Putting the "mini" back in minigame! In and out, 1 day adventure!
This is a test of the combat system for a future main game. Only 4 players are needed.
Premise
It's the final battle! The Lich Queen has been cornered in her evil fortress, and the Four Heroes are finally about to put a stop to her! But is everything really as it seems...?
Rules
You will be given a map of the battlefield on Google Sheets.
The battle is split into Player Phase and Enemy Phase.
On Player Phase, you make a post in the main thread saying what you wish to do.
E.g. "I move to square B3 and cast Fireball on the bandit."
There is no particular order to player phase. Whoever makes their post first gets their action processed first, so make sure to discuss strategy beforehand.
On Enemy Phase, I act out the enemy's turn in the same way. When Enemy Phase is finished, it returns to the Player Phase.
You will be given several stats, weapons and skills to use in the battle.
Each turn, you can move a number of squares equal to your speed and either attack, or use an item, or use a skill.
If 12 hours have passed since the beginning of Player Phase and you have not made an action, your turn will be skipped.
Stats
HP - Your health. When this reaches 0, you die.
MP - Your magic points. Most skills take away from this.
Strength - The power of your physical attacks.
Magic - The power of your magical attacks.
Defense - A measure of your defense against physical attacks.
Resistance - A measure of your resistance against magical attacks.
Speed - The amount of tiles you can move in a single turn.
