Raised as the daughter of the Godfather of an Italian Mafia, Eliza enjoyed a lavished lifestyle. Her mother left her at a very young age, but her father was able to care for her well, as he was the head of a successful criminal organization. Still, as his business was first priority, Eliza's father sometimes was unable to spend time with her, and often left her to the care of other members of the Mafia. One day, her father decided to adopt a boy around her age. Eliza was confused why such a quiet individual from an orphanage would be allowed the honor of being in her family's household. Well, her new 'brother' was very obedient, and kept out of anyone's way, so she eventually stopped bearing much hatred towards him.
The fateful day came when Eliza attended a meeting with her father. Unfortunately, her father and many high-ranking members of the Mafia were assassinated, in front of her eyes. Witnessing such scarred her, the trauma left her a paranoid insomniac. With help from her brother, who had inherited the organization, and the inheritance she had gained, Eliza left to America, to escape the life she had lost. And there, she became a master survivalist. Her reputation as such has made her target of many assassinations, and she has survived all attempts. Of course, this would eventually reach Hope's Peak Academy, and they scouted her.
