longer be able to get free money from spamming in threads or banking it forever. You can get money by earning it through activity and being an awesome person.
How do I earn my beloved Monocoins now?
There is a variety of ways where you can earn a good amount of Monocoins by playing games or being a nice and helpful person for this site (without becoming a slave, don't worry).

1.) Being active, and winning as Whitened or Blackened during a game.
- Hosts will be allowed to hide up to 25 Monocoins in various ways during each Daily Life they hold, to be found by snooping players
- Applying as Blackened gives you 25 Monocoins regardless of whether you get picked as Blackened or not
- Activity through an entire trial and winning as Whitened gives you 100 Monocoins per trial
- Winning as Blackened gives you 600 Monocoins
- Dead players will still be able to win Monocoins both by actively participating in and solving Graveyard Trials
- Activity through an entire game gives you an additional 100 Monocoins regardless of a win or loss as either Whitened or Blackened
- Hosts will receive 300 Monocoins per Trial they host.
2.) Mini Trials!
- Actively participating in a Mini Trial that you have signed up for awards 20 Monocoins regardless of winning or losing. Not actively participating nulls all Monocoins rewards for that Mini.
- Winning as a Whitened awards you 40 additional Monocoins.
- Winning as a Blackened awards an additional 90 Monocoins.
- Actively participating in a Mini Trial that you have signed up for awards 20 Monocoins regardless of winning or losing. Not actively participating nulls all Monocoins rewards for that Mini.
- Winning as a Whitened awards you 40 additional Monocoins.
- Winning as a Blackened awards an additional 90 Monocoins.
- Hosts of a trial earn 120 Monocoins.
3.) Helping DRG in a number of different ways.
- Introducing new members to the forum gives you 200 Monocoins per new member AFTER they have been active for at least one game
- Hosting or starting any new minigame on the forum gives you up to 250 Monocoins
- Contributing to the community in any other way (affiliates, advertising, etc) gives you 250 Monocoins
- Introducing new members to the forum gives you 200 Monocoins per new member AFTER they have been active for at least one game

What can I spend those hard-earned Monocoins on?
The items that you can buy in School Shop remain mostly unchanged. There will be added new stuff in that you can buy soon(tm).
1.) Buying a new color change
Just like all the money and trophies, with the exception of Moneykumas, color changes to your account names and titles will be gone too. Once you buy a color change to either your name or title, you can PM an admin and ask for a color change of your choice. Please request in hex color codes and don't ask for stuff like "double rainbow colour plox" to make it easier for admins.
2.) Keychains of your favorite DanganRonpa characters
Just like always, there is a big variety of character keychains from the three main games (DR1-DRv3). Show the world who your waifu or husbando is!
3.) Buying trophies of all kinds
Trophies that will be available in School Shop can vary. Some of them are for sale permanently. Some are time limited for either Christmas specials or anniversary winner cakes. A new addition of trophies will be added sometime this year! Stay patient!
4.) The Monomono Machine
Located under your profile is our very own Monomono Machine! You may spend 333 coins here to spin the slots. When the spin is finished, you can send a screenshot of your result to Codeskull to add your choice of one of the rewards in the middle row to your account. Plus, if you get all 3 of the same reward, you win both the character and all your money back! The Monomono Machine will have rewards rotating on a Gamely basis.
School Shop? Where is that?
If you are a new person to the site, navigation can be hard. But I promise, it's quite simple! Find the box that says "Links" to your right and simply click "School Shop". If you are too lazy for that, you can just go to the School Shop here.
