Naix, now leading two teens through the darkness, walks through the bedrooms to the north side. She opens the next door, which may or may not be the one that leads to the generator. In the off-chance that there is a generator she sees, Naix will turn it on.

This room is nothing like the others you've come across so far. It appears to be almost... stone-y in appearance, and is cold to be in. You look around the room, for anything relevant, when the scent of blood hits you. Again? More blood?!

{What's the cause of the scent?}

In the middle of the room, you spot Aoi asleep. She seems to be sleeping quietly... too... quietly... You look to see if you can find the generator in this room, and sure enough, there it is! You rush over, and look for the on switch. It was set to off, so you pray to those above and flick it on. After coughing and splattering a bit, it does indeed turn on, and shortly thereafter, all the lights turn on, in every room. You shift your attention back to Aoi, who has got a syringe stuck inside her neck. It has a small amount of blood coming out near the wound. There is also a trail of a peculiar white-ish, clear liquid flowing from her right eye, which is on the same side as the syringe wound. She did not die peacefully, rather, she died in a state of physical stress and fear, which is obvious from her body positioning and language.

All bodies have been found! Questions will be released shortly, and trial will start then. You're welcome to ask any questions you have before then

Trial has begun! You now have 48 hours to solve all 3 murders. If you haven't yet realised it, we will be playing on a slightly modified version of The Phantom Train from Vaellin's Game 98, so please, give her credit for this. Just so it's all in one thread, I will be posting the entire map both here, and in the OP. Additionally, I need to thank Peterparker for all her help writing these murders with me!

{Room Hall A & B:}
A rather nice hall which has rooms 1-3 inside in A, and rooms 4-6 in B.

{Rooms 1-6}
Four bed bedrooms each.
Rooms 1-6 are identical 4 bed bedrooms with two wardrobes. There is a table in the center, a clock on the wall, and a window to view the outside world. It's bright and sunny outside right now.

{Dining Car A:}
Here are a couple of pitchers of water sitting on the counter for early arrivals, a trash can in the top right, and a full supply of drinks, including alcohol, tea, coffee, and soda. There is a small supply for food, but this is clearly intended to be a bar for adults.

{Viewing Car A & B:}
Several windows show the outside world with chairs designed for social interactions block access to them. Flowers on on the tables and two trash bin are at either end. There is an electronic map on either end as well, showing a simple map of the Storming Fleet. These rooms are functionally identical, except that Viewing Room A has the entrance which you cam from, and the Deactivation Device inside it.

{Dining Car B:}
Dining room B smells of fresh bread and cooked meat. There is small trays of snacks- such as nuts, small candy bars, and berries- out and baskets of loaves. Several tables fill this room and a small kitchenette is pressed against the back.

{Operator:}
Electronics and some cleaning supplies, this place was used to manage the train's electricity. A generator, a control panel, and some other strange electronic devices are here.

{Ghost Viewing:}
Much is blocked off and it's easy to lock someone inside. You're not sure how this is a viewing room unless they were viewing the captives of the room itself. There are two small windows and a pile of bricks in the hallway section.

{Suite:}
This room seems big enough for a family to sleep in, as if it was a luxury suite. There is a damaged piano, a double bed, a mirror, and a few paintings also in this room.

{Kitchen:}
The food is all rotten but the stove still works. Somehow, you don't think you'll want to eat what's being served. There are heavy bags, broken glass, and rotten food. A list of supplies hangs on the wall.

Filled to the brim with miscellaneous items, this room has definitely seen the worst of all the rooms. There is a list on the wall that has what's in the room but it seems mostly damaged.

Whatever was on this platform is not here now. The place is unstable. It's easy for someone to fall off. A few tools lie on the ground as well as some heavy sacks in the corner.

The rooms that are, in some capacity, relevant to any murder are as follows:
Hall A, Room 2, Room 3, Operator, Viewing Ghost, Kitchen, Storage, Forest

Additionally, now that the lights are on, as you went and checked every room, aside from the dead bodies, you've come across the following people: April, Naix, WerBell, Hypnos, and Ray. None of them have Bracelets or PadLocks. Perhaps you should try talking to them?

