Game 72 #2 Final Trial: ...and the Final Showdown

You all arrive to the Entrance for the final time. You are all sure it´s final and for real. You get to go home soon!... Maybe.
A huge pentagram-like circle is in the middle. It emits a lot of energy, and it seems even more menacing than ever. It has also gotten bigger. Almost looks like a huge sacrificial ritual. Mari has followed you along without hiding this time, as she carefully goes into the circle with you, despite looking quite afraid and unsure.
As you all took your usual places, the center lights up. The teen appears and gives you all a clearly fake smile.


"Welcome, welcome ladies and gentlemen, who are now just leftovers of how many you used to be. You are here to find out the truth of this situation, aren´t you? Well. Allow me to be nice for once~"


The teen then raises her hand, and lets the energy glow furiously. White light blinds you all for a moment, and when you regain the eyesight...

...You see the ghosts of all the dead people. Murdered and executed. Everyone are here.

Dead people can now participate the trial with all the little knowledge they have.


"Let us have fun now, shall we? Entertain me! Show me what you know and show me the hope that you all bear! I will utterly crush and destroy it!"

Feeling around in the pockets, it seems like you still all have your items. Might be useful to present it around again and gain info, that you might have missed.
Straightening your backs, you all fill yourselves with courage and get ready to face the final round.



And I repeat... Dead people are actually allowed to post! Go ahead and discuss.

Your goal for this trial is:
- Find out what happened to Yume and Eri
- Find out the true mastermind/masterminds
- Figure out Mari´s source of power
- Appeace the current source of malice

Keep using your plot evidence and combine them further, to discover the true story that took place.
Mari and the teen are both here to react/bring out their own statements. Take advantage of that, if you want.
Trial lasts for 2-3 days. Asking for slight extention is allowed.
Again, this game has multiple endings. It is up you all, on what you get.

"Im back... I don't see the point of bringing me back to solve your dumb game only to have me go back to being dead afterwards but... i guess its something to do, ill bite."

Keliana glares at everyone

"ALRIGHT, NOT ONLY AM I ROYALTY BUT IM ALSO DEAD, WHICH MEANS I GET DOUBLE THE RESPECT, now what i want you all to do, is present anything you found that may be related to the case, im talking events that happened when you entered a room, retell them, any items, perhaps ones that specifically glowed a certain colour, even if you dont have them anymore, present them as well. I have a feeling that its gonna take everything weve got for this, and by eveything weve got i mean effort, and physical objects. To start, the only object i came into contact with is a glowing keychain, it may or may not matter at which time we got them but ill state anyway i got it during the third night. That is all."

"Tch! So this is it then..."

Sayo then takes a deep breath before continuing...



"Alright. Allow me to start the discussion by stating whose who here and what happened. Now first of all. Ms. Pink Haired B**** over here is Yume Mizuno and then we have Eri Kurona whose Yume's best friend/classmate. You both decided to hang out at Manten Aquarium one day to have fun but then something went horribly wrong didn't it? From what I know. You two probably got separated at one point and Eri was trying to find Yume. That's when she met Mari who helped her go look for Yume. Eri then found a note from which I believe was written by Yume to come meet her at the Director's Office which was hidden underneath the Tunnel Tank. Somehow they both met at the Director's Office where Yume wanted to show Eri something and that was the Deep Sea Booth, a hidden room underneath the Director's Office. However, they were probably unaware of the dangers that lay beneath it despite warnings from the staff of that specific room being dangerous... While I don't know the exact events that took place down there but from what I can tell, when you both went down there, something terrible happened and Eri suffered a horrible death by something, probably by some sea creature that broke loose there. I'm not sure what happened to Yume or Mari during that time as their bodies were never found but we can probably assume they died as well..."

[Sara Soul]

Kanaya looked around, nervous yet calm. This was it. This was really it. After this, they have the chance of going home.

"Alright, well...It seems we have to do is figure out who trapped us here, right? That's all we have to do? I...believe we can do that. No, I know we can. We just need to use our heads"

She smiles then frowns a little.

"Sadly, the only thing I collected about this place was stolen from me..."

She glances at Takiji's ghost

"But I do remember everything I know about it! It was a beautiful blue rose, I'm sure you all have seen it. It emitted this aura of grief, yet also relief. I had gotten it when I fell into the tank, just before I lost conciousness. And while I was passed out, I heard Mari's voice telling me that the rose represented sadness and grief, yet acceptance and a will to move forward. I asked her about it earlier and she told me she made it with someone who was referred to as 'she'. The girl she was referring to was in such sorrow and guilt, that they made the rose for the person who died here, so they could pass on without malice. But...it sadly didn't work...they were too late."

She looks at the ground sadly, then back up at everyone.

"That's...about it. I also found a note in Penguin Area, but I believe Theodore can tell you more about it. He does have the note with him, after all."

[Hosh]

Takiji's ghost had appeared before you, ignoring Mikan's one.

"Ah, yes. All I know is that there's a huge whale in one of the tanks, even though the tank isn't supposed to be that big. However, I doubt the whale is the mastermind, so I don't think it's that relevant."

[Izumiko (Emi)]

"Allow me to point one little detail out..."


"The Red Manten aquarium already existed when the incident happened. And... Are you sure you know who I am? Hmpf. I am dead. That is for freaking sure!"

[Sara Soul]

Kanaya stared at the pink haired teen

"Could you...be the one who they made the flower for...?"

[Misaki]

"Tch! Well like I mentioned, we never found your corpse so we really can't confirm if your dead or not. And I'm pretty sure your Yume Mizuno. I found a student ID of a girl who looks just like you with that name unless I'm missing something here..."

