Luna, I might be suspicious, but every action of mine is justifiable. Why I stayed longer in the Storage Room than Tasogare? Easy. I used the pen that I got in the Storage Room to write down the drone reset code on a piece of paper, and I have it on me right now. I wouldn't do that if I were the blackened. Where did I get the piece of paper? Easy. I started off in the Copier Room. Nobu can confirm that. Why did I bake a cake? Easy. I didn't eat during the day, so I decided that I'll use my baking skills to make a wonderful cake. The truth is Akane commited suicide, and me being the killer is too far-fetched.

"Guess I should talk a little, huh? Well, I didn't find crap in neither of the offices I checked, so that was a bust..."

"Started the night hanging around the kitchen with sis. She made some tea for us both. Tablet kid was there too. Saw the red clown dart from the cafeteria to the art room." ((1))

"Sis and I followed the clown to the art room, but he was already running out the presentation room to the kitchen. We went to the former and saw that the place was on fire. Cheeky bastard...!" ((2))

"Like geniuses, we poured our tea on the fire. That didn't work—obviously—so sis ran to the kitchen and got some water. She got back in time to put it out before it started really cooking." ((3))

"After that fiasco, sis wanted to get more tea, so we went back to the kitchen. Saw green guy baking a cake in there. We walked back to the presentation room once she was done." ((4))

"We sat around for way too long sipping tea." ((5))

"When it was getting late, Ego went to the nurse's office to take a nap. I loitered while she was snoozing." ((6))

"I dont want to think you did it, Rantaro, but it just makes too much sense. And if you didnt, then theres too many confusing things. How did Akane poison herself for one? There was no poison in the storage while she was there, which is when she was likely poisoned. And why would she drill a hole in the ceiling below the oven? She never returned to the storage and it's too thin for anything to pass through that isnt gas or liquid."

"I'm sorry, theres just too much I cannot answer if Akane killed herself. And theres too much as risk to be wrong.

"Rantaro killed Akane. I completely believe that. While in the storage, he waited until Tasogare left before he made his move. Drilling the hole in the ceiling. Then on his way out, seeing Akane enter the room he was trapping, he sprung his trap. Up in the kitchen he created his alibi to bake a cake, but that let him use the oven right above the hole without too much suspicion. Here he heated up the chlorine, possibly using paper from the copier room to lead it to the hole."

Luna nodded resolutely. "Theres a few things that stand out. The first being the coincidence of seeing Akane enter the storage and then being in the room above. The second being that you mention the twins enter the kitchen together, but never Ego by herself to grab water. Also, you claim to want to write the password down, but do nothing else to help despite Nobu saying specifically at the start of the night that if you have information to tell us through Omni. And most importantly I've no clue how Akane poisoned herself or why she made the hole if she did. She had no way of knowing anyone would be in the kitchen above her to frame and she never returned the storage after to have made use of dropping something through the hole.

"There are still some details I'm fuzzy on, such as the ash in the lounge and security room, but those details are minor when it comes to this case."

Swallowing around another lump Luna squeezed Chiakis hand again as and continued. "And lastly is more observation than fact. During the last two trials you were never this blunt. You were much more helpful. And... especially since you saw Akane last night, why did you not check the 12th floor first when we were looking for her?"

It's a clean piece of paper of which shows a very long 100 digit code that he somehow remembered from  a book he read in the Library.

He has a pile of straight untouched paper. There is no ash on him. Should also remember that the ash was from the night prior.

Luna, do you really want all of this to end badly? You know what will happen if you get this wrong, right? Tell me, if I really am the blackened, and if I didn't use the paper, then please explain to me, how did I make sure the gas went through the hole? If you can't answer that question, then I can't be the blackened, and that would mean Akane did, in fact, commit suicide.

Luna frowned at Rantaro. "That is a false conclusion. You KNOW I don't want this end. I want as many of us to get out. And just because I can't answer a question doesn't prove your innocence! All it means is we're missing information! Otherwise the fact that no one else can explain how Akane killed herself would mean she also couldn't commit suicide!

"Please, I'm willing to listen. Tell me how she killed herself and why the hole exist!"

Akane's goal was to probably to frame me for her murder (suicide). Now I get it. She noticed that I was going into the kitchen, so she went into the storage room because she knew it was below the kitchen. And that wasn't just a coincidence. I remember when I got my tablet out to message Nobu, I heard a siren over the speakers (I was already baking the cake by that time). It was very loud, so I got distracted for a few minutes, and I stopped baking the cake. Akane used that opportunity to probably drill the hole while I was distracted. The way she got poisoned is still a mystery to me, but I bet that she must've done that to herself before I even got to the kitchen. Because, then, she went to the bathroom to throw up. Remember?

"The issue with that is, unlike you seeing her go into a dead ended room, she had no way of knowing exactly where YOU were going. Framing you seems high suspect. Plus, the crucial question is still how she got poisoned and why she drilled a hole. None of which you answer."

Rantaro's voice cracks. "W-why does th-this have to happen? I want you all guys to know that I truly care for you all, especially Luna and Chiaki. You two have been like sisters to me this whole time." Rantaro sheds a tear. "Forgive me, everybody, for not being able to prove my innocence. I wish I had more information, but I guess I wasn't strong enough to find it."
