The pills are hard to swallow and it takes a few moments but when it hits, it hits hard. Especially since you both indicated pills. They leave a bitter taste in your mouth afterwards.

You are unconscious (dont worry, you arent dead). Though you probably should be. Dont abuse sleeping pills kids.

Ignoring the potentially fatal drug use (which is very uncool), Kiryu turns back to Neptune and tries to look less intimidating.

"So Neptune, when do you think sleeping pills were added to the food then? If you were cooking since A1, who could've added them? Did someone help you cook?"

“I don’t know... I cooked the pudding myself, I think...? I mean, Chika was there making cupcakes, so it’s possible she slipped them in when I had my back turned... and Miyuki was there too. Dazai, Steve, and Kiryu were around from end of A1 to A2, too.”

Makomo looks confused as to why people just snatched the drugs from her hand, and gobbled them up.

"Well... now we know that they were sleeping pills for sure. I'm not quite sure how that particularly helps, but that's good. Now, how do we find out if the cupcakes are drugged, or the pudding, or both?"

Miyuki steps forward

“I’ll try them, I’m not sure what this what will accomplish, they are sleeping pills. I think we all know what sleeping pills do.”

Miyuki will take some of the pills from Makomo and swallow them whole

"What the heck are you doing President?!?! Those things could be poison you know!"

Narrator: "But Miyuki obviously didn't listen to her warnings as he took the pills anyway and then fell into a deep slumber!"

Kaguya quickly checks up on Miyuki and sees that he's still alive.



"Jeez President! You're so reckless!"

[Crow]

Seeing as how the phantom had lost interest in his taunts, Ken clicks his tongue before being flabbergasted by what Rinko and Miyuki did.

Shaking his head, He moves towards Rinko. Crouch down and poking her cheek with his left hand.

[Spell Craft]

Makomo attempts to wake up those who are unconscious.

"A ghost cannot kill." Phantom notes. "Their strength is weakened and stabbing a knife would be nigh impossible."

"And I believe I should answer a question i passed over earlier. Both accomplices are in the same state of alive or dead as they were at the start of the night. In other words. Our victim either committed suicide or is completely uninvolved in how own murder."

"W-wait!" Chika interjected. "You think I messed with the pudding? What kind of monster messes with delicious pudding!?" It seemed to be going over her head that she was being accused of murder. Though perhaps such a thought was so horrible that she was actively blocking it out.

"Hold up! You invited me to come cook with you. You, me, and Neferpitou started the night in Viewing Room B. Pitou pulled out a chess board and asked me to send Kaguya his way if I saw her. I mean, I get it, Kaguya-chan is awesome... but seriously he didn't even consider that I might want to play!" She turned from Neptune to the others. "Then Neptune invited me to come cook with her, so we went to Dining Hall B. Neptune grabbed a checkerboard on her way out.

We ran into the president there! I thought we should stick together and he agreed, so he sat there playing checkers while we cooked. Neptune made pudding, and I made cupcakes with little chess pieces on them 'cause I was still a little sad I didn't get to play. Dazai came in a little bit later, and he looked like he was totally out of it.

Miyuki walked in and challenged the president to a game, while Dazai and Neptune were going on about some really deep stuff. Life-and-death kinda conversation which I didn't want to eavesdrop on because a) it was creepy and b) good friends don't eavesdrop on each other!" This may have been one of the most hypocritical things she had ever uttered, but Chika's expression appeared quite serious. "Pitou came and joined us, and then Steve and Kiryu walked in from the other direction. Steve was soaking wet for some reason... but that's no excuse not to be hospitable! Neptune offered everyone pudding and I passed out cupcakes.

Then Neptune shoved some cupcakes in Miyuki and Dazai's faces, which you gotta admit is rather hilarious. Then everyone left except for Pitou, who went and found some seran wrap. Miyuki went right, everyone else went left. Pitou wrapped the seran wrap around the door and seemed like he was waiting for someone to run into it. It looked kinda fun, so I stuck around to watch!

Makomo totally fell for it! We all laughed together and I offered him cupcakes and pudding. Then he pulled out this mysterious key and opened up one of the cabinets! There was alcohol in there, some dangerous-looking chemicals, and a book. The two of them started reading the book together, so I looked over their shoulder 'cause I wanted to read too!

It said something about Lance and Danni having a deal of some kind. I wanted to read more, but Makomo got all nervous and slammed the book shut! Then he ran away to the left. I was gonna chase after him, but then I heard this really creepy voice saying 'Please...stop him... before it's too late...' I tried to ask who I was supposed to stop, but this rude disembodied voice didn't even answer. It just ghost-napped me! It started dragging me by the arm! I figured maybe it was taking me to whoever I was supposed to stop, so I went with it. It paused for a moment in the kitchen, where I heard this awful shattering sound coming from above me. I wanted to go check on it, but the ghost kept dragging me somewhere else...

