You all seem to have settled on one person. Codeskull sweats immensely, tapping his foot as he vehemently tries to defend himself. But its all for naught, the votes can't be swayed...
"AAAAARGH ALRIGHT I DID IT, I FOLLOWED OBAMA, THE IDIOT DUCKED HIS HEAD UNDER THE COVERS AND I STABBED HIM WITH THE QUILL, I USED THE INK THAT I'D LACED WITH POISON, HE DIDN'T EVEN SEE ME I DID IT I DID IT I DID ITTTTTTTT." He drops to the floor in distress.
Everyone looks on in shock.
You all discovered the killer but, with the way he appears to be taking things, you don't necessarily feel happy that you did... A voice booms out through the corridoors.
"Alright, execution time my puppet, let's set an example for those who fail me."
Two cultists come walking in from the halls, you all look on frozen in shock as they grab Codeskull by the arms and drag him away.
A large crystal ball comes up in the centre of the room from within the floor, and inside it you all see the events of his execution unfold.
EXECUTION: GUILTY AS CHARGED
Codeskull opens his eyes, he is inside a courtroom, but something looks off, its a lot larger than he remembers, and he isn't in his normal spot, in front of him is the witness stand, the defense attorney wearing a blue suit with his hair slicked back, and the prosecution with a smart looking suit and silver hair. All of the jury sit in the sidelines, but all of the people in the scenario are wearing facemasks, facemasks that match the faces of your fellow comrades from the dungeon. "Am I in the judge's seat?" He wonders to himself, that would make sense from where he is sitting but, everything is huge, the room is scaled up a hundredfold. He appears to be sitting on some sort of round wooden object. "Guilty! Guilty I say!" Shouts the prosecution. "Yes he was the one who did it!" The person standing at the witness stand bearing the face mask of Roku Obama himself... The other facemasks are paper though, this one looks a bit more... Realistic, skin?
"He was the one who did it! Kill him!" The witness shouts from the stand.
"OBJECTION!" Cries the defense attorney, he pauses for a moment, before giving a sly smile... "I'm quite sure he did it as well!" The defense shouts, all of the jury erupt into a cheer in unison. "GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY GUILTY GUILTY GUILTYGUILTYGUILTYGUILTYGUILTYGUILTYGUILTYGUILTYGUILTY." They all shout, the loud sound of the room erupting becomes too much. Codeskull then realises too late that what he was sitting on, was the judge's table, on the gavel knocker...
"ORDER IN THE COURT" Shouts the judge, who bears the face of the demon lord himself, no. It is the demon lord.
"I WILL HAVE ORDER!" He slams the gavel down on the table, crushing Codeskull with a swift smash, instantly breaking his spine, but he is still alive. The judge glances down at him and shoots him a smile before continuing. "ORDER I WILL HAVE ORDER, ORDER, ORDER, ORDER ORDER ORDERORDERORDERORDERORDERORDER" As he slams down the gavel again, again, again. Soon after Codeskull's body is mashed into a pulp by the judge's gavel.
You all look on in horror as this horrendous site appears before you. The demon lord looks into the crystal ball, his eyes pierce your soul. "I announce the corrupt lawyer guilty as charged. Good job everyone." The courtroom erupts into cheers, confetti flies everywhere as the puddle of Codeskull slowly pools off the side of the judge's table.
The crystal ball disappears back into the floor.
You solved the murder correctly, nobody has to die.
