What?! A murder?! Everyone is shocked, naturally. If only there was electricity or cell service so that they could call for help. Instead, all they can do is cry at the sight of their skeletal friend, now really, truly dead.
Until Sheepdog says suddenly, “Hey, where is Smudge?”
The group searches the cabin up and down, but Smudge is absolutely nowhere to be found… that is, until Chunky opens the front door and lets out a heart-wrenching cry. Everyone runs to her side and looks out, to find…
...the body of Smudge, half-buried in snow, on the front step.
What?! A double murder?!
Well, with nothing to do except play Monopoly, why not try to solve the murder?

Hot chocolate: there are 7 mugs of hot chocolate in the living room. Sheepdog drank the most, and Bread Doge drank the least.
Fire poker: a fire poker from the fireplace is now buried in some snow about 10 metres from the house.
Fireplace: the fireplace and the floor/walls around it are covered in soot, and there are several pokers with an unknown substance at one end lying in front of the fireplace.
State of the bedroom: several things of note are in the bedroom.
- There is a small wet stain on the top bunk of the middle bed, as well as a large puddle by the door to the bedroom, and some smaller puddles on the floor of the study.
- There are several scratches around the lock of the bedroom door, and some crumbs. You should also note that this room locks from the outside, and when locked, cannot be opened from the inside.
- The latch on the bedroom window has been tampered with somehow, making the window stuck open.
- There is a blanket lying on the floor in the middle of the room.
- There is a hole in the wall above Sans’s body.
Bucket: there is a red bucket in the snow below the window of the bedroom. It’s been completely crushed and broken in parts.
Towel: there is a wet towel left in the middle of the living room floor.

Sans’s body: Sans is on the floor of the bedroom by the door. There is a small amount of blood on the front of his shirt, and there is snow and frost on his bones.
Smudge’s body: Smudge is just outside the front door. There is bruising on his lower back and legs, as well as a shard of red painted metal lodged in his thigh.
Front door vestibule: it looks like the front door was opened at some point, but any snow that may have gotten inside has been brushed back outside. The front door was locked before everyone went out to find Smudge’s body.
