Well, well, well. This was a much better showing. A few of you even rose up above the level of the rest of the 0's.
Of course, doing the work right doesn't matter if the answer is wrong.
Execution: Connect the Dots
Savage finds himself on some very large graphing paper; so large, he can lie down between any two points. Savage picks up a very large pencil lying on the ground next to him, and hears Sho's voice:
"You have 5 minutes to complete this 400-number connect the dot, or be executed."
Bracing himself, Savage finds the first number, and makes a mad dash to start the connecting. On to the second, third, fourth, and so on he does, seemingly moving faster than a hurricane. He sets the pencil down after completing the puzzle - with two-and-a-half minutes to spare.
"Well done" Sho says, "It seems your plotting skills are as masterful as you'd have us believe. But what exactly did you plot out?"
Tracing his steps, and keeping a mental picture, Savage starts over at the first point, moving to the second, the third, the fifth, - wait, no, the fourth, then the fifth, the sixth, and so forth. Savage doesn't get a clear picture of what he drew, so he tries again; starting at 1, moving to 2, 3, 4, 5, 86, - wait, what? Savage doesn't remember 86 being where point 6 should be. He starts over - and finds that the same thing happens at point 281, where he instead finds point 154. Over and over he counts and counts and counts, regardless of hunger, or tiredness, or any other needs. Then Savage realizes that all dots are one. We are all one dot. Your dot is not my train but my coconut milkshake is banana bread's storage cabinet. The meaning of life has been revealed, and Savage walks off into the sunset, consuming him instantly.
You know the drill, Blackened.
As for everyone else. Thank you for a much better Trial, even though ya still were wrong. I have plans to make the next one even better, so long as you all continue being as diligent as you were this time.
A couple tips for the future:
- Camera feeds are important. Hackers probably shouldn't be doing anything else.
- Ask as many questions as possible while investigating bodies. There may be more than meets the eye, even with a thorough search, unless you really start specifically looking for/at stuff.
