Chapter 1: The Queen Arises (Trial 1)

[Maria]

"Oh, oh! Do you need my alibi?"

A0: "After eating, I went to the diner with Little Red! Granny was there too! Red took at seat at a booth and I started singing!"

A1: "I was having lots of fun in the diner, so I kept going! Red ordered something from Granny and soon Lydia came in too and started speaking with him."

A2: "Red yelled at me to stop, so I left. He was probably about to boil over from happiness! I went to the playground and started playing on the swings! I found a heavy indent of sand near the slide, like someone had sat there for a while. Oh, Donny was there too! I remember that he took something out of his pocket and buried it in the sand. Oh, oh, I remember! There were three, no, four people near the harbour!

A3: "I stopped playing on the swings and when to the library next! Donny stayed at the playground. Kyrie and Zelena were speaking in there and I joined in! Rapunzel came in and joined too! We started speaking about why we came here, it was really fun!! Hmm...I started to feel a bit weird after that. I was holding a candlestick! Everyone else had some weird stuff too! I started reading a book, "The Candlestick and the Witch's Broom"! It was a really cool book!"

A4: "I noticed that Rapunzel was trying to open the door, so I went over to help, but she left when I went up to her. I took my book and went to go and see my friend in the hospital! He was already asleep, but I'm sure he still appreciated me reading the book to him! I hope he's having nice dreams!!"

A5: "I suddenly started to feel really...weird in the hospital? It isn't something I've felt before, so I ran outside and yelled really loud!!! The yelling felt nice, hehe! After I did, I heard a howl from the cove and some voices from the library."

A6: "I decided to go and see what was going on in the library. On the way there, I ran into Merlin! He was going the opposite way. It was really messy in the library! Rapunzel was in there, trying to get that door open with a frying pan, and Kyrie was speaking to her.

Battler looked down and noticed there were still some blue paint on his shoes.
"Oh right, when I ran outside of the bar, I stepped on some light blue paint. I tried to get rid of it, but I couldn't. I also remember that when I went inside of the bar for the first time, there weren't any blue paint at all. I am sure the other footprint was made by Edward when he came inside!"

She turns to Red.

"Got anything to say about that, strawberry? Oh, and while I'm thinking of it, how sharp are your claws?"

She waits for a moment, smirking.

"Don't worry, werewolf boy. I'm suspicious, but not convinced it was you, nyeh. I am looking at Split Personality Susan over there, though. Here's what I'm thinking.

She said in her alibi that Henri never let Evelynn out to play. But in A3, I clearly saw Henri's facial features change, nyeh. Not only was she lying about never switching personalities, but she also became the way cooler murderous one halfway through the night.

Henri was at the apartments for a long time in the window of time that Mi-Hu could have been killed. And when I saw her A6 at the B&B, she seemed really frazzled. Almost as if the boring personality came back to see what her evil twin had done.

It's true that she never went to a place like the diner where she could have gotten a knife, but hey, there would have been knives in the kitchens in our apartments, nyeh. Plus, she could have taken one at dinner from the Mayor's house."

410 pouts a bit. "See, I like you, nyeh. Don't want you to die. But part of the fun here is catching the killer, riiiiiight? Ehehehe."

[Ame]

Lydia rolls her eyes at the group

"Alright everyone, I'm very sorry for my outburst before, I promise it won't happen again!"

"As sorry, I'll let you know where I was last night, what I was doing, and who I was"

"At the start, I was in a group with Donny, very sorry about that, by the way. The other 2 were Mi-hu & Battler. I was in the harbour at that precise moment." - A0

"Then I went to the Diner, for some dinner, obviously. There was music and I saw Kokoro having the time of her life, sing and dancing. Red was there, too, but he was busy being an asshole. I chatted with him while I had some coffee and pizza." - A1

"Red yelled at Kokoro, making her tear up and leave. Red then realised he was the victim and gave me his sob-story. I asked granny for a drink, and she got me some. As I got my drink and prepared to leave, Thomas entered."

