"Perhaps we should go into detail to make it clear that the fire wasn't my doing. I wasn't quite ready to be awake yet, so immediately went to the library to fall asleep reading. Kurosaki, Egret, Honoka, Nona, and Sir Onion Knight entered the building with me."

"I pass Kurosaki while leaving the library. She had a new umbrella and scarf. Mr. Onion Head was walking through the main hall with had a bowl of something. He was headed in the opposite direction from me. Pup passed me at the vestibule, heading inside the building. Oh yes, the vestibule candles were on at this point. For some reason, they were out by the time of investigation. For some reason, there was hay all over the infirmary. We pranced along the shelves and accidentally created a small ocean in the doctor's office. A drawer seems to have been emptied of basic medical supplies, although we could not tell what exactly."

"We went to the back room of the church after, and saw the heretical onion covering the statue when we stopped to give the goddess our nightly praising..." She spots a few (that she misinterprets as) skeptical looks and goes, "What? The moon reflects the light of the sun so we can totally praise the sun at night. Hmph."

"Anywayyy, we go to the furnace room after. We grab the whip while passing the stables and set it on fire. Why don't they have better whips here?"

"Making the most with what we have, we create flaming swirlies in the night. They were pretty. I think we spooked Sonia though. She was at the doorway of the grand hall shouting about a party. We want to go make some fire art first though and zoom along to the drawing room to play with flaming paint. Did you know paint can catch fire? I didn't! Umm, sorry about the wallpaper."

"Having finished our masterpiece, we head off to the grand hall. Onion rings came from the ballroom and headed in with me. Sonia was already inside. Someone made a swing on the chandelier. What monster would create such a fire hazard? It was fun though. Honoka runs in shouting about a fire, and Egret shoots Layers with a crossbow. A weird bird starts screaming and the party is all ogre now."

The items involved in this murder was a Threatening Note and you-guessed-it the Crossbow bolt.

But as you might know well, the blackened is selected at the beginning of the night, dearies!

The Goddess herself possessed my body and She picked Sonia because she has clear witch powers. Unfortunately they also helped her here.

"What do you mean by the goddess possessed your body and picked me?"

"Also some things have been established. Master Onion died last, the note and crossbow are the key tools to his death retrieved from the storehouse and garden shed respectively. The final blow was delivered by Egret and I was the intended target."

"Ehh... My alibi might help, I guess. I went into the Vestibule with Egret, Honoka, Eity, Tamaki and Master Onion. Then into the Coat Room. This room is filled, with coats, hats, umbrellas and scarfs.

"I then grabbed an umbrella and a scarf from the Coat Room and then head into the main hall. Egret left the Closet with a broom and head towards the Grand Hall and Nona leave the Steward's Office. Walking towards the Library, Nona turns into the drawing room and Tamaki is heading out. At one point Master Onion walks in holding a bowl of something and goes out the door towards the church".

"Then left Library and enter the Drawing Room. Pup's inside making coloured drawings with his paws. At one point Nona leaves the private prayer room and leaves towards the Main Hallway".

"Pup grabs his drawings with his mouth and runs out of the Drawing Room towards the Main Hallway. I checked the lock on the Private Prayer Room, it can only be locked from inside. Currently no one is inside. It's a soundproof room, there is a Goddess Statue, a fluffy mat, rose petals and candles. As well as someone has drawn a drawing of a Cherry Blossom and it's underneath the statue. I left the Drawing Room and head to the Stewards Room. It's a fairly neat and tidy office. Like this office has never been used before. Some colouring pencils have been taken as well as some paper".

"Leaving the Steward's Office I enter the Main Hall, Brickster leaves behind me. Sonia is inside, she tells me that the next hour she's throwing a party in there. Egret enters the Grand Hall from outside. In the kitchen, a lot of food is missing, and the fridge is empty. But the kitchen has been cleaned recently. There is a bin bag in here, it's filled with lots of squished cupcakes and sloppily chopped vegetables. I hid under the table. Not long after Brickster walks in. After a couple of minutes later he sets the pasta on fire. He then grabs the spaghetti, runs to the Butler's Pantry and starts throwing it in. At one point he notices a pack of matches on the side and makes a verbal "Oh well" sound, before continuing to throw the pasta in the Butler's Pantry. The Pantry is visibly filling with smoke".

"After Brickster leave the Kitchen. I proceed to fill pots and pots of water to put out the fire. There's nothing missing in the Butler's Pantry".

"Brickster being an a-hole, does he want to burn the building down? What is with people's obsession to start a fire anyways?"

My ability is to dodge... dangerous actions commited against me (that would include killing).

The crossbolt message threatened me with my life! And told me to choose!

But why should I dodge the arrow and ruin the fun?... Especially when somebody was full of it?

