Game 98: Final Trial -- The Beginning's End

"It's time for... the Chika Report™!"

Seeing that now was the time to share, Chika raises her magnifying glass to her face.

First, the Operator Room! Somebody went through here, though not many! Whoever they were, they passed through both doors.

The Quarters! Somebody definitely searched this place, it's a total mess! But there's no hidden clues to be found... how sad that such a valiant effort came up fruitless. Unless it didn't and they found what they were looking for... Anyway, a few people came through here. Two or three by my estimate!

The Central Platform! All four corners were accessed AFTER A4, but the bottom left was definitely accessed the most. The whole place was cleared out for a fight!

The Forest! There are footprints here! A single set of muddy footprints! Other than that, nothing really seemed out of place but like... it's a forest. What would be "out of place" in a creepy ghosty place anyway?

And finally, the Admin Room! Lot's of people came through here. Like, lots and lots. Too many footprints to even keep track of. But there was a hidden soda bottle that smelled super stinky!

Chika lowered her magnifying glass in a dramatic fashion.

Majima clears his throat

“I’ll give a short version.

A0: I started in Danni’s room and saw no one else with me.

A1: I left Danni’s room and met up with Kiryu-Chan~ leaving the office. Rinko walked from the left of the car and went Right. Chika went into the Admin room.

A2: Kiryu-Chan and I went right, into Room Hall A. Rinko was leaving Room 3. Kiryu-Chan~ and Rinko continued right, I went to the central Platform. No one else arrived.

A3: Kiryu-chan arrived and we had an incredible fight. You should’ve see it! Miyuki walked by at one point.

A4: While we fought, I heard a voice say “Operator, Hall B, Admin, Dining B”. Kaguya and chika entered and checked out each corner before leaving. The voice then said “Chika, Kaguya, Miyuki”. I used this distraction to beat kiryu-Chan~.

A5: I stayed with Kiryu-Chan, noticed the transport on the lower tracks. It was empty. Red entered from the top left and went to the bottom left corner.

A6: Kiryu-Chan~ and I went to get a drink. We ended up in Room Hall A with Red. We went right and found the viewing room. We then went to Dining Car. We didn’t see anyone else until we got called to the central platform. I believe that’s everything”

"Bleach was found in the kitchen, empty. But it didn't originate from the kitchen, did it? Can you remember and confirm this if possible, Rinka, since you were in the Kitchen earlier in the night?"

"If not in the kitchen, then it must have come from somewhere... like a closet or somewhere cleaning supplies is kept. It couldn't be storage, as Majima already told us storage wasn't really touched."

"The pool, perhaps? Neku or Neptune, can you remember if you ever saw Bleach in the water room at any point you were there?"

"There was no bleach there when I arrived and I do not belive any of you two brought the bleach to there while we were there. Probably this was done after the announcement of Danni's body?"

Neptune shakes her head. "No, I didn't... but if it's helpful, I can say what I was up to last night~~!

"I started alone in the Suite. I wanted to go swim in the Water Room, but got kinda lost. I went left, through Ghost Viewing, then through Operator, then the Living Quarters where I saw Neferpitou talking to some misty train residents. As I was leaving, I also saw Kaguya, looking confused. I ended up in Room Hall A. (A1)

"I passed Neferpitou and Makomo to go back to Kaguya and ask her where the pool was. She was angry... but she did tell me it was to the left of Room Hall A. So I went that way, but I ended up in a different room. I saw Makomo again, near the funny magic circle. (A2)

"I checked out the magic circle while Makomo inspected the room. I also tried putting the orb on top, but nothing happened. (A3)

"I watched Makomo inspect the walls, but I still wanted to swim. I went back into the Admin room and went into a door at random, where I finally found the Water Room! Yay~~! I jumped into the water! And Neku was there! (A4)

"I splashed Neku for a while, then Makomo came in. She wouldn't leave me alone last night~~! And she talked about some stuff from the Admin room that I didn't fully understand. (A5)

"I kept swimming, but then remembered the orb! I wanted to make sure the water didn't damage it! So I took it out and the word shifted to SABOTAGE for a little bit! Creepy~~ And then we were all called to the Centre Platform. (A6)"

Neptune stops for a moment.

"Two nights ago, I had a ghost friend who moved the cars for me how I wanted. It was just one per action, and I could either swap two cars or have one move in between two others. The ghost friend said it couldn't move admin, engine, or the centre platform, though. And the graveyard was always affixed to the forest. So we need to look at the movement of the cars and see whose benefitted from it when you connect it to the plan~~"

"There must have been ammonia in that bottle then, cause the exact amount of that glass bottle (12oz) was taken out of the ammonia found in Dining Car B."

I'm going to share my investigation results, I wish it'll help.

Investigating the Suite everything was untouched. I only noticed that standing near the piano brought a sense of peace.

In the Transport area was a broken railing and signs of drag marks by the edge, as if something or someone was thrown off the railway, or at least nearly thrown.

I also scanned the Kitchen. There are two cups out, the body on the table is missing and the oven is off. Weird.

I'll be sharing my nightly actions as well. 

A0: I'm in the Living Quarters alone with some ghosts looking down at me, but none alive people.

A1: I asked the ghosts about how we can get rid of Phantom. They mentioned how a ghost named Mother/Alicia was able to be freed by Phantom's rule by listening to music and suggested we try that. Neptune came from teh Operator, passed throught the Living Quarters and went into Room Hall A and then Kaguya and Makomo showed up.

A2: After talking to them I leave in order to find a way to broadcast music with Makomo following, we pass by Neptune and Steve, who was getting out of his room, through Room Hall A. Steve continues with us to the left but then Makomo goes into the Office. Me and Steve end up the Engine room where I couldn't find any way I could broadcast music.

A3: I heard a weird faint voice saying "Transport, Kitchen, Transport Dining Car B" There was a paus in which i asked Steve if he could create an item so I can broadcast music to which he replied that he couldn't. After that he made himself comfortable in the room. 
After that the voice returned sying "Kaguya, Chika, Miyuki" which was weird. Another voice said "Danni knows..." I decide to take that as a clue and go into teh Admin and then Danni's room. 

A4: I thoroughly search around for anything useful that might help either operate the train or get us out of this situation and the only thing I managed to find was a book on the floor with a torn page. Only the following part was readable:

"Using this method, each ghost is bound... items per person, even those who will be... I chose an item as well but I do not decide... grants the ghosts peace but only one can... de a list of most likely items for both... only if the worst will happen."

A5: Having gained relatively no new information I decided to burn the dog collar I found the other day along with the dimond necklace as a last resort to see if the spirits that might be bound to the items will be set free. I managed to start a contained fire, the collar burnt successfully, which resulted in a dog whimpering... but the diamond necklace only got hot except the leather binging which took some time to wear off.

A6: After destroying the collar and failing to destroy the necklace I heard a voice saying "Viewing B, Between, Quarters, Hall A, Dining A, Between, Suite, Viewing Ghost". I went out the room and followed a pathway to the bottom left of the Admin which lead to the Central Platform. The Transport room is on the lower railway, around the middle. I entered the bottom right room where I found Rinko, who offered me a very bitter drink. The room seemed at peace. The blood wasn't less, the oven is off, and the body in the corner is gone. I was thinking about it when I heard the voice of Phantom calling us to Central Platform.