"Now at the harbour, Henri was already there. She seemed a little out of it, and asked if she was okay. She clearly wanted some space, so I just relaxed. That Usagi soon showed up, and I heard some noise, I looked over and she had pushed Henri to the ground, and just... looked sheepishly satisfied with herself. And I'm the one with issues. Whatever, Frog soon showed up, and sat next to me by the water, looking for some tadpoles." -A2

"After chatting with Frog, managing to hide my accent, I went to the Pawnshop and noticed that it was quite a mess, the place also felt... magical, but I didn't see anything odd. The clock chimed, and I felt a little unwell. I took some paints, a screw driver, and a few other miscellaneous things and went for a nap."

"I got to the Apartments, and was thankful Henri saw me, and waited for me. We went about our business, having small talk, she complimented my shoes, which made me feel really good. I got into bed and had a nana nap." - A3

"After a quick nap, feeling energised, bright eyed and bushy tailed, I went to the Rabbit Hole. On my way there, I found some cute friends that I kept as company. As I entered the Sheriff's Department, I saw Rapunzel trying to break into the Evidence Room, which, you go girl!"

"Just before I entered, I saw how ugly the floor was, so I started to paint it blue, as I got.. close to finished, I heard someone coming, so I hid behind a pillar, I saw Battler step on the paint, and the bastard took my paint, like, he literally 'took the paint with him'" - A4

"Not long after, Gretel left. As I was about to enter, the Will-o-Wisp contacted me, which I've previously discussed. I carefully avoided the paint, not wanting to get some on my beautiful shoes. Looking around, I only saw Battler in there. Feeling a little funky and my head starting to hurt, I began to down some shots, when Edward appeared next to me, scaring me half to death. What a pompous bastard, especially with that shiny crown." - A5

"I told Edward I wanted to speak somewhere more private, and asked him outside. He begins cleaning up the place, like the do-gooder. I have one last shot and wait outside for Edward. Once Edward arrives, I have a bit of a conversation with him, we talk about a few things, but the highlight was the look on his face when he realised he was blue now." - A6

You're saying that from the Harbor, you went to the Pawn Shop, bought things there, went to the Apartments, met with Henri, and took a nap all within the span of [Action 3]? My, seems like you can move awfully quickly over a short period of time.

“...Yeah? It’s exactly what I’m saying. Maybe because you are old and can’t move the way you use to, but that is a reasonable amount of stuff to in an action.”

"God, I wish!" Evelynn responded with a wild grin. "I wanted out so bad just then! God, I was really so close you could see me!? Damn..." She looks almost spiteful. Like she really wanted it to be her.

"But nah, Loser-girl didn't do it. Hell, my twin over there just said the whole "OOOOO HE'S IN DANGER" thing went down in A5, right? Think about it. Crazy howl and murder musta happened at about the same time, and Henri was the first at the scene - still in that crappy nightgown If she'd had a knife and slit the guy's throat somehow, wouldn't he have been covered in blood?

And what you're saying is she murdered somebody, shoved him into his room, heard that damn howl, stashed the murder weapon, changed clothes, took a shower, transformed back, and then made it to the B&B before you did - no blood on her hands, body, gown, anything!? Wouldn't her hair have at least been wet or something!? Man, you give tramp wayyy too much credit.

Evelynn broke down into a joyful hysteria. "Man, she'd really be the dumbest murderer of all time though. Putting so much effort into solving the crime, telling you she saw the blood in the elevator. Like damn, if I wasn't there all locked up in her brain I woulda thought she did it too! I don't wanna die of course, but thi would prove I was right all along. Henri Jekyll really is the ultimate sap!" At this she lost it, collapsing to the group in fits of gleeful laughter.

This is, of course, assuming you even needed to take a shower. Why do you assume the killer would get blood on anything more than their clothes and hands? Even if you did, it's not difficult to take a shower without getting your hair wet.

Multiple people investigated the apartments. Lying about seeing blood in the elevator is exactly how you get caught and lose.


Don't misunderstand me. I'm not pointing fingers yet. You have to understand that you are currently one of, if not the sole, prime suspect. If you can prove without doubt that you could not have done it, then that changes. So far, while you've been trying, you've been unable to do that.