Turned out "somewhere else" was the storage room. It was a pretty creepy scene. Neku was there all surrounded by broken statues and bones! Then the ghosts started going on about how they were "too late", but why bring me to storage in the first place if they were in such a hurry? I mean, what could someone like me do..." She looked a bit sad. Of course, anyone who had lost two friends in as many days might have shared that same look. "Anyway, there was an explosion to the left and then the ghosts told us someone had died. They didn't seem too upset about it either, so if it's not the murderer we were supposed to stop... UGH!" She turned to scream at the ghosts. "I DON'T GET YOU AT ALL!"

Upon new information becoming available, Miyuki awakens from his slumber, must be all the caffeine in his system.

Miyuki looked stunned, what a time to be awake.

"Neku, could you please confirm this?"

Neferpitou was staring at Inugami the whole time wondering if he's ok and trying to resist the urge to lunge at him and rip the bandages apart. They resort to just staring and wagging their tail.

Upon realising how left behind they are, they jump in action.

"Oh, sorry. I got distracted. 

My investigation results aren't that useful. 

In Room Hall A there is a faint smell of smoke after the filtering removed most of it from the explosions. The door to Room 3 is  destroyed by the explosion and it seems that someone sat at the entrance of it for quite a while. Room 1 and 2 also had visitors during the night.


Contrary to Ghost Viewing Room that wasn't much in the way of visitors. Nothing has changed in there, even though there are signs of someone searching around a little.

I will also give you a full account of my nightly actions.

Before Midnight I woke up to the sight of Chika and Neptune in Viewing Room B.

At Midnight Neptune got a checker board from the closet and went with it and Chika to the next train car over to make pudding. I sit and wait for someone to show up hoping it might be someone close to Kaguya until Kaguya herself arrived! Inugami on her tail. She looked a little confused, as if she wasn't trying to get here.

At 12:30 Kaguya finaly accepted my chess challenge game which ended with my defeat. Kaguya exited from the left and I went to check on the cupcakes Neptune and Chika were making. In Dining Car B Miyuki and Dazai are playing checkers with the treats by their side and I was offered some pudding and cupcakes as did Kiryu and Steve who entered from the right.

At 01:00 As the train shakes I noticed my playfulness rubbed on Neptune who was smashing cupcakes in Miyuki's and Dazai's mouths. Dazai started yawning and coughing up cupcakes to Neptune and Miyuki's concern who helped him up. Dazai, Neptune, Steve and Kiryu then exited from the left. Miyuki exited from the right. Chika stayed behind having a chat with as I was setting up my own prank. I stuck saran wrap on the left door of the car and waited for someone to fall for it.

At 01:30 I dipped a cupcake in pudding and nobbed on it as Makomo entered from the right. They were handed a cupcake and pudding but they ran straight into my saran wrap trap trying to exit through the left door. Nyahahahahaaaaa~~
I set up the saran wrap on both doors this time as Makomo pulls out a key and unlocks a locked cabinet of Dining Car B, revealing the contents; Bottles of alcohol, chemicals and a book. Makomo picked up the book and started flipping through its' pages.

At 02:00 I tried looking over Makomo's shoulder into the book but i suddenly felt somehow exhausted. I stepp away, curled behind the counter and fell asleep on the spot.

At 02:30 something extremely loud woke me up. I heard something equally loud after I woke up which was definetly an explosion. I quickly checked my traps noticing that the one on the left door was triggered, which was also the direction the explosion came from. I raced that way finding a smoke filled room and Kaguya, Miyuki and Rinko looking at a fourth person's burned body inside Room 3. 
Then we heard the voice of Phantom and you know the rest. 

Hmmm... By collecting bits and parts of my night and what I heard, I think we were definetly drugged. I'm guessing the drug was in the pudding, unless this has already been proven wrong. 
As for the person who drugged the pudding... It must have been Chika, right?"

Neferpitou's face is taken over by a gloomy grimace. 

"Can... Can I ask you all something? I spend the better part of the previous night by the side of Ishigami... I considered doing that tonight as well, but i wanted to prank people. 
Do you think that this wouldn't have happened to Ishigami if I chose to find him instead of teasing people?"

Before they know it their vision got a little blurry.



"Wha- What's this?!"

They swiftly turn around, trying to hide their face from everyone.

"Why is this happening to me? Why do I-"

After the final crack of their voice only a low, discrete, sobbing sound could be heard from Neferpitou's podium. 

