[Journal Entry 00]
It feels tight. It feels like there's a pair of hands around my heart, and they're wiggling their fingers around my valves. My throat closes up, and my vision loses its edges. Everything going blurry. Everything's going numb. I can't stand. Not an inch of my body will allow motion. As I lay down, the world fades from my sight with my eyes wide open. Is this death?
The sun's blinding today. Was it always this bright, on days like this? I can't remember the last time I've looked up at the sun, nor felt the warmth of these blazing rays. Usually, the weather is overcast, or plainly drizzling non-stop. In this world, children can come and go without having ever seen the sun's bask. I thought I was forever doomed to that fate... but here it is, showing it's hot embrace to shower the world with. How long have we been living like this?
The name's Tobi Noroi. I figure we might as well get introductions out of the way. I'm a 16 year old boy, living with my mother and father. Easy, right? Don't forget it, cause I'm not one to repeat myself.
Today was my mother's birthday. The day started off pretty normal, dark and dreary and dismal. The works. We held a small get together at home, something simple for the three of us. We had some crackers and shared our gifts. In these times, we don't normally see each other every day. A whole week could go but without having ever seen my parents faces. Today was different, of course. Hell, the sun streaked our faces with it's fiery rays. If that's not the definition of an abnormal day, I don't know what is. Another story for a another time, though.
So, down to the nitty-gitty. I got this journal from my mom. On her birthday. If it's not making any sense, it's not supposed to, cause I don't get it either. But she asked me, practically on her hands and knees, to take this journal, and write about my life at least once a week. What kind of parent asks their kid to write stupid journal entries on their own birthday? I owe it to her, though, you know? She's my mom, and there's not any reason not to, I guess. Don't expect these entries to be too long though, I ain't here for your entertainment. This is for my mom, and that's all.
Welcome to my World.
Every week, I will be updating this thread with a single journal entry.
It will not always be from the same person.
It will not always make sense.
Everyone is free to comment on the story so far, conspiracy theories, or anything else they want to say.
Over time, it will all make sense.
Have fun reading.
...
Oh, and if you see text like this, in a quote and fancy colors, it is my voice. The author.
I figured it would be important to tell you know, to avoid confusion.
