Moreover, I'd just like to point out that the coffin was moved between the Gym and Pool with a body inside. It's not like just anyone can lift a coffin with a body inside on their own. Tsu, you're the only one who has been shown to lift the coffin inside. As far as anyone knows, you're the only one able to do that.

Using your own claim, the killer is likely to be blunt because of the evidence left by the coffin. The cuts on her face would also implicate a sharp proficient as well. While Blue Snow is a blunt proficient, however she is not proficient in sharp weapons. You fit into both these categories. Right now, you're the most likely suspect in my book. Tsurugi, I accuse you of being the blackened!

Oh, Teiji...did you not consider that the recorder was placed in the pool? Code himself testified that he heard something moving in the pool while he was setting up the candles. That's highly indicative that the blackened laid out the voice recorder with Siren screaming. Also, since Amelie and I both jumped into the pool as we heard Siren's scream, the water splashed off into the voice recorder, meaning that Blue Snow was still perfectly capable of committing this crime. However, I suppose you are right in the sense that Amelie and myself should both be considered suspects, but I believe that since Amelie brought up the recorder when she could have easily hidden it, she should be considered innocent.

I understand the suspicion towards Hero but consider the following: 
Code was rather out of it, extremely focused on the funeral, had no one to confirm his whereabouts for a long amount of time, and was at the pool before the rest of us.
He had ample time to give Siren the note and get to the Gym.  He's a Blunt user and would be able to incapacitate Siren by smashing her head against the coffin. 
He'd be able to do everything stated in Teiji's timeline on the previous page.
The only thing that doesn't fit would be getting the coffin from the Gym to the Pool.


At this time I formally accuse Code as our Blackened.

I can't believe it took this long for me to find such an obvious contradiction.

From what we know, Siren was attacked in the gym via the coffin, a blunt weapon. This attack only knocked her out, and she later died of a heart attack.

But if I, a blunt/projectile user, had attacked her with the heavy coffin, Siren would have died!

Quite the opposite.  Being a blunt user, you'd have the best control over your powers and would be able to differentiate how much force would be necessary to simply incapacitate her.

As for why you left her alive?  I have no idea.

Well supposedly it wasn't very long before the Funeral, and it'd help to have a way to skew who was the actual killer.
Course Cold ended up telling the true cause of death anyway.

You say that, and yet ignore the evidence I just put in front of you. Picking and choosing isn't the way a lawyer would do it.

There's more to it, to. The sharp cuts on Siren's face are presumably from the splintered coffin. That's evidence she was hit forcefully enough and (probably repeatedly) that she should have died. There's no way a blunt user would have done that and not kill her.

I researched how much the blackened would have had to lift to successfully transfer Siren in the coffin back to the pool...260+ lbs up stairs no less...not happening...but I am done...
