Game 91 "Deadly" Daily Life: What a mess!

After a long day of cleaning (or what you were supposed to do anyway) you all retreat into the Guest Room, as you see it getting dark outside, nearing nighttime.

The next day you all gather in the dining room and have breakfast served by Kirumi with the help from Gonta. The dining room smells weirdly burnt and its quite messy on the counters, as if they have been melting.

"It would seem that our food runs out thin quite fast... All the desserts and sugary items seem to be gone from the fridge. Even the kitchen itself has been on fire."

"It would generally seem like the mess has gotten even worse than before. Look at this letter that was in the cookie tray again"

Dear students of this talented class.
It would seem that the mess in my workshop has gotten even worse! The only clean area is the guest room and my very own personal bedroom and kitchen is in complete shambles! You better fix it quick if you ever want to leave.

However, Santa is not a grumpy old man- ho, ho, ho! If you promise to do repairs to the reindeer stables, I shall open the door and let you all out and have fun in the snow. Don't go in too deep or no one may ever find you again, not even I!

Remember, Santa always sees the naughty kids!

"So it would seem like we get to go outside with enough patience. Perhaps this will open an escape route for us?"

"Ah Miu, should we do the stables then?" She beamed.

"Fuckin' finally!"

"C'mon, Bakamatsu, let's see what those pretty little finger can do with my tools!"

Miu Iruma grabbed Kaede by the wrist and made a beeline for the stables. When she got to the lobby again, she tried the door handle to see if it would open now.

"Woahhhh......"

[Vulpix]

"Wait! Hold on!"

Miu darted out of the lobby and dashed into her personalized workshop. Ten minutes later, she got back to Kaede in the lobby, panting and out of breath.

"Kaede... I just had the most brilliant idea! Here. I made this for ya."




"It plays piano while you sleep!"

She passed Kaede a little contraption that appeared to be a music box. She demonstrated winding up the crank before opening the lid. A crudely made figurine with a shock of blond hair and a little pink outfit sat at a surprisingly detailed miniature piano. It was playing Clair de Lune by Debussy.

"It doesn't really mean anythin' but I figured since it's Christmas and all... Feel free to thank me later."

[Zero One/Zero Two]

"You know what, at this point, I'm pretty sure, Santa isn't real. At least, not the one who wrote this letter, and trapped us here." Said Gonta while munching the cookies.

"Oh wow.... thank you so much, it's beautiful, but I'm not very good at creating things... I feel bad that I don't think I could give you a Christmas present that amazing..."

[Vulpix]

"Wh-what the hell? You really like it?"

"Uh... It's not like I really made it for you... Just couldn't stop this genius idea from comin' to fruition... It's not like I was actually thinkin' about you when I made this..."

"S-so... can we just get to those stables already?"

Miu stumbled back to the door and tried the handle again.

Himiko seemed a little upset, tired and as usual, slumped over.

"Hey, whoever was messing with me earlier needs to cut it out!"
She seemed a little too tired to be visibly angered.


"Or I will cast a curse upon you and your family, much like I shall with Ryoma! Who I found touching me in my sleep."

[Peregrine]

Kokichi ignores the short one, throwing his hands up in indignation as he turns to Kirumi and Shuichi.



"Aww, man! That big, dumb Santa wants us to do more work? Accidents are bound to happen, you know. You can't blame everything on us!"

His eyes suddenly fill with tears as his head hangs limpidly.




"Although, I do feel really bad about setting the kitchen on fire... I was looking for snacks and must've accidentally turned the stove on... God, I'm so stupid sometimes!!! Stupid stupid stupid! Stupidstupidstupidstupidstupidstupidstupidstu—



—but wow, we get to go play in the snow? That's great! I wanna make the biggest snowman in the whole world! So everyone, just do your best cleaning and don't disappoint me! 'Cause after all, if this place isn't spotless soon..."



"...heads will roll, won't they, Shuichi?"



He stares down the detective with a level head, glaring up at him with a devious smile.

[Izumiko (Emi)]

"What? No! Everything will be fine, it's just a messy situation is all..."

"So it was you who caused all this Kokichi? Do you have any idea just how much trouble you got us into? We might not have enough food to survive until next Christmas now!"

Ryoma stares at Himiko without compassion. "I've finished my revenge, and I don't want to play with you anymore. Cleaning to leave this workshop is more important than your feelings."

Miu pushed hard to get the door open against the snow that was piling up outside of it. She was shivering from the cold. She turned back to Kaede.

"Come on, ya flat-chested idiot! We don't have all day!"

Miu stumbled to the stables.

"Dammit! These stables really are in bad shape."

Vulpixie cued Tasogare to give a description of the stables and their condition.
