Game 94: Deadly Threesome [Trial 3]

Wiccan began to recount his night slowly

"I...begin my night coming up from the underground with Mother tailing me. Hearing Mica, Julian and Asai I decided to join them for a moment in the Living Room, Mother went straight to the Kitchen. After that we went our separated way. Asai headed upstairs while Julian and Mica head to the Kitchen. I remained at the Dining Room to look around for any hidden clues as how to escape this hell..."

He continues

"After that, I decided to head to the Coat Storage around the Vestibule, to look around, I thought there would be some hidden passages or  clues...behind those coats...but sadly I couldn't find anything."

He sighs sadly

"I then decided to cut through the Living Room area noticing Niles and Mica before leaving the Porch exit because my next destination was the Great Tree, which was nearer to that point and met up with Uratsu. We were talking casually about everything that had happened, that's why I don't believe Asai was killed by Uratsu."

He shook his head

"After speaking, we heard a scream and we head towards the Vestibule, we met Asai there and she wanted to speak to Ura..alone. So he told me to go ahead, that's when I saw Lucie staring at the Vestibule door. I tap her shoulder lightly and she swung her knife at me cutting my arm. At that moment, Asai and Ura came back. When the revelation was high with Ura having a knife and what not, Asai stunned Ura knocking him out."

Wiccan run his hand through his hair and continued

"Well, I carried Ura to the Bedroom, while Asai and Lucie went a separate way. In the Bedroom, I noticed Niles and he panic and ask what happened and I told him about it. Ura stirred for a moment and giving him water. I left Niles and Ura a little after."

"Then I head to Mother's Office, to be honest I was looking for Julian as we had agreed to meet around midnight at the Gated Room, but the event that happened in the Vestibule took up the time. So I followed him and Mica to Mother's Office and we look around, I tried breaking the chest code, but I couldn't."

He then look at Ura.

" This..makes me wonder, what did Asai wanted to talk to you about that it is urgent, Ura?"

Uratsu faces Wiccan, not quite looking into his eyes. “She just wanted to continue our conversation from the shed [A0]. She was pretty upset about something. So she came to me for help.”

[Crow]

Asai suddenly ran in, soaking wet and screaming like a banshee!

“Niles, can you elaborate more for what happened when she came in. You said she was wet, how wet? You also said she screamed like a banshee but what did she screamed out?” He asked, slightly leaning on his podium.

When the revelation was high with Ura having a knife and what not, Asai stunned Ura knocking him out.

Turning towards will he said, “William, can you elaborate more on what you heard if it's possible? Also can you clarify the event just before midnight? Did Uratsu had his own knife or did he gain it from disarming Lucie? Did Uratsu got tasered after or before Lucie was disarmed? Also did you and Lucie said anything before all of you went your separate ways?”

She just wanted to continue our conversation from the shed. She was pretty upset about something. So she came to me for help.

Looking towards Uratsu once more, he asked. “Can you tell us what she is upset about or are you going to give us another excuses?”

Uratsu sighs. “If you’re going to continue your attitude of being passive aggressive, then I have nothing to say to you. I’ll answer any one else’s questions.”

Niles mulls the question over in his mind.

"Well that screaming, you should've heard it too! It was pretty loud after all. I couldn't piece together who said it but it sounded like someone calling for help. I'd just assumed it was Asai who needed help." [Its actually in the announcements whoa check on discord]

He looks a bit bashful.

"Heh I might've been exaggerating a bit now that I think about it. She was soaking wet though, although I didn't sniff her for like, a chlorine smell or anything. That'd be weird!"

[Xerxes]

Mica seems to be in somewhat of a state of shock with the revaluation of everything that had happened. Slowly she gathers her thoughts.

"Well I started my night in the Livestock (A0) the animals were already missing at the beginning of the day so I doubt they are related to what has happened tonight, if that's important.. I also found a letter hidden there and a clue written on the wall that said "Ice Box". 

