Game 92 - Trial 1: Mourning the Mountaineer

Daisy found some time to speak up and mention her whereabouts for the evening.
Maybe this information could help the others to solve the case.

"Well, since everyone is revealing where they went, I guess it's only fair if I do so as well.
So listen up everyone! I won't say this twice!"

She giggled and twirled around to deliver her _{long ass text} monologue.
"To start it off, I was first having dinner with my Beloved Luigi, His dearest son Bellamy, Tomiko, and J@N3 D03. It was quite a good meal, and of course it would've, it was prepared by Luigi, he is the best cook out there!"
She gave a sweet chuckle.

"After we had our lovely family dinner I decided to work off some of the calories I had just consumed, so I went to the living room, leaving the dining room with Tomiko to exercise a little! Tomiko walked over to a windowsill and Mizuki was sleeping in a bag, I switched to some more appropriate clothes and down a good warm up!"

"Once I was finished, Timiko left and I wanted to spar with someone! I saw Mizuki and shouted a traditional challenging shout and totally defeated her in the match! Though she did seem a little hurt and was crying while she ran off, guess some people just aren't meant to be athletic!"
She laughed nervously

"Afterwards I wanted to head to the garden, so I pulled out my umbrella due to some past experiences with Peach's Garden. I walk in and see a hooded figure with a wheelchair leaving the greenhouse with Aria, Stanley, and Yuriko. When I walked in the sprinklers turned on and got everyone soaking wet, except me of course!"

"I look around and see the flowers, Aria leaves into the backyard, and Yuriko has went inside the house. The cloaked figure and Tomiko walk in to replace the two."

"I decide to go to the Vestibule to work on my Tai-chi where I was alone for the rest of the night!"
She displayed some of her Tai-chi

[Spell Craft]

"That's not entirely true, J@N3. I didn't travel to the graveyard during the night, as a normal person would avoid something haphazardly like strolling outside in the middle of the night."

Rei shakes her head, "But, I did go to the graveyard during the day. That's how I came to have Georgie's remains in my possession to begin with. Originally, I meant to just take Georgie, leaving the box and filling the grave back up. But, someone had been behind me, and I ran around the whole house, still during the day. I stayed indoors all night long."

[Tetsu]

Marrion clears her throat in a polite manner.

“M-my apologies for being out of this...I was just thinking how could someone commit such heinous crime...I’ll share the investigation results first before I continue..if that is okay?”

She smiles politely and begins

“So I investigated the Graveyard which was our crime scene. There were jagged rows of tombstones with unknown names. The body was lay in the open grave along with a large shovel. Now I saw a lot of set of footprints around the area but it was helpful due to the loose earth. However it was it difficult to identify an exact count across the entire graveyard. There were 4 footprint that lead to the grave but it was difficult to identify the sizes of it..though.”


“On to my Kitchen scan I found that the kitchen has been cleaned a fair bit since you arrived at the manor. A drying rack is filled with recently cleaned pots, pans, cutlery, plates, and bowls. The clean atmosphere is somewhat marred by a soggy sweater left hanging over the side of the counter.”

“My apologies if it doesn’t help much..” Marrion bows her head

[Hosh]

Aria blinks slowly, spacing out, before snapping back to reality.

"O-Oh! I guess I, like, didn't talk... at all! But, that'll change now!........"

She blinks slowly again, staring at the ceiling.

"...Right! Mhm, mhm..."

She slightly mimics Marrion's poses as she tells her alibi.

"[0] I started my night on the stairs right outside the front door, looking at, uhhh... those lights in the sky! Y'know, like... stars!

[1] After that, I decided that the back yard probably had a better view, soooo... I walked through the graveyard, where I passed that person." She points at Kogarashi. "In the back yard, I laid down while Yuriko came out of the glass planthouse.

[2] Me and Yuriko headed into the glass planthouse while the dead girl, RIP by the way, and Vee came out. Inside, we saw robotboy and hooded boy.

[3] Those last two, like, left, and Stanley and Daisy came in! But Stanley pressed a button and it started... raining! Like, inside the room!

[4] I ran out into the back yard because my spacebuns don't handle water well... That person walked up to the back yard too." She points at Kogarashi again.

"[5] I ran through the glass planthouse again, where Luigi and Tomiko were just vibing for some reason... Anyway, I entered the kitchen and dried myself with a towel after meeting Yuriko in the dining hall.

