Monitor B does not change from Asai.
Asai runs out of the Library "Julian!" she shouts out
Julian quickly shuffle to his feet, Knife ready in hand. He was about to lunge when he froze seeing the person in front of him.
“...A-Asai?” he asked, his voice quivering.
Dropping the knife, he hugged her.
Mica rushes out of the library behind Asai, breathing a sigh of relief when she sees Asai and Julian right outside
“I- I thought I lost you..” he softly whispered to her ear.
Making some distance between them, he checked her injuries more closely this time.
“Who did this to you?”
Mica rolls her eyes "Who is the only person who could hurt Asai?"
Asai ran into Julian's arms "You shouldn't be such an idiot."
Asai giggled a little bit "Its not real blood, its just soap, You think I'd go down without a fight?"
Stepping back to give her space, Julian turn around and pulled his scarf up.
“Hush, I wasn't thinking clearly.”
Asai takes off the jacket and looked at it "It's covered in red, it'll wash out though, but you can have it if you want it"
turning back around, Julian take the jacket with a slight smile.
“It's fine, as long as you're safe.”
Turning towards Mica, he added.
“Oh yeah, I'm glad you're safe as well Mica.”
"Yeah yeah, sure you are" Mica stifles a giggle as she watches the way the two of them interact
"I'm just glad I got Asai to drop the charade and go find you before you did anything stupid" She nods towards the knife he dropped onto the floor
Looking down at the knife, Julian pick it back up.
“It's not stupid in my opinion, it would only be fair if I return the favor if something did happen.”
Turning back to Mica, he said. “Oh yeah, did you get the book from the library? We can try the blacklight now.”
Glancing at Asai he quickly added. “Don't worry, Asai knows so no point keeping it from her.”
Mica shakes he head slowly "No sorry, in the panic of 'Asai dead, you calling for blood, and asai not dead' I forgot to grab it.."
Asai shook her head "Stupid would have been attacking someone who didn't do anything wrong. You didn't even check out my 'wound', or check my pulse. And yeah, I think I heard most of what you said."
Hearing the two berate him for his actions and even worse his thoughts. Julian could only look down to the floor and pull his scarf to cover his blushing face.
A small gust of mysterious wind pushes the book out of the library and into the hallway.
Seeing Julian's reaction Mica backs off a little
"But - even though you're actions seemed rash to me, I understand why you would respond that way" She places a hand on Julian's arm to reassure him "Don't feel bad"
Mica suddenly notices the book on the ground beside them
"Oh! Maybe I accidently knocked it on my way out here?"
She bends down to pick up the book

pulling his scarf just so he could see them, he said. “Well at least something gone right tonight.”
Clearing his throat, Julian pull down and fix his scarf position before putting his jacket on.
“the pen fell down from it's spine, but let's check the light page by page. If there is a code or message there then we should check it throughoutly.”
Mica pulls the pen out of her pocket and hits the second button to turn on the light before first carefully flashing it over both exterior covers and then opening the book to check the pages
The back cover of the book is the only area where the light shines a message under the black light.
“From bright to dark,
and ash from bark;
this glowing beast resides,
Is where you'll find clue number five”
moving next to Mica, Julian look at what the light shows.
“From bright to dark, and ash from bark; this glowing beast resides, Is where you'll find clue number five" hm.. say, which part of the orphanage was the forest again?” he ask after some thought
"The forest? Oh.. I thought maybe it meant the fireplace.." Mica says.
“Could be as well, what do you think Asai. Which one should we investigate?” says Julian.
"From bright to dark, and ash from bark; this glowing beast resides, is where you'll find clue number five" Asai repeats a few times.
"Could that be the Grand Tree? Bright to Dark meaning the day/night cycles, and from bark is well, obvious. But the part that intrigues me most is the clue number 5, that means there is at least 4 before this. Maybe this book is number 4, but that still leaves 3."
Julian: “3 other clues... Didn't what we overheard from mother's office lead to this book? I guess that's number 3, also Mica remember the recording that Niles had? I think that's number 2... But what's number 1?”
"I'm not sure what 1 would be... or even that the recording was number 2. Does the recording somehow lead to mother's door? Where was the recording found? Maybe it's 5 or 7 or 15 for all we know!" says Mica.
Asai look at the other 2 and asks "Grand Tree, Forest... wait he have a fireplace? Well, anyways, which do you think we should go to?"
"well the riddle mentions ash and a glowing beast, that's what makes me think of fire" chimes Mica.
cupping his chin in thought, Julian said “There are three possible location and three of us, normally I would suggest splitting up but considering what happened yesterday I doubt that's a good idea.”
“For now let's just check what Mica suggested. We can't see anything outside anyway this late at night.”
Asai nods her head "Now, am I just losing it, or did anyone else hear screaming just a moment ago?"
Mica's face turns serious as she nods slowly
"I did.. yeah... it sounded like it came from outside"
Julian sigh at the mention of the scream. “Yeah it sounded like it came from outside, but I couldn't hear much. All I caught was "Shed" and that's before you ran into me.”
“So which one will it be, taking a peek outside or check the fireplace?” he said, crossing his arm.
"Well, I gotta go to the bathroom and wash this stuff off, so how about I'll call it quits for tonight and you two check out the fireplace?" Asai responded, sounding slightly cheeky
Julian open his mouth to object, but soon shut it back close and just nod.
“Stay safe alright? We'll catch back with you tomorrow.”
"I wanna check out the fireplace, I've already had enough scares for one night" Mica shoots an accusatory glance at Asai before chuckling lightly, "Go wash up before you give anyone else a heart attack"
Asai gives a bit of a grin "If you say so, though of course we can go check it tomorrow and you two can come with me and stop me from being oh so lonely"
For a moment, Julian considered the idea seriously before glancing between the knife in his hand and Mica.
“I don't mind either way, but it depends on Mica. I can't just leave her alone after involving her.”
Turning towards Asai, Julian flip the knife to hold it by the blade and offer it to her. “Also take this, I think you will find better use for it than me.”
Mica looks between Julian and Asai and smirks slightly
"Well alright, let's stick with Asai then, it's getting really late anyways, wouldn't want to be caught out and about by mother"
Asai somehow catches the hilt of the knife with her mouth because... anime powers idk before spitting it out the ground "Eugh, should have used corn syrup. Soap is disgusting." She picks up the knife and puts it in her purse.
"So, we're gonna go shower then?" She gives the other 2 a smirk "It's oh so late, and I want to go to sleep early, I think we could manage to finish showering before 2AM if we shower together"
Without so much as a smirk, she turns away from the other 2 and walks into the bedroom
Mica hesitates for a moment and looks at Julian, "That uh..That wasn't what I expected..."
Julian blink a few times at Asai's joke, he know it's a joke but he still could help but hide his reddening cheeks with his scarf once more
Mica notices Julian's face and gives him a wink, nudging him to go after her while she follows a few steps behind
Julian was speechless at the two and couldn't help but sigh. With a shake of his head, he followed after them as he push aside any bad thoughts.
Asai's voice calls out to the hallway, there is a flirtatious tone "Well, are you coming or what?"
Mica nudges Julian again and whispers "Well? don't keep her waiting!"
If eyes can lit up in flames, Julian's eyes would be as he stare at Mica.