Mica reaches into her bag and pulls out what appears to be a very old letter with a broken wax seal to prove her point. 

"Then I went back in the house, I want to check out the icebox but I needed a pin first so I went to the pantry (A1). Of course this was after having the discussion in the living room with Asai, Wiccan and Julian. I found Mother in the pantry and asked her about the missing animals but she wasn't very much help. She left the pantry just before the hour ended. 

Now that I was finished in the pantry I went to the freezer to check out the 'Ice Box' (A2). I was looking for Julian there because that's where he said he was going after we talked in the living room but he was already gone. The box had also been broken open. I looked around for any more clues but didn't find very much. 

This is when I went back into the living room to investigate something from last night (A3). A lot of people passed through at this point. Uratsu came from upstairs and went towards the porch, Mother also came from upstairs and then went to the dining room. A little while after Lucie and Niles both come down from upstairs too, Lucie went into the dining room and Niles stayed in the living room. Afterwards Wiccan came out of the dining room and went to the porch. Then there was a scream coming from the vestibule and right after Asai ran in looking for Uratsu." 

Mica pauses for a moment to catch her breath after rattling all that off. 

"After that I was kinda lost in though and I ended up just wandering down into the basement wine cellar (A4). 

By that time though it was nearing the point when I was supposed to meet up with the people from earlier (A1) again so I went to the computer room and found Julian there (A5). We looked around for a while but her already told you about that. 

Lastly Julian and I went back upstairs to Mother's office (A6) and met up with Wiccan as well. Again they have already discussed that."

“If you really don't want me to, then why do you keep hiding things from us? This isn't the first time Ura and I am tired of you pulling this!” slamming his fist on the podium, he pointed towards Uratsu with his other hand.

“You know more than anyone of us so why are you hiding it? Why are you not telling us what's been happening? Why all the Kumaing! secrets?!”

[Tetsu]

Wiccan stares at Julian
“Your only train of thought is to pin point Ura for the knife..you do know he wasn’t the only one on the scene.”

He looks away.
“Ura did not knock Lucie’s weapon away...Asai was the one that tackled Lucie and I kick it away. Ura just stood there numbed as Lucie was spilling about him having a gun under his bed..Asai let Lucie go and ran towards Ura with a stun gun.”

“Asai said she was going to the Kitchen to get some medical supplies..so that was the last I heard..I warned her...I warned them...the air was tainted with something ominous.”

He then turns to Ura.
“Ura...would you mind sharing what was being talked about between the two of you?”

Niles perks up, spinning around to point at Uratsu.

"I know exactly what she was upset about! Wiccan told me! It's because..."

He pauses for dramatic effect

"Uratsu had a gun under his bed! And it went missing! Asai tazed Uratsu because she was afraid he'd shoot her!"

After letting his revelation shock his fellow orphans, Niles adds

"Although as far as I can tell, nobody was shot to death so how relevant could it be? Theoretically it could've been used to threaten someone but... there's no real evidence of that is there?"

[Crow]

“Smells like chlorine you say.. could it be.. no, nevermind.” Julian mumble under his breath.

Your only train of thought is to pin point Ura for the knife..you do know he wasn’t the only one on the scene

Sighing he turned towards William.
“I know I'm being unfair here, but right now I'd rather be biased than staying quiet like usual.”

Lucie was spilling about him having a gun under his bed

Uratsu had a gun under his bed! And it went missing! Asai tazed Uratsu because she was afraid he'd shoot her

“William knowing Uratsu having a gun I can understand since he did search everyone's bed yesterday, but how did you and Lucie knows Niles?” he asked, turning towards Niles.

[crazynuto]

Niles is not used to such questioning so he feels a bit awkward.

"W-Well Lucie was the one who told me. She said she'd found it last night but hadn't told anyone aside from me...I think. I found out about it when we talked in the Library. I'd only found out about it missing when Wiccan told me! So after the whole tazing thing happened. But I still don't know how relevant it is, aside from it clearing Uratsu of suspicion. After all he couldn't have killed Asai whilst being tazed."