Sounding more human than ever before.

[Crow]

Halting his pokes, Ken seem to have thought of something as he gets up and turn towards Dazai.

“Dazai, you said Neptune help you get to her room so you could rest, right? Are you sure she was trying to get you to her room or did she actually try to get you to your room?”

“According to the original map, the location of Room hall B where Neptune's room is should be right of Dining hall B. So why is it that she takes you left towards Room Hall A instead?”

Turning towards Neptune, Ken asks with a stern tone.

“Kid, were you trying to take Dazai to his room or your room at that time?”

“I was trying to bring him to his own room, but the cars moved around and we ended up in Room Hall B. By that time I was getting really tired too so I just brought him into my room instead of searching for Room Hall A.”

Miyuki took a deep breath, he was going to accuse someone again, hopefully, correctly this time.

"Dazai Osamu."

"Neptune."

"It was you two, wasn't it? You two are responsible for the death of Yu Ishigami."

"Let me explain. I believe the current theory lands on my fellow student council member, Chika Fujiwara."

"The two started their nights apart. Dazai claims to have been alone in the Central Platform, whereas Neptune started in Viewing Room B, along with Neferpitou and Chika."

"Chika and Neptune headed into Dining Hall B, in order to start making food. Neferpitou remained in Viewing Room B."

"Everything is normal so far, but then, Chika spotted a key detail. Dazai entered, but he was sleepy."

"Now, isn't that peculiar? If, as we know, the food is drugged, how on earth, was Dazai already sleepy?"

"I can't give you an exact dosage, but it's likely he had... either a whole pill, or half a pill. That would require exact testing, and isn't exactly important either. What is important is that, he had the pills on him, and he had already some an amount of the pills."

"From here, Dazai handed the pills to Neptune, who drugged the puddings. Now, when Rinko wakes up, she will back me up on this. Those pills were bitter as hell."

"What better way to hide the bitterness, that in an insanely sweet dessert, such as... pudding."

"It helps that Neptune, who is a pudding fanatic, would know exactly how to mask that bitterness."

"As she was cooking, Neptune also took a Steak Knife. This is, as we now later know, to be the murder weapon."

"I have no idea if it was intentional or not, but Chika making cupcakes helped immensely with their ploy."

"Making sure that Dazai had the cupcakes, it would make it seem that both deserts were spiked."

"Over time, people left. What's important to note is that Neptune had the spiked pudding."

"Neferpitou. The crux of this knowledge. Ate both, Cupcakes and Pudding."

"This is important, because they didn't fall asleep."

"They ate this food at about... 1:30? 1:45? Once again, this is important because it only took an hour for Neptune and Dazai to fall asleep."

"But, I was with Neferpitou at the end of the night, I don't think they were asleep, let alone tired."

"In any case, Neptune helped Dazai to his room... no, actually. Neptune helped Dazai to HER room. We know Room 6 was used, and Room 3 was... occupied at the time."

"Now, assuming they left right away, it is entirely possible that they did get to Hall B at this time."

"Whether they made it or not is unclear, but I choose to believe that they did. I don't think it's massively important either way."

"What is important is when they left. Now, from uh, past experience, I know that the time of death is anywhere from 2:00-3:00."

"From Danni's alibi, Ishigami's last known location was Hall B. Hey let's play connect the dots! The 2 suspicious individuals, highly likely to have committed murder, were in the same area, alone with the victim. How interesting."

"As for why Ishigami went back to the Forest? This a good question. I believe he was possessed by a ghost."

"It was at this point in time where Ishigami was killed from behind. I'm... not sure which one of them did it, to be honest."

Miyuki stares at both Dazai and Neptune

"But at a guess, it was Dazai. Neptune seems too innocent for that."

"After killing Ishigami, they did what they did to the body, and went on their merry way. I think they would have finished that at... about 2:30?"

"And from here, they just, wondered into Viewing Room B, as they claimed to have. The only significant thing about it, is that whoever had the sleeping pills, I assume Neptune, also had the Antacids. These were placed in the Viewing Room B, which were discovered by Makomo."

"I may have missed some things, but this should be the entire murder plan, movement, and anything else of notability, in the death of Yu Ishigami."

[Misaki]

Kaguya was rather impressed by Miyuki's accusation theory.

"Impressive. That theory seems to make the most sense to me. I expected nothing less from the Shuchi'in Academy Student Council President!"

Kaguya then turned her attention to both Dazai and Neptune with a twisted smirk on her face

"Well well. According to our president. You two have murdered our treasurer. How cute... What do you both have to say for yourselves?"