[6] After that, I went back to the back yard to look at more stars! I gave Tomiko my towel and passed Luigi, Yuriko and Mizuki all in the glass planthouse!......."

".......That's it."

She starts doing some Tai-chi.

"[A0] I started the night in the Greenhouse, playing around with Yuriko. Vee was there too, talking to herself."
"[A1] When leaving, I saw Yuriko leave to the backyard, and passed by Jane and Madeline as I made my way to the Kitchen."
"Ball, Luigi and Marrion were in there, washing the dishes. I took a knife to attempt a trick I read on a book."


"[A2] Still in the Kitchen, Ball gave me a cardboard cut out of me before leaving with Marrion."
"I was left alone with Luigi. It was the perfect opportunity to give him a scare. A shame I didn't have a camera."
"He needed the knife, so I gave it to him after."


"[A3] I didn't think anything was going to happen; I was still playing around at this point."
"I went to the Fountain and threw myself in it, accidentally splashing Ball and Kogarashi. It's at this point that I spotted a figure passing by us and going into the mansion. I didn't get to see who they were."
"Still, Vee then came out of the graveyard talking about cavity examinations."


"[A4] Before leaving, I saw Kogarashi head to the backyard and Jane come to the fountain from that same direction. And now she's confirmed she was on the graveyard..."
"Either way, I entered the Entrance Hall to see if the figure from earlier was there."
"I didn't find them, but I did see Marrion leaving the kitchen and going into the vestibule, possibly to exit the mansion."

"[A5] Marrion came back from the front door and we went together to the Living Room. Marrion went to pray in front of the fireplace."
"I found a wheelchair and sat on it, but realized too late there was a box atop of it."
"Inside the box were the remains of George... Just then, a cloaked person, Rei, walked into the room and hissed at me."


"[A6] Lastly, still in the Living Room, I tried to have Marrion exorcise what I thought was a demon, but she left the room."
"I passed out for a moment here. When I regained my senses, I saw Rei sitting on the wheelchair and looking into the box."

"As for what I found in my investigation..."
"In the crime scene (Graveyard), ignoring the countless tombstones, was the open grave the victim was in. Next to the grave was a shovel and a medium-sized patch of dirt."
"There were footprints all over the place, too. Skelly helped me distinguish which footprints were done before we arrived, and as it turns out,"
"There are four pairs of footprints going to the open grave."


"I also scanned the Pantry. There's enough canned food for a while."
"The only noteworthy thing is that the highest shelf was cleared out and its contents were randomly spread to the other shelves."

[Izumiko (Emi)]

"Moved from top to lower shelves? That's awfully nice of them! I'd be able to reach all those cans with my height now"

Mizuki stands on her toes to indicate her short height and tiny build

"Oh yeah, did I mention that I saw a lot of people outside the front entrance? There's this huuuuge tree I was taking naps on, it was so comfy!"

"So uhm... at (insert time for action 3) I saw Marrion, Battler and Ball walk off somewhere past the front yard. At (insert action 4) I went up into that tree! From there I saw Kogarashi... Marrion and Battler were walking Jo- JoEEE?"

Mizuki stuggles pronouncing J@N3 D03 as she twists the name into a mess

"Then Marrion comes back with something seeeeecreeeet (action 5). Vee was mean to Bellamy and Jo...EEE was trying to stop them? And then Kogarashi was there too, running off to somewhere. I then.... I think I fell asleep by then! And once I woke (action 6), I felt like going to the greenhouse to get a nice flower! Thank you Luigi~!"

Mizuki smiles as she takes out a blue flower and gently holds it for everyone to see

[Spell Craft]

Rei sighs, annoyed that she’s agreeing with the man who sat in her wheelchair.

“I can confirm what Battler said is true about the pantry. When I looked at it, the pantry, as it always did, contained a painter’s palette of cheap canned foods. However, the highest shelf in the back of the pantry has been cleared out, its contents spread randomly yet purposefully to the other shelves.”

She looks around for anyone who had done this.

“I might as well detail the living room now as well. The living room was largely as it always has been. Large stone fireplace, comfy armchair, fifteen sleeping bags, two tables of varying purpose, collection of creepy antique dolls; there isn’t much to say. Oh, there was that 9-inch dagger I found in the drawer next to the misplaced jigsaw pieces and chess pawn, though.”

“As for anything else to say so it’s not left out; the fountain was as beautiful as ever, though I was slightly perturbed by the damp blazer, dress shirt, and tie that have been left beside it. The fountain had small fish swimming in it, who all seem happy enough. Nothing seemed to have really changed around there.”