He nervously mimics a "bzzzt" noise and laughs.

"A-And I don't think Wiccan did it either, because he carried Uratsu to the bedroom. Still this happened rather late [A4] so anyone who was alone at that time is pretty suspicious...myself included."

[Tetsu]

Wiccan spoke

“I believe the gun was missing this morning...wasn’t it Ura?”

[Crow]

Afterwards Wiccan came out of the dining room and went to the porch

Thinking for a bit, Julian asked “William, when you come from the dining room you never saw Mother right? Can we assume mother was in the basement at this point?”

After that I was kinda lost in though and I ended up just wandering down into the basement wine cellar

“Mica, did you see anyone on your way from the Wine cellar?” he said, facing her with less ferocity than how he look at others.

I'd only found out about it missing when Wiccan told me

I believe the gun was missing this morning...wasn’t it Ura?

“I.. have no words for this, Lucie apparently knows since yesterday so it could be her but her attacking people with a knife instead of shooting them lower the chances of that. So this left either mother.. or someone we don't know is here.” stopping for a bit, he pointed towards the additional portraits.

“None of us added them and it can't be Ura since he was out cold. Unless mother was here before it is the only explanation I can get without saying outlandish idea like we live in a simulation.”

But I still don't know how relevant it is, aside from it clearing Uratsu of suspicion. After all he couldn't have killed Asai whilst being tazed.

Sighing, Julian continued. “And while I wanted to deny, you are right. Ura won't have the strength to after being tasered.”

Taking out a purse, Julian pull out a medical kit from it. “This is Asai's purse, she did have the medkit she said she would take for William. So she couldn't have died at around midnight.”

Turning towards Uratsu, he said “Uratsu, sorry for not trusting you but please, please if you know anything. Anything at all, please tell us.” His tone lack any of his previous hostility, just.. sounding tired, almost lost.

Uratsu, being a little more than bombarded with accusations, questions, and revelations, decided to break his silence for once.

He starts by looking down.

"I was trying to protect you."
"All of you."
"From the horrible secrets Mother keeps."
"And the truth about the Orphanage."

He now looks to Julian first.

"The secrets were kept in order to save the lives of not only myself, but anyone I would have told."
"If I told you, both of us would have been adopted."
"If anyone knew, even at the cost of everyone, we all would have been adopted."

Uratsu scans across the group now.

"If you're willing to have your life on the line for a secret, then I'll tell you."
"As Mother isn't here... she can't know that you know."
"But if this is what you all want, then..."

Uratsu pauses, and takes a deep breath.

He carefully antagonized over how to tell anyone these words, for years.

"Mother and I meet every night at 9pm-10pm [A2]."
"We discuss thing about adoption; who will be adopted, when it will happen, how to do about it, etc."
"It was me who really made the plan to stop announcing who gets adopted, but rather to just celebrate as if everyone is being adopted."
"And then that person is simply... gone."

Uratsu holds his head in his hands, looking more bleak.

"She let it slip one day."
"She had accidentally told me about an issue that occurred 3 years ago."
"When a girl was... --had died in the gateway side room, rather than outside these walls."
"She said, and I quote, "I suppose the monsters got too hungry because I was too late in their shipment, that they ate her within the walls of the gate instead of outside.""

Uratsu shook his head, trying to shake loose the images that will never go away.

"Naturally, I questioned her."
"For month, I blamed her. For everything."
"And of course, I still do to this day. How could someone taking care of children feed them to monsters? Where did they come from? Why?"

Uratsu straightened up a bit more, letting go of his head.

"Mother didn't tell me everything. But she did say that I could not tell anyone about our secrets, or else I would get adopted, along with everyone else I told."
"As painful as it was to keep this secret, I had to carry the burden to keep everyone safe..."
"...knowing full well what it really meant to be... 'adopted'."

Uratsu goes silent for a little bit, letting everyone soak in his words before continuing to talk about the gun.
