Well, I will admit there is one scenario where my argument is not completely sound. And that is if the culprit prepared 3 notes, one for each room, and one for the murder scene to frame Cloud. However, given that both victims knew about the archery tournament beforehand makes me believe that both had come into contact with the culprit. Otherwise both of them receiving a note and coincidentally discussing the archery tournament doesn't make sense. They must have been aware of the culprit sending the notes to them in order to have openly discussed the tournament.
I'm not too sure what wounds qualify as "blunt" or "faked blunt", and what the distinction is, but for the sake of reaching a conclusion I will assume that the wounds in this murder were "blunt". In the case that the wounds are "faked blunt" then you are absolutely correct, Alexander. Jay, Arckas, and myself are the only possible suspects, since only we would be able to hide a pen so well on a staircase.
I propose that if Cloud is not the culprit, we move into the next trial with this suspect list and premise. Jay, Arckas, and myself will be under the most suspicion. However, let's all just kill off Cloud now since they've obviously fallen into despair, and we don't need any of that when we're on the road to hope!
In other words, there are 2 routes for this murder.
BLUNT PREMISE: The wounds on Noklu are actual blunt wounds. In this case, Cloud is the most likely killer.
FAKE BLUNT PREMISE: The wounds on Noklu were faked and are not actually blunt wounds. In this case, I'd say Arckas is most suspicious (Jay has been inactive and I'm obviously not suspecting myself).
We should plan accordingly and aim to catch the murderer within this trial and the next one. Feel free to accuse me of being the culprit too, I am suspicious after all. But I feel like this uncreative string of murders has gone on long enough and want to put an end to it.
