As everyone woke up for a new day, they felt... off. Like a sudden sense of dejavu. As you went about your day and talked, the sense wouldn't go away. At that moment the monitor came on showing Monokuma.
"Attention bastards! The current 'Host' of the school is calling a meeting to the gym. What could it be? Upupupu, time to find out! Get over here now!"
The screen shut off and everyone hesitantly headed to the gym. Again the sensation wouldn't leave. Why? Why does everything seem familiar?
As you all entered, you saw Enrico waiting by the podium looking really angry.
"You are trying my patience. Three days and not a single death." Three days? That can't be right. Gypsum was just executed yesterday, right? "Allow me to explain your new motive. Every night as you go to bed. I will come in one by one and remove all memories of the previous days events. I will do this over and over until either one of you snaps and kills. Or actually manages to figure out a way to kill and not fail like the first night."
"Upupupu! Dahahaha! Oh man that was hilarious! Never had I seen such a spectacular failure of a murder attempt. Too bad you bastards will never know what it was since the point is that you only have our word that you are effectively repeating the same day. Though maybe you can sense it?"
"In any case, I suggest you tread carefully if you decide to murder. Or in general. After all. How can you be sure that what you do or say isn't the same as before?" As Enrico and Monokuma dismissed everyone, you all wonder. Is it true? It certainly is possible, he has shown his powers are real. But surely no one would kill because of this. It isn't like a true time loop.
No. What isn't disturbing is the fact that Enrico is erasing everyone's memories every night. What is, is the fact that they both claimed that one of them already tried to kill again. Is it something said to put everyone on edge? Or is there another potential killer here?
