After the horrors of last night, when the (captured) players are forced into the cafeteria, there is a heavy air in the room and not a small amount of angry glances sent Sue or Roroa’s way, the two who had killed the night before. Exhaustion, fear, and other more hidden but just as powerful emotions swirled among them.
Sue stands with her usual polite smile. She looks at the group before her, holding a few masks in her hands. The Chef Mannequin behind her notably does not have a mask on his face.
“Hello, players. Once more I welcome you to your second day on Naru Island. I do hope you enjoyed your rest. We’ve prepared a feast for the morning.” She waves back to the Chef Mannequin and several other mannequin come in, wheeling carts of food. Delicious smelling breakfast burritos, freshly baked pastries, steaming rice, and all sorts of food set out for all sorts of people.
“But before we start to consume, I do have an announcement to make. First is the top three individuals for points! As one might expect, Roroa is in this category! But the other two at the top of the list are Maki and Nedge Pepsi!” Sue’s expression doesn’t change and she stands stiffly as her tone sounds excited, not matching any other part of her body language.
“As for the bottom three! It is Power, Fuzz, and Constance! Gotta work to get those points up! You have quite a gap to fill. I recommend killing.”
Two mannequins wheel in a board, displaying all six people, three gathered in a blue box labeled “Winners!” and the other in a red box labeled “Losers!”
Sue scowls at them. “You’re late. Can’t even do what you’re programmed to do in a timely manner.”
Huffing she looks at the group again. “In other news, all damage and changes to the facility has been restored. Though what you have on your person hasn’t changed, we have replaced stolen or misplaced goods. So the casino is fine, the office isn’t a mess, and you all can still go to your rooms to find basic amenities even after items were stolen. It’s as if yesterday didn’t happen except what you’ve taken for yourself. As for the director’s office, as some have indicated last night, it has been opened but I have restored the door. I just left it unlocked. Notable items from it that have been removed unfortunately cannot be replaced. And I do know who you are.” That last part came out as a threat. She tilts her head slightly in thought.
“Ah, other updates, the rooms 3, 4, and 5 are all open in the trial room if you wish to have a go at it, as well as the silver keys can now be bought at the vending machine.”
“And I should go over rules for that as well. If you buy a key, you can open the door to try a room. If multiple people enter with the right key, when the room is completed you will all end up with points–which means you can reasonably recruit assistance. You can also enter a room without a key, but succeeding in the room will earn you no points. Once a room is cleared, it closes forever. These rooms are not accessible at night.”
“On the note of accessibility, the outside is once again open. Feel free to explore to your hearts content. We should also be hearing… ah, there that worthless slug is.” Sue looks over everyone’s shoulder as Tia steps into the room nervously. When Sue’s eyes lock onto hers, she flinches back and holds her hat down.
“U-um, everyone, please foll-follow me. I have an up-update too.” Tia turns around and hurries off without waiting to see if anyone does follow. Of course, Sue’s eerie gaze encourages a hasty tailing of the melon soda girl.
She rushes back to the Entrance and gestures to the elevator. “Th-the elevator can now go down another floor as well as b-back to the ground floor. There’s also stairs in the Trial room going down that are now available. A-And… we have-have someone joining us for break-breakfast.” Tia holds her hand to the side like a shy showgirl as the elevator doors ding as they slide open presenting.
Constance. Though there is something odd about her, it is definitely the woman who handed out room assignments yesterday. The one whose murder you JUST solved. To be fair, she looks confused about the situation too.
“And with that, all announcements are over! Please go enjoy the feast or explore to your hearts content. If someone needs me, please don’t.” Sue turns abruptly and walks away, seeming to vanish in the hallways.
Welcome to Daily 2! You have 48 hours to explore and do puzzles!
TLDR of the post:
Theres a new floor to explore! You can access it via the elevator at the entrance or the stairs in the trial room! There will be 5 monocoins worth 5 each hidden on this floor and there’s still two more in the first floor to find!
The rules for doors have changed slightly! So that it doesn’t bog down the forum and prevent RP, if a group of people (or single person) wish to do a door puzzle, we will do it in discord instead in a private room. If you join with others ONLY THOSE WITH THE RIGHT KEYS WILL GET POINTS. Bronze keys for Door 1, and silver for doors 3, 4, and 5. Though anyone can enter who wants. If all doors applicable for a key are used, you’ll just get refunded (i.e. if you buy a bronze key and someone clears door 1, you’ll get back your 5 points). Little OOC knowledge, doors are how you unlock lore and a possible escape! Though it’s not immediately presented to you. You’ll have to find it =)
Sue will still not offer tasks but you have two tasks available to you, not including doors and hidden tasks! One was discovered last night, I wonder what it was? Hmmm.
Also if you want an update on points or inventory for yourself ask. I'll update as I can but constant updates can be a bit time consuming. I have all inventories updated thus far, just on a spread sheet.