A list of questions appears on your device. They are as follows.

1) How did Aoi die?
2) Who is Aoi’s killer?
3) How did Aoi’s killer get inside the Operator Room?
4) Is the generator turning off important? If so, how?
5) Who is the unidentified corpse?
6) Who set up the explosion?
7) How did the explosion occur?
8) Who killed Guertena?
9) How did Guertena Die?
10) What exactly happened to Guertena?
11) In any of the kills, are there any accomplices? If yes, say who, and which kill (Operator, Room 3, Forest)
12) What is the significance of all these kills?

There is a threshold of getting 9 out of 12 correct. Additionally, if your character is related to any case, you must get all the questions correct; i.e. Aoi dies in the Operator Room, so she has to get questions 1-4 correct.

She checks the electronic devices including the generator and control panel for any tampering, also making sure to inspect the cleaning supplies and stray body parts.

After looking through the room, Naix goes to the corpse of Aoi. She checks for anything abnormal or otherwise different in her appearance from the living Aoi beside her. She looks for any signs that this was an actual living human, and not something made to look like Aoi. Last, she removes the syringe to get a better idea of what could be inside it, and if any of the second Aoi's symptoms can identify it.

A rather vintage looking generator, it seems kinda rusted and poorly maintained, and it might be broken, but it must have plenty of fuel. The generator was set to off. Upon turning it back on, it sputters a little, but boots up with no problems whatsoever. Near the generator, there is a suspicious stack of boxes.

You check inside the cardboard boxes, which seem to mostly contain cleaning chemical and other cleaning supplies, but also contain a box of syringes and other medical gear? Behind the boxes is an air vent.

As you approach the living Aoi, to compare her to the dead one, they seem to be exact copies of each other. The only differences is that one is, well, dead, and has an assortment of injuries, and the other is wearing a bracelet. Upon trying to remove the syringe from the dead Aoi, something ethereal happens. Your hand passes through the syringe, and into Aoi, with no resistance whatsoever.

She appears to have died in a state of pure panic, she is facing up, towards the roof There is a large bruise on the back of her head. Additionally, is a syringe stabbed into her neck. One of her eyes appears to be… flat? Not as filled as the other.

The syringe has been fully injected into Aoi’s neck. It has been stabbed onto the right hand-side of her. Additionally, some clearish-white fluid appears to be around the wound. Although you are unable to, it seems unwise to you to remove the syringe, as doing so would cause bleeding.

Now that the lights are back on, it is easy to look around the room. Taking a look at the door on the left, you can see it was blocked by tables, chairs and boxes. This would have made it impossible to open the door from the Ghost Viewing Room. Additionally, there are droplets of water leading up to Aoi’s body, and then a large ‘slash’ of water behind her. Near Aoi’s body, there is a snapped piece from a wooden handle.

Naix tests if she can remove the vent cover and peer into its depths for an idea of where it may lead or if anything had been inside it, checking the size of the hole as well for an estimate of what could fit inside. She removes the stack of items from the blocked door, opening the boxes against it in case there are more clues to be found in them. She picks up the wooden handle and sees if it was broken off from anything in the Operator Car itself, taking the handle with her if its origin is still unknown.

Then she opens the door to the Ghost Viewing Car if able and proceeds into the next room. She takes a moment to question the sky and/or PadLock. "Observer, if there is one for this door. Why were the syringe and the second Aoi's body permeable?"

It appears as though the air vent cover does not have any screws in it, and is merely being held in place by the boxes. The air vent cover is easily removed, and inside are some shockingly large air ducts. They are comfortably big enough for someone to crawl through. The handle appears to match a mop with a broken handle, which is currently inside its bucket. Oddly, trail of droplets does not start from the mop bucket.

All the air vent covers in the Ghost Viewing Room appear to be firmly secured. However, one air vent cover has a different screw to the rest.

The observer responds, however it is noticeably not Defective this time. They do not speak, rather, they send a  message response to your question.