Oh princess! Maybe you were so full of yourself, laughing all around, because maybe you'd knew you can't be endangered? If you are oh so truthful, you wouldn't destroy the last fragments of my soul by not telling me your oh so beloved ability? Shoving somebody else under the figurative bus, perhaps? Hmmm? Or better said, make somebody take the blow instead of you.

If you don't mind me asking, what prompted you to hide under the table? Did you hear him intruding your sacred place? Or maybe the salt shaker couldn't take it anymore and jumped off?

Was the setup switched to the grand hall because of the party or was the grand hall always the plan?

The answer to this question changes whether or not I needed to have talked to the murderer Master Onion first and limits who it could be severely.

Also, I can actually clear Egret of Master Onions murder. He confessed to me as such in private due to my overwhelming charisma. I can confirm that his second and third actions were in the kitchen, preparing food and cleaning. He had no opportunity to get the note and crossbow to the Grand Hall by the time I saw him there."

Honoka has totally been paying attention. She seems to be on a downward spiral right now. She seems to pull something from out of her pocket.

"I would like to start with this vial here!"
She held up a vial filled with a green liquid.

"I would offer someone to drink it... But I already kinda did earlier. I was careful and too only a single dip of my tongue, but I immediately threw up."
She smirked.

"This came from the Doctor's office. This stuff was FLOODING the place! Upon entering for investigations, I noticed an overwhelming alcoholic scent in the room. With most of the poisons and medicines gone, save some tablet medications. There were also shards of glass too."

"The furnace however, just had scorch marks coming out of the furnace... Due to my expert tracking skills, I was able to conclude that only 2 people went to the furnace during the night!"

"As for Pup... You all pretty much heard the account for it, but let me share my perspective."

"Pup was laying over face down in the Vestibule. I turned him over and noticed flour on him along a deep stab wound in the middle. His paws were worn out, deep marks in circles around his wrists, but an even deeper similar mark around his neck. His face shows signs of asphyxiation, swelled tongue and discoloration."

"It would be possible that Pup was killed that way before anything else!"

Brickster grabs his (still rolling) head and starts playing basketball with it.

He clearly has trouble speaking under these conditions and quickly elects to start... eating instead?


"The scene was entirely scorched with the corpse lying on the remains of the piano, which is also on top of a carpet! This is relevant! The most burnt areas are the carpet, piano, body and the fireplace! This is important! The burns on the carpet (which is between the fireplace and the piano) stretch all the way on it. THIS IS MAGNIFICENT! There were three tiny shareds of glass near the fireplace, WHICH IS EXQUISITE! A wooden chair in the room was clealry moved in a hurry, and is DEFINITELY ABSOLUTELY SURELY USABLE TO BLOCK A DOOR, THIS IS UNNERVANT! Now for the most important part, the fireplace was used to dispose of evidence as it has a lot of redhot metal, shards of glass, chunks of plastic and some "melted material". The glass is small, material smaller than a hand, plastic is small and the metal... well gee whiz the metal is just a pool of metal mass! THIS IS TRULY DISCONBOBULATING STUFF!"

"Now onto the body itself! You see, the body is MOSTLY BURNT! LIKE FROM A FIRE. WOOSH! BARELY RECOGNIZED THE MAN, which frankly is surprising considering I don't think I ever took the time to look at the guy... I just knew you know... Some areas are NOT burned however! You see, his skin was a soft yet deep, dark yet mellow... cherry red... and it felt DIFFERENT FROM A BURN! He also has an indentation in his head! A couple centimeters wide, more than a knife, definitely from something H A R D! He also has a white liquid in his mouth (not too much (anymore (he probably swallowed it (and that probably killed him (if I had to guess ))))) AND in al ump in his pocket I found a small vial which ALSO HAS THE LIQUID. (15 cm vial, thin, 1 cm of liquid) Now I almost tasted it but I was stopped by forces beyond my control and instead deduced it is cyanide. Because I am smart. Yes I am."

Main Gardens

"The gardens were stuningly beautiful! The flowers! The trees! The polished stone path! The fountain! What ruined it though is the splashed water around the fountain!"

Kitchen

"The Kitchen had been deep cleaned recently as in SUPER clean! There was a bin bag near the pantry door that contained choppsed veggies and smashed cupcakes. an empty pot on stove with a slight burning smell coming from it, there were splash marks on the sink which suggests it had been used recently. A sharp knife was missing from the knife block, The fridge is also basically empty as in there's literally ZERO food left!"

What I (Nona) saw during the night:
A1: I went through the vestibule and into the main hallway with multiple people: Master Onion, Kurosaki, Egret, Honoka, and Tamaki. I went into the steward's office by myself and took some paper, a book, and colored pencils.

