We didn’t start the fire! ( THIS time)

 Yet again Mononeko’s voice can be heard by everyone, he’s faking a school-bell sound.
”TIIIIIIME’S UUUUUUUUUP! Everyone make your way to the hanger so we can get this party starteeeeeeed!!”

You do as he says and pile into the elevator. It is of no relief when you all notice that the elevator seems far more spacious and quiet. Nearly all of you drop your heads to the floor and ride in silence, except for Dio who emphatically stretches and takes up as much space as his scrawny body can. Was this an admission of guilt? If it were anyone else, yes. But this was Dio and by now you all know he just enjoys any excuse to be a dick.

You leave the elevator and are greeted a familiar sight; 16 podiums, however, four more people are now replaced by black and white photos. Before you can start filing into your respective podiums, three of them -the medic, the scientist, and the Captain- suddenly explode only to reappear brand new. As soon as everyone is where they should be, the podiums rise high into the air.

Mononeko, appears, now in a fireman suit, but he pretends to be snoring. He suddenly jumps awake. “Oh no am I late!? Well I guess the damage is already done! No point crying over burnt clones, AmIrite?!” he coughs.
“Nothing We can do now so let’s get our trial on!!”We can do now so let’s get our trial on!! A couple things to know before we do:remember, while four people have died three of them don’t matter at all! Of course if you’d like to find out their death for the purpose of revenge-not that I condone that sort of thing-you are free to do so!
BUT we are really only here to find the single murderer and the murderee!

( It certainly has taken us a while to get here. I appreciate your patience. Furthermore, I admit this trial may be a bit messy. I had intended to give myself a week to prep, but, well, I ended up rushed instead. In my haste I forgot about the key cards, so they will not come up much in this trial. I hope that you at least enjoy yourselves.)

Dio folded his arms and scoffed at the very idea of a trial.

“ So four people are dead. Great! makes it easier for me to get the hell out of here, which, BTW, I really need to do ASAP. So if we could accuse someone and move on that’d be great.”

[Crow]

“Sure let's accuse someone who already admit to it back in the hangar. The prisoner here started the fire and seems quite proud of it.” Rodney said nonchalantly, his hand twirling something small. Almost like a blade with some sort of dark substance on it's tip.

“Really now? Then how come I found you leaving the doctor's office through the maintenance tunnel, not to mention you have this scapel on you which clearly is a medical tool.” Rodney said, his tone laced with mockery.

Taking out 4 papers, Rodney added.

“Then again, how can you explain a these autopsy reports you had on you when I take you down? From what I can see, these 4 reports are for the four identical garbage that's burned in the morgue. Oh wait my bad, four clones that we found burned to char in the morgue.”

Midori stands straight at her podium, still wearing the shock blanket that Claudette gave her like a cape. "Four bodies... I wonder if any of them were accidents? Maybe all of them...? Maybe there aren't any killers at all..."

She pauses for a moment, contemplative, then adds, "I investigated the morgue. Truth bullets #7-9 are mine... or Momoko's, maybe, she was with me. I can't really make out what the glass bottle I found said. Can anyone figure it out?"

Chimon's eyes dart from person to person as they speak up. "Well... I didn't do it." they shrug.

"I investigated the Workshop, but I believe I was still in the middle of uploading my truth bullets. We'll see." Chimon lets out a laugh, "I actually stumbled upon one of the dead at the end of the night, with someone else who's among us just crying over the body. I'm sure y'all heard her scream, but why was I the only one who went to check it out?"

“That will be unlikely, considering how it is the only pod that fails despite the power outage and the fact that its top was smashed I highly doubt it is an accident. Not to mention the cuts she have on her and the puncture wound.” Rodney said, Squinting his eyes at the cadet.

"I think that was me. Umm... I found the Captain's body first, and screamed. I didn't know who it was; it was too dark, and the smoke was making everything kinda swirly... Then Antoine came and moved the body away. Then... I also found Cephalon Cy's body." She twiddles her thumbs.

 “Um because I was avoiding everyone. You know, like I have been since we got here.”

Dio was obviously furious. He would have lept out of his podium And attacked the rat, we’re it not so far. “Garbage!? They were my brothers you Kumaing! asshole!”
That was all he had to say. Nothing useful Did he have nothing to add? Was he hiding something seems like something he would do but you just can’t tell at the moment.To add.

Momoko, still clutching a wooden cross, clears her throat. "I heard Midori screaming, as well. But I didn't march right in there like you did. For all I knew, the murderer could have still been in there. So I just hid outside the door to have a look. It's important to be careful when there are demons walking around this place and you know they want me dead because I'm the only one here who threatens them, with the exception of the son of god, of course." She bows her head to Dio. 

"Also, might I add that the clones in the morgue were already dead, so if someone here did start the fire, it isn't such a big deal and that person might not need to be scrutinized, if it in fact was that person at all."

 Dio nods at Momo‘s last comment. “She’s right. The fire didn’t kill anyone, so who started it is irrelevant. This is about the single murder, we need to focus on that.”

Antoine pipes up. "I investigated mess hall, and first two truth bullets are mine. Also I have other information to share as I believe it would be useful. The captain had a very large blaster shot through his chest, and a deep gash in his temple. This means he was shot by either someone else's blaster, or his own blaster, and unless he just gave it away, I would think it was someone else's. This puts everyone with blaster as suspect in my mind, which I know includes myself and Mr. Pilot. Who else here carries one?"

"I wonder which death is the one we need to figure out..." murmurs Midori. "It could be the Captain-- I mean, the old Captain. The other causes of death seem like they could all be accidental. Like, Nailyne's med pod could just have malfunctioned... And if Cephalon Cy was caught in the fire, I guess he could have died from that. Quinfort could have been electrocuted by accident for sure... but if the old Captain really died from a blaster shot, I really don't think his death could have been anything but murder."

She turns to Antoine. "Why did you bury him so soon...? We could have looked for clues on his body, you know..."

"As Rodney said, it doesn't seem likely that one pod would have simply malfunctioned," Momoko says. "Especially considering that the others are strong enough to last through a power outage. Not to mention, why would Nailyne have been in there in the first place? Was anyone in the pod room during the night at all?"

"As for Qwark's body, that's a good question, Midori. Why did Antoine bury the captain's body, when he doesn't even know the correct prayers to recite at a burial?"