"Hello. I am the observer of this room. You may call me Q. The answer to your question is simple. The Syringe and Aoi's body are permeable because they are not real. Killing people is difficult when we need them alive. Though they are mere illusions, they serve as your mystery. As you know, to fail solving said mystery would mean joining the 8 of your companions who failed to do so earlier."

Naix asks another question to their observer before she begins searching the Ghost Viewing Car. "Q, your red truth implies that all of us who entered this room have illusions of us. Please confirm that. In that case, is the Ray we found included in this group? And as for the orange-haired teen, is he also an illusion?"

Naix begins her investigation of the new room by checking what is and isn't blocked off inside the car. She checks what can be seen through the windows and takes apart the pile of bricks, inspecting each piece. She looks past the metal bars for holding captives and checks if the cell can be opened, making a thorough search of this half of the room if it can be. Finally, she tries to unscrew the vents with her hands to see whether they need a special tool and any distinct differences between the screw variants.

You find nothing of interest while investigating. The only specialised tool that you need would be a Philip's Head Screw Driver. The distinction in the screw types is obvious. They are all rusted and grey, flush Philips Head screws. Whereas the odd screw out has a rounded top, and brass-y in colour, but is also a Philips Head.

She reads the list of supplies and compares them to the supplies currently in the Kitchen. And she investigates the stove too for any signs of use.

The kitchen is peculiar. It seems.. mostly untouched at a first glance, however, as you begin to look around for some leftovers to reheat them you realise the microwave has been disassembled. Inside the heavy bags, there is leftover food waste that has begun to decompose. The glass shards appear to be from a broken glass baking tray, which just appears to have been dropped or thrown. While investigating the gas hob, you realise that you don't have any  matches to turn it on with. Well, surely this is a kitchen, and you might be able to find some, but no matter how much you look, you can't find any matches. After doing an inventory check, aside from the matches, everything appears to be there. Upon completing the check, you think it may be a good idea to check the knives, perhaps they might be just handles. While that is not the case, everything is there, pulling out the two largest knives reveal large bloodstains along the edge of the blade and tips, the blood on one knife is noticeably fresher than the other.

Running past the disaster in Room 3, and all the way up to the Operator Room, where he catches up to Neo and Aoi, upon walking in, the scent almost knocks her over

"Jesus Christ..."

In fairness, her response wasn't unwarranted, the stench of bodily fluids was pretty overwhelming.

"Is that... Aoi?"

She walks closer towards the body, trying to ascertain a better view

"Oh my... Christ. Has her eye been pierced? That's Kuma!ed."

She goes up and investigates the condition of Aoi a little more

Upon closer inspection, her right eye has been stabbed by something small and sharp, causing the ocular fluid inside to leak out. It has run down her face. As far as you can tell, whatever pierced her eyeball has gone all the way through. Additionally, on the back of her head has a large bruise, which is a long, straight one. Likely caused by some form of bludgeoning. It appears to be around 2-3cm in width.

April looks... utterly disgusted

"This is... so much worse than last time. What the hell! Is wrong with you, Q!?"

She physically gags, trying her best to get out. She stumbles back into the Living Quarters, where she spots her own copy

"Oh! A survivor! How lucky, it's me."

She walks up to her copy, and politely asks

"Can you please tell me if you remember anything?"

The April Copy stands there, aimlessly, before monotonously saying

"I was in the Living Quarters until the blackout, and no one entered or left. I would have seen them if they did."

Naix goes to see the dupe Naix. ”Tell me what you remember.”

While she’s checking the dupe people, Naix also talks to the dupe Ray. ”Tell me what you remember.”

You find your own clone in Dining Hall A, of all places. Upon asking, and waiting, you hear.

"I remember seeing someone tall, with red eyes walking between rooms 2 and 3. However, I don’t remember anything else, as their appearance wasn’t particularly striking to me."

After wandering around for a while, you see Ray's copy in the Storage Room. After asking, you hear

"The blackout happened first, followed by the explosion a while later. I was passing by the Storage Room, when I talked to Guertena for a while. This was after the explosion."