A2: I went to the prayer room. On my way, I saw:
- Egret come out of the closet with a broom and head towards the grand hall
- Kurosaki come out of the coat room holding an umbrella and scarf and go to the library
- Honoka come out of the drawing room

A3: I head to the kitchen, on the way I see:
- Kurosaki and Pup in the drawing room. Pup was making art
- Egret enter the grand hall from the kitchen, holding something covered by a plate
In the very messy kitchen, I saw Brickster laying in a pile of cupcakes and Satorae cleaning. Satorae then left the room while I proceeded to make myself a sandwich.

A4: I go the guesthouse. On my way I see:
- Honoka sneaking out of the butler's pantry
- leaving the kitchen, I bumped into Honoka, Sonia, Contract, and Egret.
- Sonia was almost knocked over, but I helped her. Then I helped her take her food to the grand hall

When I try to enter the guesthouse, the door is locked and the curtains are drawn. Then I noticed a red light. Quickly I realized that it was a fire! Smoke from the chimney didn't seem like enough for the size of the fire, but more and more smoke was starting to come out.

A5: I start shouting that there is a fire. Satorae appears. I then run to the main garden's fountain to soak myself in water, then run back to the guesthouse. By the time I return, Honoka appears. I throw a rock through the window, but there is too much smoke to safely go in.

A6: I climbed through the window and unblocked the door (a chair was in the way). Honoka ran off to the grand hall to get help. Satorae and I went into the guesthouse. We found Contract laying on a burnt piano. While we waited for other people to come, we heard a really weird bird call.

There was a second unused crossbow that was pointed straight at a note on a table. A fishing wire was attached and led off into the room. "Yeah. That's about it. I'll run through it myself but that lines up with what I found."

"On the floor was an unloaded crossbow, one used to kill Onion."

"At the back of the room was a table of food, and among the various items was a folded note. On the outside, had some ominous Kuma! like, 'Read or die'. Inside said something similar. Something like 'Count to five, turn around, choose a victim, shoot or die.' Makes me think one of two things."

"Now, either our killer is magic, and can somehow arrange that to work. The illusion they want to give off, for sure. Or, they were inside the Grand Hall after they heard the party was gonna be hosted there. Sonia, who did you tell that you were gonna host a party?"

"Now, speaking of a magical illusion, when I really first walked in, I saw the bolt stuck inside Onion fly back back near the crossbow. Talk about some trick hey? Magic ain't Kuma!. Gotta be some lie to it."

"But interestingly, right, there was a second crossbow in this room. Fully loaded, and connected to a piece of fishing line. It's sat in the window closest to the door leading to the Servant Courtyard. Though I couldn't tell what the line originally connected to, I can make a guess, given the other end connected to the firing mechanism."

"Now, I thought I would see if this crossbow did the same hocus-pocus bullKuma! as the one on the floor, so I shot it. And well, it fired in a straight line. But that's it. The fishing line came loose because of it."

"Gotta say, I think that the fishing line connected to the note on the table. Once it was picked up, there was some sorta timer mechanism with the fishing line which could count how long it had been. Maybe using string tension or some Kuma! like that."

"Just thinking out loud here, if there was another piece of fishing line that connected to the crossbow on the floor, then you could probably wire a deactivation mechanic. Once it's picked up, it means that our poor note reader has picked a victim and chosen to kill them, so there's no need to snipe them. Then, once Kuma! is interacted with, the wire detaches itself, probably some specific knot, and goes near-on invisible."

"How 'bout it? Anyone got a better idea?"

"Oh yeah. One more thing. All the Kuma!ing curtains in this room have been taken off the windows, and turned into a huge-ass swing in the middle of the room. The swing, by the way, it just next to Onision's body."

"Naturally, I tried it out. It was strong enough to support someone like me using it without collapsing and killing me."

"Having come from the Grand Hall, I remembered the note, and thought about whether or not Onion's killer visited here. Unless Onion's killer is also Pup's killer, which... hey, isn't exactly unlikely. They didn't visit here, as the note was written with pen, not pencil."

"As the astute observer may have noticed, I did not divulge the details of the Steward's Office. As it was a scan I couldn't get too many details but the only thing of note was that the office was clean and cleaned out! As in the drawers were open and empty."

"And I will note that, depending on the circumstances, Contract could still be a killer. From the courtyard, when I was heading to the infirmary and Rebecca was heading to the stables, he went to the main garden. Past that could very well be the store house."

"And if I didn't state it exactly, after that I was in the kitchen with a lot of others until Brickster threw cake at us, then I washed up in the female servant's quarters. I think someone noted that both were used? I was the source of the female's side.

"As you all know, I spent the rest of my time in the Grand Hall. I apologize if this is rehashing what I've stated earlier, I just want to make sure the information is stated plainly."
