"Hello there. I am the one referred to as He Who Tells Stories. Or as the Storyteller. At one point I even disguised myself as a being called Godhood. Some of you may recognize me. Most of you are probably too brand new for that one game I help hosted.

"Today I have been summoned to host a new game. Though not one of life and death. Though be warned. Your choices could result in a such a case. But at the very least this won't be another killing game...

"No, instead we will be visiting an altogether different reality. The one that the Godhood I pretended to be hails from even. In this reality, all myths are true. Everything possible exists. Monsters, aliens, advanced science, magic, other planes of existences, gods, Devils, etc. It is all real here. And there are many factions that serve to protect the innocent. But none as involved as Masquerade Inc. An organization dedicated to protecting all, uniting all, and preventing the normal human mind from realizing the horrors that lies beyond their sight.

"All further explanations will be given in game slash story. But first you must choose which three eras to join in.

"You can select the past. Ranging anything from before Masquerade Inc. was founded up to events that led to the emergence of several key figures and groups in this chaotic world.

"You can select the present just after the world has been struck by the biggest demonic invasion in the history of everything. Do not let Fortuna tell you who was responsible for that.

"Finally a possible future. That is after the fall of Masquerade Inc. And the end result of a post nuclear fallout that has forced the people of the world to create giant floating cities just to survive. And exploring a brand new generation of heroes.

"So? What are you waiting for. Make your choice."

"It appears that we will be sticking with the present. There are actually dozens of stories that take place in this era. Many different lives that could potentially shape what is to come. A variety of people who could and will shape what is to come. Perhaps in some cases, shape what has already happened?

"But I rather not overload you all with choices. So instead, I picked four that could be of most interest you. Some events take place before what is considered the Biggest Demonic Invasion in history. Some shortly afterwards. What is this Biggest Demonic Invasion exactly you may ask? Well, at least a couple of you know the details. Even lived through it, so to speak. They are free to share what happened. But I think it is best to learn it yourself through the game.

"Now first off is Exorcists. This deals with just a year after the invasion. Involving twins called August and June Hunt who awaken to powerful abilities. And either being guided to help protect the world. Or could potentially becomes its downfall...

"Next is Godhood. This is the origin of Alexander, the young man who becomes the one called Godhood. This actually takes place some time before the invasion. Perhaps we will even see how an almighty being such as him was doing when that went down. After all, with his power, he should have been able to stop it easily. ...right?

"Then we have Atonement. This takes place a few years after the Invasion and is about a man who considers he must forever atone for past mistakes. In this tale, he ends up having to protect a woman who has the key to the greatest power there is. A power so great that in the wrong hands it could spell the end of everything. And many people will do what they can to get it. But is he the one who should be protecting her? After all, what was it that he did that he feels do shameful about it? And should that secret some to light, will any of you think that he is capable of atonement in any possible way?

"Finally, we have Contract Holder. Contract Holders are people who made a contract with demons to share their power. Masquerade Inc. used to have hundreds of them. But they have been reduced to a mere couple dozen after the events of the Greatest Demonic Invasion and the Sponsor Tournament. And due to the presence of Hell in both events, their reputation is at an all time low.

"If you pick this story, we will be controlling a new Contract Holder. Just after these past two events. One who has to navigate a brand new world that had always existed beyond the corner of their eyes. And dealing with new abilities they have just been granted. You will go on missions to protect this world and meet new possible allies. But also potentially come to a terrible end if you are not careful...

"These are your four choices. Pick whichever you consider the most interesting. I shall be awaiting your final decision."

Contract Holder decided by coin toss.

He woke up confused and covered in blood. There are cuts all over his clothes, but he seemed to have no injuries. Though oddly enough... it seems that the blood came from spots on his body yet no source for where it could have flow from. Looking around, he realized there is a car nearby that had crashed into a pole with the front window broken. As though something crashed through it.

