This night was horrible. Your mood was atrocious, you didn't want to sleep, and you felt sick.

Of course, you figured that wasn't the case for all people.

This time, Monokuma did not appear on the announcements. It was Junko, again.



"Tch. Idiots. A body has been discovered. Actually, two. Please head to the incinerator to see your despairingly dead student."

...What?

No, it can't be. Not another one of the tight bonds you made with a student shattered...? Could it be?

Not even despair was an adjective at this point. It was defeat.

You look at what appears to be the sight of something horrific - Chever... was dead! It appears that some sort of trap or something went on last night, but the blackened truly had fun with this...

But that wasn't the end of this horrific pain you felt. Mora was tied up by Sonia, and left on the third floor. Because she technically didn't kill him, and he did not sleep in his dorm, he was killed... 

That loophole just made pure anxiety fill in your heart. It wasn't one friend. It was two.

Sonia closed her eyes, starting to cry. She didn't mean to leave Akama there.. she thought he would have got out.



"I-i'm sorry Akama... I didn't mean for this to happen..."

Sonia went to investigate the body, doing an in-depth on it.

Bambi was slumped over Aqua's shoulder, tears pricking her eyes. One of her hands was missing.

"I... need to help... help..."

Saitama had changed. He would no longer be a hero who was never recognized. He would never be considered average again. He was tired of never receiving praise or being acknowledged for his deeds. And he would never be empty anymore. Why?

Despair.

For the first time in years, Saitama finally felt emotion. It was like fire rekindled in his heart. No way in hell would he ever go back. Not like he ever wanted to. He threw his head back and laughed, one filled with despair. The only real way to gain popularity, was to become the villain. No longer would Saitama be the SHSL Average Hero, now he would be the SHSL Average Villain. One day, he would outgrow the average part. One day...

"Finally! Those idiots died! Not like they were useful anyway. I'll check the crime scene. Of course I would love to examine this trap, and critique it."

"I can't.. pray this time..."


After stating this, Bambi raises her good arm and flicks a lighter in it. For a few moments, nothing happens. But then suddenly, something comes out of the lighter. The flames take the shape of a person , and Bambi shoves herself off of Aqua, following the flame projection.

Florence was gleeful in the sight of another Despair; that is, Saitama.

"Finally! One that I can teach Honor to!" she turned to Bambi, who was suffering. "You! Your Despair is not evident, and your lack of Honor disgusts me! I challenge you!"

There was a moment of silence.

"...Uh. I guess you were Honorable for the night. Hmph. I'll investigate the School Store, then," she said, before leaving.

Bambi's eyes lit as if flames were within them, her projection of fire standing... right next to Saitama.


"I wonder how someone who just got here knows it's a trap."

Saitama clasped his hands together, running calculations through his intelligent bald head. Something clicked. He started laughing. Slowly, he clapped, exactly like an evil mastermind would.

"Oh, you sly devil. Quite inexperienced compared to a genius like me, of course..." he muttered. "I have the murderer, but like a true villain, I'll wait to give my monologue before I unleash my killing blow."

Upon learning that two of her classmates are dead...Sparkling Justice collapsed to the ground and held to her mask...



"What..What is this madness?!?! This evil...is far greater than I originally anticipated..."



"But even still! I must not succumb to evil and if justice ever disappeared from this world... The world would immediately freeze, and people's smiles would vanish... I... will not allow that... for I am Sparkling Justice! The center of justice that is pierced by justice! The lead star of justice that shines in the darkness! And in the name of sparkling shining justice, I WILL ELIMINATE ALL EVIL FROM THIS WORLD AND SHINE THE WORLD WITH THE LIGHT OF JUSTICE!"


"Now I shall be off to investigate the Infirmary and another room FOR JUSTICE!"

She couldn't help but feel distressed at this point. She quickly left to investigate the security camera footage.

Florence returned from her investigations, clearly annoyed with the results. She signaled the fellow Despair over, and they headed to a corner to converse. Both Saitama and Florence began laughing uncontrollably in Despairing fits, a Despairing smile plastered on both of their faces.

Sonia tilted her head, giving a confused look in Bambi's direction

"Why go there?"

Bambi had no hesitation in answering this.

"It was the last place... I was with him there when he was alive. Just.. check it okay? And the extra library room too." she replied.

"Ah, don't be down everyone. We have managed to solve two of these. Surely we can solve this one. But still another trap? I hope the blackened was the person who set it up this time. And also normally this would be the part where I say I can't wait to see whose hope will win this time, ours or the killers.

"But honestly I am still worried about the traitor. They will most likely try to disrupt the trial in the name of despair instead of hope. And I can't have that. So I suggest you keep an eye out for anyone trying to... do anything suspicious while investigating."