"In any case. So perhaps you and Eri both already ended up in Red Manten Aquarium prior to the incident though it was probably wasn't always 'red'. And I think I know the real reason you tried to kill me back at the Deep Sea Booth when I found Eri's corpse. Because you were trying to hide a dark secret and that is...you felt you were responsible for Eri's death... It only makes sense since since you were the one who brought her down there despite that place being dangerous and you must have felt intense grief and regret for what had happened. And we know that emotions can affect this place so perhaps your emotions were so strong that you were consumed by them and as a result of that, this place turned you into the monster you are now..."

[Oliver Kirkland]

"All I got was this note that says, "While I was searching for my friend, I saw some girl with long hair and a blue winter coat running somewhere. It´s weird to see someone with a winter coat in the middle of summer. I will follow her." and I am sure Mari and this b***ch are not the only one. There has to be someone else here. I do not know, but I would know... IF I GET MY GLASSES BACK!"

[Jay Braavs]

"I found a note written by an unknown person. They said that they have no clue how another girl and Mari died. But she felt bad about it and wished she had done more. And something about emotions. Don't know if that helps any. Maybe this means that the person who wrote the note is innocent?"

"From what she said, and what the assassin just mentioned then, i have reason to believe that this pink haired girl is the one who died first, her friend grieved for her, and made this rose with someone else to help her pass, but it didn't work... Which explains why this pink girl here is such a bitch, i then believe that some event happened and the other girl, the pink girl's more calm, friendly counterpart also died in this aquarium, and that's where this blue chick comes in, she clearly knows pink girl, and fits the bill for her other friend. Now this next part may sound a little far-fetched and it is a bit of a stretch but, i believe the blue girl brought us here, to help pink girl's spirit to pass, because she still cares about her friend, and she has some sort of idea as to how we could help. Going on from what the assassin said, i believe that these two had a third friend, who had some sort of involvement in this, but we haven't seen her around so she may not be dead. For these reasons i believe that the masterminds are Mari, and this pink girl."

((OOC: im sorry if my post seems half assed, ive been a bit too busy to be following the story very closely, i feel like im onto something but im sure i missed some details so feel free to branch off of this theory and fill in some of the holes))

Mikan stood there quietly looking sad. "I-I-I'm so-sorry T-Takiji...I-I f-felt so m-much a-anger w-within m-me. A-and I'm sorry for th-the r-rose." Mikan stuttered sadly. "I-I d-don't think I can b-be of an-any a-assistance.

[Cathell Ward]

*Cathell remains silent, looking down, with an intense feeling of Anger and Dissapointment, he looks at his blade...a small tear drops onto it*

(Cuz I can't wait for Emi to respond...)

Sayo listened to others speak then makes a sudden realization...



"Wait a min... Something isn't right here... According to Kanaya: Mari said she and a girl who was in grief and sadness and created the blue rose for the one who died here so they can pass without malice but were too late. Other than Mari, the only other person that I can confirm to be dead is Eri Kurona. That means the one who wrote the notes Kanaya and Jay found could have only be written by Yume and she wanted to help Eri pass on. If that is the case though then why did Yume become filled with malice if she wanted to help Eri pass on? I think I may have a theory for that though it sounds crazy and have no proof of this. Before I state it, let me revise what I think happened from the beginning."

Sayo pauses for a moment then continues.



"Alright so it all started when Yume and her friend Eri decided to spend the day at Manten Aquarium. But then weird stuff began to happen and they were transported to Red Manten Aquarium. They look around but at some point, they got separated for some reason. While Yume went looking for her friend, she met a little girl named Mari and they both went together to look for Eri. At some point, they found the Staff Room where she learned about a secret room hidden underneath the Tunnel Tank which was the Director's Office. Curious about what's down there, she left behind a note for Eri to meet her at the Director's Office then set off to investigate the secret room..."

"Eventually, she and Mari eventually accessed the Director's Office. While they were searching around, Eri had also met up with them at some point. They then find a trapdoor that leads into the Deep Sea Booth. Despite knowing the dangers, their curiosity got the better them and they ventured down into the Deep Sea Booth. I'm not sure what exactly happened down there but my best guess is that Yume and Eri were attacked by a strange phenomena. Yume managed to escape but Eri wasn't so lucky as she died a horrible death and her mutilated body still lies in the Deep Sea Booth until now..."

"With the death of Eri. Yume was overcome by grief and sadness at the loss of her friend and she wished she could have done more to save her. That is when she and Mari decided to create a special blue rose which represented grief and sorrow and was mean't for Eri so she could pass on without malice. However it didn't work and they were too late..."

Sayo pauses for a moment before continuing.



"Now assuming what I just stated was more or less what happened, I once again pose the question: What happened to Yume and why she is filled with such malice? While the answer may sound crazy but with everything that has happened so far, its not outside the realm of possibility. With that said..."

Sayo then turns to the pink haired girl.



"I think I know who you really are now. Yume Mizuno...or should I say Eri Kurona! Yes that's right! Your not actually Yume Mizuno but the malevolent spirit of Eri Kurona who took possession of her body! Why do I think so? Well remember how Mari and Yume created a rose to ensure the dead pass on without malice? Since you Eri was the one who died and since the rose didn't work on you, your spirit couldn't pass on and thus you became filled with malice. And because this place channels emotions, your malice only grew stronger to such an extent that your even able to control Red Manten Aquarium itself. So what do you have to say for yourself?"

[Cathell Ward]

*Cathell looks up at Sayo and smiles sincerely, a tear line still on his face* ...You always were the smart one, werent you? Well...considering I see no other possible outcome...I agree.