Yeah, he wasn't there the whole time, during the 3rd action you know, more like 1/10 of the action, you know?

It's like...
1st, me and Stanley.
2nd, Stanley left (more like sprinting actually), leaving me alone.
3rd, not long after, Ball and his gang arrive.

Also, sorry for calling you "The American Vampire Robot". I don't know what nickname to give you.

Marrion looks at everyone and smiles.

"I guess I should tell you what I did the whole night."


"I started in the Living Room . I sat by the fireplace and silently pray a little while watching  Mizuki sleeping in her sleeping bag."

"I then...head to the Kitchen . I was looking around and I that's when Luigi and Bellamy enters and I decided to help them out to wash some dishes. "A good plumber always-a cleans up his messes,” Luigi says, giving Bellamy a high-five, and Bellamy snaps a picture of the room with his thermal camera. Then we saw Madeline leaving out of the Pantry . Then Battler enters the Kitchen and went to the corner and begin crying after grabbing a knife."

Marrion shook her head.

" Bellamy   tried to cheer Battler with a cardboard doll unfortunately...he cried even more. So I decided to leave. Bell followed closed behind but then stopped at the  Dining Room . I decided to head outside. Skelly let me out of the Front Door . Once outside I saw  Stanley and Kogarashi arguing in the fountain . I decided to begin my purifying the grounds around the house...however I had only enough until the corner of the Greenhouse."

"Near the greenhouse I noticed a lot of people inside...I decided to make a small marking where I stopped and return to the Front Door by passing  Ball, Battler and Mizuki and then I passed  Luigi and Tomiko who were in the  Dining Room and I head to the Kitchen to fill up my vial with water and I chant some prayers to make it a little more holy. I then heard a muffled scream from the Greenhouse.

"I then decided to continue where I stopped. So out the Front Door opened by Skelly and this time I noticed  Vee, Jane and Bell at the Fountain . I then went to where I stopped scattering the holy water around the perimeter which was at the beginning corner of the greenhouse and then all the way to the backyard and to the other side of the house and then made it back to the Front Yard."


"After that I head back into the Front Door, before entering I noticed Vee, Jane and Bell..still at the fountain. I find Battler in the front hall , and the two of us walk to the living room together. I decided to kneel down in front of the fireplace and begin to pray for the house perimeter to be protected. Battler sits on an unattended wheelchair and I heard a crunch. Shortly after, a hooded figure storms into the room looking livid!"

"Battler pockets the box he was holding and runs over to me. He begs me to protect him from the cloaked figure, but I would rather not get in the middle of their quarrel, so I walk out of the room. I pass Stanley in the front hall who is arguing with Skelly on the stairs . In the greenhouse I find Yuriko, covered in mud, Mizuki, and Luigi, who is kneeling on the wet floor cleaning up some broken pots. Yuriko and Mizuki are each holding blue flowers. Luigi offers me the last blue flower from one of the broken pots.

Luigi thinks back on when he and Ball were cooking together.

"I think I-a know! It-a must've been Madeline herself that rearranged it? Since I-a saw her leaving the Pantry right after I had-a finished doing dishes, but it's-a not like it-a really matters, does it?"

"What's-a most important is narrowing down who could have-a committed this horrible crime. Now-a Rei, when did you-a dig up Georgie's grave? And-a how much of the grave did you-a dig up?"

[Evie The Bat]

"Wait there was a...scream from the greenhouse beep? Is that from the water incident boop?"

Tomiko nodded. "I think so. I heard the scream and Aria told me it was her, after I went into the greenhouse to investigate. But..." She paused to rub the back of her head. "I don't know, of course, if that was the truth."

"Im also interested in that cloaked figure... I saw them during actions 3 and 4, and it seems like other people saw them, too..."

Luigi nervously pipes up while waiting for his answer.

"H-hey Sk-skelly... c-could you-a say who y-you-a let in through the F-Front Door? H-However much you can say-a please."

[Vulpix]

Skelly leapt to his feet. There was a loud crunch.

"Ooh! These bones are getting old..."

"No matter. I will of course tell you who went through the front door! If I recall correctly, Stanley, Marrion, Bellamy, Battler, and Mizuki all came through the front door at least once last night. Unfortunately, I didn't take note of who might've used the back door through the greenhouse... I can tell you, though, that four people never went outside at all. You may feel free to identify yourselves."