There also seemed to be a blood trail right behind him and looking around further showed the street was a wreck. Cars piled against each other and at least one was flipped upside down. People appearer to be injured or possibly dead. And there was... some guy wielding a sword checking on the survivors?

The hell? What is going on right now?

He decided it is best to help check on the survivors. After all, he is currently fine even though he has no clue how or why or whose blood is currently on him. He first went to a guy who was clutching his arm in pain as he leaned against a car.

"Hey what happened?" He asked the injured man.

"I- I don't know. Something came out of nowhere and... I think it flipped a car over. People tried swerving out of the way. And it lead to all this... whoa! Are you okay?! You look like a bigger mess than I am!"

1. "Do you have brain damage?"

Taking all this info in, he decides to try to recall what happened. And after a bit realized something. He remembers nothing. Not even his own name. Is this amnesia? Or is it something else? After all, he has no signs of injuries on himself despite the damaged clothes and bloodstains. What-

"Hoy!"

He turned around and saw the Otaku behind him.



"I said hoy!"

1. "Hoy?"
2. "What do you want, Otaku?"
3. "Can I help you?"
4. "This guy needs help, do you have a phone?"

"Uh, hoy?"

"Hoy!" He greeted with a smile before getting serious. "Get out of here now!"

"Huh, what? But shouldn't we call 911 fir-"

"The ambulance would just become more casualties," he interrupted. "The person responsible hasn't le-"

WAPOW!

"Wapow?" The guy with no memory asked as he heard the sound. Taking a second to realize the Samurai was gone. Instead in his place was a giant monster with its arm stretched out. It was then he realized there was a bunch of crashing noises. Looking to his right, where the creature's arm was extended towards, he saw a bunch of buildings each with a singular hole in them.

And it was all lined up to. Wait did this thing just... but it happened so fast! He didn't even see it! Oh crap! Now it is looking right at him and the guy with a broken arm!

1. Run like the wind, Bullseye!
2. Superman Punch!
3. Throw something at it!
4. Cope and cry.

The man could only get onto his knees and break down crying. This is all too much and too terrifying for him. This thing already moves faster than he could see. And it was strong enough to send a man flying through multiple buildings. How could he poss-

BAM!

He blinked as he found himself elsewhere. The environment has changed completely. It looked like... a hobby store? And there was a giant hole in the store. Right in front of him. The people inside seemed to be staring at him in shock for some reason.

1. "Did I get isekai'd?"
2. "Anyone catch the truck that hit me?"
3. "Ow..."
4. "Anyone gonna help?"

"D-did I just die right now?" He asked as he felt the pain of being smacked. Yet... it wasn't nearly as painful as it should have been. He thinks, but maybe that is because he actually is dead?

A little kid then started poking him at his question. "You seem okay to me."

"How?" He asked as he started to get up. Everyone suddenly took a step back in confusion and partial fear. Looking down, he saw that there was a red demonic aura covering him. And... it seemed to be healing him? The pain is going away now at least. What is happening to him-

"GAAAAANNNNHHHHH!" The monster roared as it landed right outside the store. Weird though... he could actually see it better now. It was still a blur, but he can actually see a blur jumping from the sky instead of nothing at all.

...wait a second! The monster is here and it is clearly looking right at him! Is it mad that he didn't become paste?! Crap, what to do now?!

Dammit, no time to think! He needs to distract it somehow. So he reached behind himself and grabbed the nearest thing. And tossed a... wait. What did he just throw?

The crowd, who has been standing mesmerized by fear of the monster was snapped out of it by the man's attempt to distract. Which was him ripping a piece of the wall in the back and throwing it! The absurd act causing them to finally run away as the beast stepped back and rubbed its nose in annoyance.

The man with no memories also decided it was best to leave via the hole he just made. Which was best since he has now pissed it off and it is coming at him! He had time to try to get away since it had to break the wall even more to make room.

"Dammit, what is going on?!"

"Looks like you need my help after all."

