Escape Room 1 - A Brief Lounge

Hello Everyone! And welcome to the first ever Dumb Bug Escape Rooms (name pending)"

I will be your host, Nincada (Or Vaellin if you will)

Since this is our first time doing this, allow me to explain some details.

The plan is to hold an escape room every month, or at least every other month, excluding the month of December as we will be doing DDD during this time. Puzzles will vary in difficulty and theme but, to be honest, this little bug isn't planning on killing anyone (that she knows of at least). 

Sign ups will always be capped at 5 with the exception of a pair allowing it to go to six.

Rules for each room will depend on the room itself and will include some tips and tricks on how to solve it!

Pictures--including maps--will be included as well! Sign ups will occur within the first week of the month (typically the first weekend) and you'll be given 5-7 days to solve it. Schedule will be included.

And with that, allow me to explain the rules for the upcoming room!

Rules:

- No keys or solutions will be used twice in a room. Once used once, you can discard it

- Nothing will need to be broken for this room to work and deliberately breaking something will result in a penalty

- The briefcase contains the code to get out.

- Trial and error will never get a code to work (i.e. trying every number up from 001 on a lock), you must KNOW the answer

- Hints will be included in the room. Nothing is there without a purpose.

- No personal items allowed

Schedule:

Signups go from 10am July 31st Pacific to 10pm August 2nd Pacific (or 60 hours from the time of this post)

Game will start around 12pm August 3rd Pacific (Specifically after my tabletop game ends)

Five people awaken in a lounge, Clover and Vincent on the floor while Ganyu is on the upper couch next to a small bug plushie and Vex and Nagi reside on the western couch.

They immediately take in their surroundings. There's three doors. The two to the north, however, pale in comparison to the one in the south which has "Exit" painted on it.

Other things in the room include the coffee table with a vase of flowers and a brief case on it. To the east there's a desk complete with desk drawers. There's a wall mounted phone (pretend the shield is a phone) along with a poster with righting on it to next to the eastern door and a painting next to the western door.

"I'm so glad you're awake! I was getting to worry that the nap might be permanent. I do not plan on anyone dying so that would be an awful start to the game!"

The bug plush seems to be speaking. Or more specifically, there's a speaker somewhere in its fluffy body.

"Welcome to the Dumb Bug Escape Rooms! I hope you all are ready to have fun! The job is simple, escape the room! There are some simple rules, but I'm sure you all can follow them! Otherwise it's just solving puzzles and getting out! Feel free to explore the room! Have fun! Don't die! Good game! All that stuff!"

Reminder of the rules:

Nagi immediately reaches into her pocket for her cell phone, but comes up empty-handed. She squeezes the little plush anime character hanging from her backpack.

"Must... get out of here... There's only one day left to pull the newest Lord Tomonami skin, part of the Summer 20XX banner... My pity rate is at an all-time high, too! I have a 2.65% chance with every pull... But if I can't get out of here in time... Agh!"

She jumps up and runs over to the desk, opening all the drawers and searching inside.

Vex gets up and checks the table in the middle:
* Checks inside the briefcase.
* Looks underneath the table.
* Check the vase by rising it to see if there's anything below.
* Check the vase by seeing if there's something inside the vase. (Sorry flowers).

* Checks underneath the couches.

Ganyu yawns as she wakes, "That was a nice nap." She takes a nice long look around, "Oh dear, has cloud retainer decided to build another strange area?" She pets the bug for a while (to feel if there is anything within or notes hidden on it).

The Brief case is locked! There appears to be a three digit dial on it required to open the case

There is a note taped to the bottom that reads: The briefcase contains the way out

The vase cannot be lifted. It appears to be glued to the table but you do see the flower in it!

The couches don't seem to have anything underneath but removing the cushions reveal two plates of different shaped buttons:

The Poster next to the eastern door contains a message reading "Call me a flower!"
Underneath it is also a ten digit space for writing, but only the first two numbers are filled in:
1 (2 _ _) - _ _ _ - _ _ _ _

The portrait next to the western door has the image of a girl and a message underneath reading "They say she has stars in her eyes."

You feel the speaker located on the mouth plush but otherwise it does not seem to have any other things on it.
"Heh! That tickles!"

Ganyu carries the dumb bug around and wanders to the flowers. Looking at the bunch she muses, "Do you think they're edible?" Check for any patterns or markings on the flowers.