"Huh?! Who said that?!" As he asked that, he suddenly felt himself get a boost in speed.

"I can't tell you that or give you any answers. Not if you want to live."

"What how does that make sense?!"

"It is how it works with me. You need to solve it on your own. Solve things and you will unlock your true power."

3. "Agh, can I have hints then?!"
4. "Can I have advice on what to do here?!"

"Okay, any goddamn advice would be useful right now!" He shouted as just happened duck under a car thrown at him. "Holy s#!t, it's mad at me!"

"A simple quesiton for you to solve then, and don't get it wrong. Get it right and you should be able to beat this- oops almost told you what that monster is. That would have probably gotten you killed."

"What?!"

"If I give you answers, it is probably gonna have what it needs to beat you to a pulp."

"Why would you work like this?!" He shouted as he tried jumping over a swipe of the monster. And found himself high into the air as a result. "AHHHH!"

"Answer this question! When did you start getting these powers and what seems to increase them?"

"It isn't fear. I am feeling a good amount of confusion and anger right now. Yet I don't feel weaker. And it can't be less I know the stronger I get. I would be pretty strong right now because of my amnesia. Plus... wouldn't me trying to solve stuff make me weaker?"

"Excellent point. Watch out!"

"Huh? Gah!" He shouted as the monster had leaped after him. He was so focused on solving the question that he forgot to keep moving! Wait... "Stuff to solve! That's the answer! The more questions and unknown stuff I face, the stronger I get!"

At that, he suddenly felt himself become even lighter yet more powerful. The monster slowing down as it aimed a swing at him. "And wait. Solving these mysteries makes me even stronger on top of that?" He asked as it slowed down even more.

"Correct! Though solving them is a temporary boost. You will need to find more mysteries to hold onto and then solve in an emergency. Also, you only get the boost if you have confirmation it is right or have no doubt. If you are wrong, you become weaker instead. And if someone else solves it for you, you don't gain anything and lose the bonuses from holding a mystery in the first place."

4. "That's a stupid power."

Taking advantage of his burst in strength, he grabbed the monster and spun around until he is facing a safe direction. In this case, a forest surrounding the city. And then kicked with all his might.

**BOOM!**

And caused a huge crater!

"Holy sh- How strong am I?!"

"You could definitely break a good portion of the city right now. By the way it isn't dead."

He could see the voice was right. Also apparently being able to see far distances is part of his powers. Neat. Anyway. The monster, which got impaled by a tree, is still getting up. Even pulling out the tree and... healing itself? That's annoying.

"Hey, can I heal?"

"I know a spell that allows healing, but it isn't a passive like that guy's."

"Good to know."

1. "Wait did you say spell?"
2. Rush to monster
3. "Any advice?"
4. "Should I figure out what this creature is?"

"I can do magic?": 4

"Got anything else to add?": 0
"Should I try to make myself stronger?": 1

"Wait, I have access to magic?"

"Technically all of your powers are magic based. Though the mystery stuff are natural to me. I am capable of extending beyond those, at least."

"What else can we do?"

"Shouldn't we focus on the big hairy monster first?"

"Oh, right!" He then experimented by kicking in the air behind himself. And the force of the blow was so strong that the sonic boom sent him flying... and landing in front of the monster. Which has now finished regenerating and was holding a tree like a club and looking pissed. "Oh, that was a bad idea."

He then scrambled onto his feet as the monster went to slam the tree onto him. Only for... the Otaku guy to appear between them? And he seemed to be sheathing his sword.

"Hoy, this fight is now over." He said calmly as he put the blade away. "For this is your..."

Suddenly the creature burst open violently. At least it looked like it burst, but in reality, a giant cut had appeared.

OMEGA STYLE: SWAN SONG

It then fell over seemingly knocked out. The otaku- Samurai then looked at the amnesiac mam and gave a smile. "Hoy!"

3. "You stole my kill."
